  2. There's been some great posts here; Zombie Man's stand out to me in particular.

    All I can add is that the marketing department seem to be getting increasingly more lazy and greedy as the points system goes on.

    I've always bought every costume pack on both of my accounts but even though I'm getting 550 points on one account and 400 on the other, I'm not wasting money on the junk that's been served to us recently. The Carnival pack was laughable and this pack is even worse.

    These micro transactions have actually made it less likely I'm going to pay for costume add-ons because there just isn't enough in them. Even when the old packs weren't to my taste I got them because they had a stunningly useful item in there (EG Mission TP in Mac pack, Ninja Run in MA). These bundles are so 'meh' there is no attraction. Not to mention the nightmare of keeping track of what I've purchased/unlocked.

    Whoever said fire the marketing department, I concur. Making your customers feel like they're being ripped off is not a good strategy.

    Agreed. That's a cheek to ask 400 points for that.

    The demise of vet rewards and packs in favour of points and bundles wasn't a good change. Sole aim seems to have been fleece the customer. I don't mind paying - Paragon obviously needs to make a profit - but there's a fair profit and profiteering.
  7. It would be sad if TA stopped running these; I've always enjoyed well-run raids.

    Wish I could support them more, but unfortunately, being ran at 3am just kills my chance at attendence.
  8. Do the points earned per month show as 400 on the market screen even if you are entitled to 550 because of vet status?

  11. Badging is increasingly becoming less fun for me and I can see myself giving up on it and this is entirely due to the badges on the Incarnate content.

    I used run very successful Master runs on Guardian before the Incarnate content came out. I'd organize a time beforehand either in game or on the forum and we'd generally start pretty much on time.

    The Incarnate trials - especially the newer ones - seem to require an hour or so of set up even when they're not a Badge run. Getting seven others who wanted to work together to get a badge was tricky enough let alone two or three times that number.

    Yes there *are* badge runs but they're not as frequent as the normal TF Mo's and with a higher 'standing around' quota and less likely to succeed.

    I really don't think that badges on the Incarnate Trials have been thought through very well.

    I really would like to see an updated build for the mind/ff, please. I've been fiddling with my own mind/ff for 18 months and it would be great to see how you've slotted.

  15. I miss the snake missions at low level too.

    The mission where you get to save the Arachonos guys and they help you was what hooked me. Sad to think my new chars can only do it later through Oro.
  16. This is a completely useless section. If you want build advice, the best place is the AT forum. Sifting though a mix of ATs in this sub isn't something I would bother doing.

  21. The build I settled on for my Fire/Dark Corr was based on Ranged defence and so far I have been very happy with the results.

    I do agree that with any char without mez prot; a row of breakfrees is a good plan.
