Quote:Staying alive is not gimping. I don't know what gave you that idea. And that is not the earmark of a bad tank. A bad tank dies a lot.and that is one of the problems currently in the game. if all support and dps toons are building for capped defense, they are gimping on what they are supposed to be doing. It is also the reason we have so many bad tanks lately.
Your suggestion that people should only play how you think they are "supposed to" is blatantly offensive. -

Quote:After reading and thinking about it, I believe he typed "using assassin strike out of hide" to mean using assassin strike while in hide. Can you clarify one thing?
Your first post starts by saying "Using Assassin Strike out of hide is still interruptible. It is the only way of dealing that massive scale 7 damage and inflicting demoralize. If you placate an enemy you are considered hidden and will execute an interruptible Assassin's Strike."
And in the above post you said "The out of hide Assassin Strike should benefit all secondary sets relatively equally as it isn't interruptible." -

Oh...I get it. You used the same phrase to mean two different things...Using Assasin Strike WHILE HIDDEN is still interruptible, etc. Gotcha. -
Quote:Yes, I definitely want to know more about both parties before choosing a side. I'm not a fan of this whole do what we say trust us stuff, just so they can play the haha I'm smarter than you idiot card AGAIN.Or maybe he's still a conniving scoundrel. The Letter Writer (not that we have any reason to trust him/her) certainly implies that. And he isn't too happy with Ramiel helping the player to become an incarnate. He's also violating the the (supposed) inablility to travel further back in time than one's tether.
Alternatively, the current Nemesis wouldn't actually listen to someone claiming to be a future version of himself. Or maybe we need the Rikti war machine running at full speed so that they can assist in fighting a greater threat. -
Quote:I don't really agree with the "blame the (so-called) 'victim'" mentality. So if you're mad that the items for sale in the Paragon Market are too expensive don't blame Paragon Studios, blame your fellow players who seem to be willing to throw all their hard-earned money at it. *shrugs*
By that logic, we should all be mad at you for Buying all the costume slots. Seems like inconsistent reasoning. And there is no reason to jump to the conclusion that since they spend 500 points on ONE item, that they are spending ALL of their hard earned money. -
Uh, the problem I have with Miss Liberty coming back is the villain side of SSA 3...won't she be mad that "you" pulled the trigger on her? (if you did) lol
-
On the subject of Mender Silos/Nemesis, why doesn't he go back and "mend" starting the Rikti war in the first place? Surely this one event would have a much greater impact and Swell the amount of defense available against the "coming storm".
Or perhaps it would prevent people from seeing the need to invent an emergency medical transport system? lol -

Lol, this board will make drama out of anything. Something has to go up every single week. If you don't like it, say meh and move on. It is not an "insult" to offer you something you don't want.
This does indeed seem lackluster and a complete waste, but I don't care. Not gonna buy it, just wait for something else. -
Quote:Um, that's a weird conclusion to draw, considering your very first point. As a person who traveled to San Diego Comic Con a few years ago ONLY to get s costume code, I can confidently say "Yes". People, or at least a friend and I, go to conventions for that reason alone. Not saying it's normal practice or widespread but it does happen.
As far as the costume codes go, they are way too expensive points-wise for me to consider getting them at this point. Being a completist, I of course want them all but refuse to pay the kind of money it would take to get them all. I'll wait for them to go on sale or for their prices to be adjusted. <b>I imagine they're not selling all that well based on the comments here.</b>
Lastly, I use the costume code changes for my Shapeshifter toon. It's perfect for that but conceptually I'm not sure what else they can be used for other than "dressing up" for Halloween. Hence, why they're over-priced.
A grand total of 28 comments made, half of them disagree, and you want to make a statement based on THAT?! Forums are a MINOR percentage of everyone that plays, at that. -
Quote::waves:Indeed. 480 Points is $6 (US).
I heard from someone who attended the last HeroCon that they were selling old costume codes for $20 apiece in the merch booth, and that they sold out of them. I'm more than happy to pay $6 for the convention codes.
Way to scoop me. lol
I'm honestly surprised no one said "We paid twenty dollars for these at herocon! This is a SLAP IN THE FACE! OMG!" lol -
Has anyone earned it yet? Is it a ToT drop?
-
Well, to be fair, I don't think head details are 90% of all costume parts.

Quote:It wasn't a REAL Rubik's cube, those things are tougher. I had no idea it would shatter that one piece so it wouldn't stay together. :Pbroke a Rubik's Cube into pieces and tried to put it back together while trying to hide it from Ghost Falcon's camera.
It was great meeting you guys then, and the year after, and at the Meet and greet at the last San Diego Con! Hope to see you again someday. -

Quote:Except his final morality choice is kill either one group of innocent unarmed civilians, or another group of innocent unarmed civilians that happen to disagree with you.I guess so. Looks like I should have signed up with Calvin Scott from the get go.
Which makes it clear that being the resistance is obviously the wrong choice.
Just like being loyalist. -
Quote:Not that he is still alive. That the only reason the people are still alive is because he felt like not killing them during the truce. And now it is over. And that sonic fences have, by the way, been tried before and failed. I might be a little nervous.Mass Hysteria about what? That Hamidon is still alive? I don't think that would cause panic: the sonic fences are still up for a reason, and I don't see people running around in the streets: there's nowhere to go.
Not to mention the enriche-pickled brains of the populace are in general going to have their reactions dampened a bit. More likely the revelation of Cole's specific actions during the Hamidon war would cause anger and mistrust of Cole's regime, and that would start creating cracks in his control moreso than shattering it completely. There would still be a lot of people who would say "and?" -
Oh, I certainly understand WHY we're doing it. That's logical. I'm just wondering if the COST is even a consideration at all, or if we're just kinda glossing over it.
-
Wait, so the plan is to take the information about Hamidon, and broadcast it to the public?! Won't this cause mass hysteria and significant civilian casualties? Or do we not care because this is war and them's the breaks? lol
That idea about getting gun based Judgements for non powered heroes sounds awesome, if we could get that though. Good one, liquid.
