    Not too sure about Onion...but Jhace...from our SG hit 50 a several months ago.

    I have one at lvl15, however am looking to get all accolades before reaching lvl24. Won't be able to start this until lvl20 (Striga Isle: War Wolves/Vampyrii etc). So...lvl50 won't be coming for a long time yet.

  9. If you already have Katana...I'd advise being different and going for Dark Melee. this will also provide you with Acc debuffs making you even more of a pain to hit.

    IMO the most ideal set for SR would be Martial Arts as it compliments the SR set with speedy attacks.

    Guys before I leave over February I'd just like to know your thoughts onto moving our lvl50 alts into an SG purely for that. With 27 lvl50s I would say there are about 4-5 that are used regularly.

    May even have this SG house our heroes in the lvl45-50 range. Those with multiple alts in this lvl range will have the option to keep one alt in the Guild.

    Of course some member's 50s who haven't been on in months won't be able to be transferred. However, is there anyway the DEVs (have sent a request via petition) can wrangle moving them for us? /em beg, grovel...
  12. imo, if you're making a barbarian, the invulnerability set would be more ideal as it is a beefy powerset.

    SR is still a good set despite the nerfs, however it's more suited for heroes that are lightweight and would rely on speed for defence as most of the powers don't offer much in terms of dmg resists.

  15. On February 7th my current subscription to CoH/V will come to an end. After much deliberation I've decided that I won't be re-newing this as I'll be away for most of the month and most likely not be able to get on. I originally thought I'd have more time to me after this month, however its gone round the opposite way.

    But don't cry just yet ladies (and gentlemen...so not to descriminate) ...The Captain will be back for more fun and frolics

    Hopefully on my return the GoEH will still be around since most "elder" SGs have withered over the last couple of months.

    I'm sure there'll be some core GoEH'ers around whether it be in CoH or CoV.

    Captain over and out...well for a while anywho :P

  17. I have Choking Cloud on Capt since i3. I have it slotted with 2Mez Hamio's 2holddur and coupled with Tactics.

    I'm pretty much a melee'ing defender and stay pretty close to the action. Dangerous but fun.

    Spreading RI and then jumping in to irradiate drastrically reduces their defences, meaning Choking Cloud hit quite consistantly. Due to its slotting, the hold duration is pretty lengthy enabling CCloud to autohit again and also stack.

    Well I took flurry for Eternal Light and decided to save God the trouble and killed a kitten myself.

    Hardly use it in my attack chains due to the "your dead before it ends" animation. Mainly taken to give my scrapper a more speedster type appeal. It however has a higher damage output than Air Superiority and also has a chance of disorientating...albeit small.

    looks at the build on the bottom (the one in brown text) lol...the build in blue text is what earth has at the moment, as in now, before i get the free respec i need.

    the bottom build is the build i propose to have....and it doesn't have weave! i realised how weak it was throughout issue6. ^_^

    Im a Tanker n00b, but with taking Taunt so late in the 2 last builds inthis thread (24 and 30 i think it was) and the first Aura Inv gets at 18, surely u wont b able to hold aggro until then? and even then only when theyr close. Am i missing something?
    Looking to learn becuase iv rolled an Inv/SS too, he's only an ickle lvl 14 though.

    With the "proposed build" I have Taunt in for lvl24. I've decided to be selfish from lvl 1-24 due to defences not being too great and a lack of attack powers.

    Invincibiity, Knockout Blow and Stamina (fitness power pool) I'd like to get early as they are essential powers to take.

    I'll still have taunt if I exemp down for first respec...and doubt I'll exemp down to the lower lvls too often.

  25. The build I lvl'd up in was back in issue3 (got 50 in around March). The build I posted (in blue) is the current post-ED slotting for Earth.

    On next free respec, shall be releasing the 2 Dmg Resist in Unstoppable would be beneficial, however am to keep 3 TH Buffs in Rage. With 3 TH Buffs in Invincibility and 3 TH Buffs in Rage, it provides me with about +85% ACC. At work at the moment so not able to see the figures for 1 TH Buffs in Invincibility and 3 TH Buffs in Rage.
