Yeah, he spawns as often as the others, it randomly picks one or two guys to spawn.

Well that is good news!
Blizz, what missions you have planned for the AV Thursday team up? If we're doing some of Alexia's AVs thinking we're gonna be needing lvl50s and enough to SK up lower lvls. -
Haha...made me chuckle reading that.
However I can only guess this won't bode too well for us as the people upstairs will take heed and nerf us to kingdom come! -
If you're looking for PVP SR scrapper, then I would go with either Broadsword (for huge damage and Parry stacking) or MA (disorientates, power activation cost relatively low to other scrapper primaries).
Also bear in mind, there's a heck of a lot of MA/SRs out there (I've got one myself). By taking BS/SR, there's only a handful knocking about at a considerable lvl. -
Jump Kick not only probably has the weakest dmg out of other travel pool powers such as Air Superiorty and Flurry, its animation time can be considered as a bit lengthy.
Like MaX said, it is a low endurance costing toggle (the more toggles you have the more your opponent needs to do to knock them all off) and offers an increase in verticle jump (boost in height of jump...hurdle=boost in length of jump). -
Your concept build for your Fire/Fire Tank is looking interesting and find it commendable that you're choosing Fly over Jump.
With Earth, it was always easy to make him competant in taking in the hits. I've sacrified Resist Elements & Energies for other powers that compliment his bio. Despite this loss it adds character in the sense he is vulnerable to those types of attacks. In order to compensate for this I've made him able to take a lot of Smash/Lethal damage.
Can't give much advice in what powers to take as I've never really played past lvl10 on a Fire/Fire Tank. However hopefully words of encouragement will allow you to see this Concept build to the end. Good Luck fella. -
MaX...if there's anyone that'll know it'll probably be you...
This morning the team I was in whilst in Recluse's Victory managed to spawn Ghost Widow, Captain Mako and Scirocco.
Is there any possibility of making Lord Recluse spawn? -
Cheers for the responses, teams for this is looking promising already.
[ QUOTE ]
1 team will do it just fine providing you have the necessary setup
[/ QUOTE ]
Those in the know, what would be the preferred setup to take on the AVs in RV? ...cos I haven't the foggiest! :P -
[ QUOTE ]
The lag when the Hero's are out in RV means I cant play there, is worse than a Hami raid for me.
[/ QUOTE ]
That's a shame mate...would've been good to have you along.

Oh and Evil Bob (level 41 Grav/Rad troller) would like to Join AV thursday
[/ QUOTE ]
Sweet...the more the merrier.
Depending on our lvls and what lvl AV missinos we take, I may bring Eternal Light for this Thursday. He has started his Maria Jenkin's missions and has some with Unai also to complete. -
After fighting in Recluses Victory for the last 4hours, its clear to see that more than one team will be needed to take down the AVs that spawn once destroying 4Bases.
Eight lvl50 heroes later:
Captain Solaris lvl50 Rad/Rad Defender
ton lvl49 Invul/Stne Tanker
unit1 lvl50 Nrg/Nrg Blaster
Discharge lvl50 Fire/Emp Controller
Tyrannus lvl50 Invul/Fire Tanker
Orion Star lvl50 Emp/? Defender
Miss Easy lvl50 ?/FF Controller
Mr. Apollo lvl50 ?/? Scrapper
...despite quite a balanced out team, we were still none the richer (this 8man team prompted 3 villains Ghost Widow, Captain Mako and Sicorro...the katana weilding one, can't remember his name).
I'm proposing a gathering for Sunday 25th June or nearabouts depending on the interest. Times will either be from 10am onwards or throughout the evening.
Its obvious that the villains will catch wind of this and possibly assemble a strike team to foil our attempts. Therefore the more heroes available the better our chances...who knows, if enough heroes, it may prompt Lord Recluse out himself (is that possible? ...heh...i don't know).
If the interest is great then I may move the date later this month so we can organise it a bit better.
Regards
Capt. -
Any of you guys tried Recluses Victory yet?
Was in there early this morning and attemtped to take on Ghost Widow on her own as Earth...well , those who've been in there can guess what happened next...I got slapped quick and hard!
Invited some good friends into the fray, however this prompted Captain Mako to make an appearance. To say it was tough would've been an understatement.
Eight lvl50 heroes later (reverted to Captain Solaris):
ton lvl49 Invul/Stne Tanker
unit1 lvl50 Nrg/Nrg Blaster
Discharge lvl50 Fire/Emp Controller
Tyrannus lvl50 Invul/Fire Tanker
Orion Star lvl50 Emp/? Def
Miss Easy lvl50 ?/FF Controller
Mr. Apollo lvl50 ?/? Scrapper
...and we were still none the richer (although Sicorro..think thats his name, katana wielding AV..was brought into it along with GW and Mako).
What I'm proposing, maybe after our AV event this Thursday we can get several Recluse Victory teams setup to face these Arch-Villains in that zone.
Will post a team sheet on this thread and on another to entice other SGs, heroes to be involved.

Radiation attacks have 10% ACC boost.

Very true...and with the 2-10% decrease they recieve on def when hit by your blast, they become even mroe easy to hit. -
it is the same one...however don't blame you for mistaking chels to be a bloke, as it is sometimes hard to pass chels off as a lass *awaits punch in groin*
*ouch* thank you ma'am! pls may i have another!

I wouldn't count earth out so quickly. I use it very effectively with my stone/axe tanker. The immob and the hold are massively useful for pinning down any runners. Stalagmites not only looks good but is a superb aggro getter. The AoE sleep is kind of pointless though. As mudpots wakes them all up again. for an ice or inv tanker not using a damaging aura it would be much more useful.
[/ QUOTE ]
I agree.
With my Invul/SS Tanker I've chosen Earth Mastery. Primarily to fit in with the bio I made for him when first created (last year February). The majority find Salt Crystals (despite being awoken when attacked, it puts enemies to sleep for long periods) to be a waste of time, however I find it useful, provided I complete my AoE attacks first.
Stalagmites is a bit of a endurance hog and rechrge is relatively lengthy, however it does stack with Hand Clap...after this, is when I usually activate Salt Crystals.
Routine as follows:
Herd mob
Footstomp
Hand Clap
Stalagmites
Salt Crystals
Majority of mob is contained...those not affected by disorientate from Hand Clap/Stalagmites are usually held by Salt Crystals. The few (if any at all) stragglers face the wrath of Knockout Blow or be held with Fossilize.
I've tried other epics including Fire and Power Mastery. Fire is exceptionally good for holds. Power Mastery, despite being very handy, is pretty boring imo.
Nowadays, I always say try something different instead of the norm which everybody is getting just to make their heroes "uber".
Develop on character and make your hero interesting...not predicatable. -
Well done on your first lvl50 villain.
By the sounds of things you and Spec have been at it like bunnies...well in terms of getting high lvl villains in a short period of time!
Well done again,
Capt -
Congrats on the lvl50 villain matey! You've lvl'd well.
Will have to get Earth to monitor your destardly deeds and keep you in check from here on now.

Flush (Empath Def) is interested in joining us for the AV Hunt next week Thursday, which solves our need for a healer to the event.
Random remark/rant...well done to England for getting through to the next round of the World Cup. Despite scoring again today, I still can't stand Peter Crouch being in the England team...as for Stuart Downing...why oh why is he there and actually getting to play! Despite Boro being my local team, I feel there are other more worthy players we could've brought (like Jermaine Defoe) ...the mind boggles. -
Check out the Guild of Extreme Heroes thread if any of your guys are interested in joining us for an event.
Have put your name forward for the AV Hunt for next week Thursday.
There's 2 events scheduled...
AV Thursday - 22nd June, 2130hrs, Meet up at P.I. Portal Corp.
Synapse TF - Saturday 24th June, 10:30am -
Hey Flush,
We have some spaces for an AV hunt next week if any of you guys are interested. Badges galore!
We're needing healers and damage dealers atm, but whoever is interested can send me an msg on the GoEH thread or PM me.

What's the level range for Synapse? I've got a low blapper and my controller who might like it, Schro's not exemp friendly I'm afraid
[/ QUOTE ]
Lvl range for Synapse is 15-21 (I think) bud. If you're not taking Schro, will bring in Capt for it instead of Earth. -
Hehe...I really should read things through more carefully!
Unable to do Synapse this Saturday, most possibly next week though...However, had you not disconnected when we did it originally (with Deus Bellator, Ekallo, MOLEY, number9dream, Toshi), you would've had it aaaaaagessss ago! Ahh but then again, it just wouldn't be you if you had a stable connection.x
Looking forward to next week!
Capitan -
Forgot to put a time...well for me anytime next week Thursday good for me, day off work and don't think I have anything pre-planned.
Also, are we opening this AV hunt to others outside the SG? If we are that'd be cool, as I know some people who may be interested also. -
Hey Flush
Great to see you taking a pro-active view in helping newbies to CoH.
Over the next couple of days I'll be in game more often in a bid to revive the GoEH. There's some coalitions that I'm having to remove due to inactivity and would like to add you to our list.
Catch me on @Captain Solaris
Capt -
Scrub Earth into the team babe. Just respec'd him, so would be nice how he fairs to the powered up AVs. Hand Clap rocks!
After playing an unrespec'd version of Capt during an AV mission, he was able to wipe the floor with Malaise. Schro should be more than enough to debuff em to kingdom come! -
In a bid to clear up some room for new heroes, I'm proposing moving all our active active Lvl50s to another sister SG. It'll be an open SG with maximum privilages to all and I'll be placing Earth and hopefully soon, Gabriel Knight.
What I proposing is the following:
Lvl50 SG: All heroes that achieve lvl50 are placed into this SG.
Guild of Extreme Heroes The main SG where your main hero shall be kept, along with any higher lvl alts (lvl30-49) or alts that are played regularly (ie: lvl1-30 alts that are played constantly and intended to be lvl'd fully).
Academy of Extreme Heroes Lvl1-30 alts and minor heroes that are played every so often.
I haven't come up for a name for it yet. But maybe you can bombard me with some ideas.
Some name ideas so far are...
GoEH Ascension
Ascension of Extreme Heroes
G-Extreme

Morning all!
How's everyone enjoying the new issue? Well I've just logged onto i7 for the first time today.
I've placed some Enhancements and Inspiration Storages in the base. The Inspirations are for all, however Enhancements that are lvl50+, please ask the one who placed it in there if you can have it before taking. If you do not wish to give Enhancements away, however wish to store some, please inform Blizzaria or myself so can place a notice on the SG MsgoTD/SG Descrp.
I see that free respecs are still not available and a few bugs that still need to be ironed out. There, the AV events have been postponed until further notice.
I'd like to give out a bit more responsibility to regular members if possible. So those wishing to take a more active part in running the SG say co and will bump you up to Council lvl which will you almost the same privilages as Blizzaria and Capt does.
Remeber Prestige is paramount! Those lvl30 and below, please keep yourself in SG mode and if you require influence, I'm available to distribute some. (most possibly from my Influence achieving alt, Eternal Light who has currently about 20mil inf atm).
Come next week, I should have more activity in CoH and will be looking to re-vitalise our SG.
Godspeed Heroes!
Capt
