Very nice Catz

Made one this evening. Absolutely monstrous.
-
I spent the evening on a villanous alt - the evil Antimuon! Archnemesis of Positron, this bad boy levels like a fiend (try making him at 6pm, logging off having solo'd near all of 11.3 levels). Looking like a definite threat to the heroic side of the 1AT.
-
Just make sure he tells them in SG rather than coalition chat... no sense in punishing the rest of us!
-
marvellous!
Good to have it back in action, especially by answering a question from the legendary ducky -
Because everyone wishes they could be as noobtacular as us?
My recommendation for the day - enjoy the game! Nothing else matters -
*sidles into thread...
Happy Birthday Max!
*saunters out of thread -
Temporal Rangers

I'll be making allsorts of things....
but in the meantime, here's the details to how to recreate the costumes. I checked, and it looks ace in the UO colours and symbol too.
First off, the colours.
colours
Right.
Heads first - Male and Huge are the same, I'll go through the female options later on.
Male/Huge - Head Type = Half Helmets
Helmets = Round, Stripe 4
Detail 1 = Reflector Shield
Detail 2 = Chin Guard
Helmet detail 1 = Small Trojan Vent
Helmet detail 2 = Side Scoops
Male/Huge - Upper Body Type = Armoured
Chest = Tech Bot
Shoulders = Smooth
Chest Detail = Symbol 5
Gloves = Smooth or Banded, Tech Bot
Male/Huge - Lower Body = Tight
Pants = Tech Bot
Boots = Smooth or Banded, Tech Bot
Female Head type = Full Helmets
Helmet = Retro Tech
Detail 1 = Filtrator
Detail 2 = Reflector Shield
Female Upper Body = Tight
Chest = Tech Bot
Chest Detail = Symbol 5
Shoulders = Smooth
Gloves = Flared or Banded, Tech Bot
Female Lower Body = Tight
Pants = Tech Bot
Boots = Smooth, Tech Bot.
And that's pretty much it.

Not an official costume, but an unofficial one, mainly for PvP'ing in. Rocky is running a costume competition at the moment on our forums. -
i wouldn't necessarily prioritise it, but there are usually a couple of slots to be found during the 30s for putting into powers like hide.
For ninjitsu, which uses mainly positional defence, the additional slots in hide are well worth it. -
It also provides the only significant defense available to /regen stalkers, and makes a real difference in PvE, especially fighting high level longbow.
The AOE defence is useful for dealing with foes with damage auras, allowing you to AS between ticks. -
ah, but I only have EA just now, and the initial 3xend red really helps for the levels in between. I may experiment with dropping to just two end reds in it, but as I don't have any endreds in glacial, frozen armour or chilling embrace, and just a single endred in wet ice, i may just keep it there.
Will have a little play once I've got EA slotted. -
first things first stick 3xend reds in there.
I picked them up at 22 on mine on Sunday (now 26.7) and it made a massive difference to my damage output.
I'm considering putting either 1acc 2dam or 2acc 1 dam, in them for the final 3 slots, but they will wait till after energy absorption is slotted. -

You guys crack me up, this thread is funnier than our old one!

Enough of the foreplay chives, you know you wanna be a Ranger -
FWIW, when i did CoTt last week, he was a "Monster" class villain - so probably sitting in between the EB/AV divide (hence the squishiness)
-
Elerith, you don't get a bye. You have to fight both team 1 and team 2 at the same time, and if you don't win, you are out
(i mean, doh! yes, you get a bye) -

...snip... topic under discussion is that of whether stealth is needed in sirens call.
Short answer is YES
[/ QUOTE ]
Actually, short answer is No. If you view AS as your opening move, then yes, you will struggle without stealth/invis, but to be perfectly honest, you aren't fulfilling the potential of the AT in PVP. Especially as empaths and /dev stalker hunters will ensure you still get seen, unless you move up a notch to invisibility.
A good stalker only uses AS to finish the combat, not to instigate it, unless you are making use of the environment. -
The draw:
Eat Static, Max Thunder, OmegaMCX vs Red Hot Rock, Columna, Troke
Bye - SinghMC, Katie Ann
Lives: Columna, Troke, Omega MCX (2)
Eat Static, Max Thunder, Red Hot Rock, Elerith, Katie Ann, SinghMC (1)
Eliminated: Captain Skyfire, Carnifax, Soaring Dragon
Have fun guys -
sorry guys, i'm feeling really awful today (bloody stomach ache).
I'll do the draw now, and if you want to play them tonight, that is cool. Providing results are in by Monday night, should all be ok -
Indeedy! A fantastic bloke, with a pair of boots that I would happily steal in a second!
Manny Hippy Retiren's! -
Ahem.
We interrupt this thread to bring you the following messages:
Happy birthday Steel.
Isn't it.
Yarr
HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Oh wait, that wouldn't be interrupting the thread -
unyielding, i think, purely as it forms the bulk of your mez protection.
As for taunt at 4, that is no longer possible - the earliest you can take it now is level 10. -
Yep invincibility is invuln's taunt aura. As for the affect not being noted, the game and builders make note of the fact that you could slot taunt enhancements in the power, which is usually a giveaway in a non-damage power.
As for the original question, both my tanks have taken taunt at 10, to allow me to completely manage aggro with Chilling Embrace.
