Ok my friend is cooking dinner early (IE NOW) and I should have eaten by 5pm. Great idea on the pre-patching. I am sat on the Server Status page but updating now didn't occur to me. It's applying as I type this.

Great run that, really enjoyed it.
I never worked out how to embed images reliably (I think the little mountains in the edit window but I could be wrong).

Hehe. To be fair, if I know there's a stoner coming (one which isn't uber +run slotted), I will try and ensure a SB'er is around for them. Mainly because otherwise I know most teams will run past them which defeats the object of the tank being there.

I street sweep at low levels but to do it to 50; incredible. -
The problem with Shadow Fall are 1) Idiot team mates, 2) Idiot NPCs and 3) Idiots in Rikti Events. Only one of three is important.
1) I run Shadow Fall perma when I'm in a mission and travelling around. Great stealth and nice bonuses to resistance (and a little def). No reason for it to be off in a mission unless ...
2) Some NPCs escort hostages can't see through it and need it turned off so you can get the dumb rear to the objective.
3) I have been whined at to turn it off during Rikti Events because "It prevents heavies". This is nonsense and why I keep this post bookmarked.

Don't know how much of this is useful but when I look at the LGs I look for:
First, foremost and above all: people who know their characters, and will follow instructions.
Then I look for;
A) At least two taunting tanks. They can pull aggro and do it from a distance. When I'm tanking if I see health going down, I target that person and taunt. (If I can't immediately see who is hitting them.) Also if one tank is above the aggro cap, at least there is still aggro-collection from tank two. With the Reichs/AVs in the final mission you might want three tanks. (Two for Reichs and one for the AV. When Jbad went down and Reichs was loose that was a scary moment.)
B) Mez removal - CM/ID/Clarity/the other one I forget. Arachnos are much like Rikti for mezzing. That can get you dead fast. As I know the last LG run where Hami wapped me. Stun, can't retreat, dead. Empathy is lovely because of Fort/Auras etc.
C) Debuffs - rad/dark anything nasty like that and preferably two. I'd like to see at least three on that run next time.
D) Buffs - I like kin because of FS, I don't give a stuff about SB. If you don't have a dark with HT or Twilight grasp then the -regen from transfusion is handy. FS will be less use to you against Reich so you may prefer a rad or dark.
Heals come under buffs. If you have a kin you have melee covered and if you have a rad or dark (unless it's my rad) you have range covered.
E) Shields - If they are available, I'll take them.
You are obviously going to need DPS with the idiotic amount of health Reichs has.
This will get me shot but; I'm not fond of blasters/scrappers on the MoLGs. I'd rather have other ATs.
Nor am I fond of SB/SSing teams. They tend to split up and that gets people killed. Not thrilled with vent-usage either.
That run specifically:
A) There wasn't any dumb member of the team but I didn't feel it gel'd well. Probably because quite a few of us don't know that TF too well. That just takes time.
B) Secondly, there was a fair bit of scatter. I play with the map open and the mission with the portals then Unbeatable Reichsman was ... sorry ... a mess. You had people trying to just get the portals, a tank then going to help them leaving the rest of the team to deal with aggro.
If something can be stealthed safely then fine, but we all need to know that's going to happen in advance and we all need to be safe (stealther and rest of the team).
I suggest on that mission, either we all stick together or one tank gets the portals while the rest of the team stick together near the exit. When Reich spawns a tank can get his aggro. This will depend if a solo tank can hold his aggro. Not beat him of course.
C) Not enough clarity of instructions. Or listening to them. Ok yes some of this is 'feel your way' (my early MoLGs were like a discussion group) but the instance of the tunnel is a perfect example.
I suggested the tanks pull into that tunnel after the first restart. We still had people in that tunnel (rather than in the room and out of line of sight) on the second run. Where people died. Again. And the same on the third run.
That is a horrible room entrance. But if the team is out of line of sight and the tanks taunt a few into the bottleneck it should go much more smoothly. Conversely because it IS a bottleneck if you have squishies there they are going to die.The tanks have to hold the line and they can't do that if you have eight people crowded in there.
Let the tanks taunt, get aggro then chuck a fireball or something at the mob.
Yes I am awkward about this; follow the instructions. Or provide a better idea if you don't want to do that. But don't just do your own thing and wait for the death.
D) Reichsman took far too long. Not enough debuffage.
I hate to admit it, but you may be better off without the 2nd blaster or scrapper on the team. My theory is that end nuke Reichs did crucified a fair few of the team. Well if you don't have melee chars then they aren't going to have to take that on.
And that probably killed my chance of getting MoKhan on my blaster on the next run. But it's the truth. She doesn't have MoLG either because I keep alting off her to get another char of mine which is more useful to the run.
Conclusion:
The above probably sounds like it was an awful run. It wasn't. It was a decent run with good people. But we need polish to smooth it out. Hope the above helps. If not, I look forward to /gignore. -

That gets us firepower, at least three holds (Zappy has two), some -regen from dark and some nice debuffs plus at least three lots of healing.
No Fulcrum Shift but I was playing with team combo's last night and I think the above works best.

I did say I'd do a Dr Q on Saturday so depending on a) what day you go for and b) if I can face looking at the Shard, I might join. I wouldn't stick me down as anything more firm than an alt right now but .. maybe.*

Ok I'm fiddling with Blac's, Celtic's and Blood's characters. I want to make sure we have enough debuffs and we have some form of mez removal such as ID/CM/Clarity or the other one I forget a lot. And holds.
Armeros, how many holds does your D3 have?
Celtic, what flavour is your Emp defender? Does your emp/kin have CM/ID?
Hopefully I'll stick an updated rosta up tonight.

Kitsune Knight, as I said in my initial post, *I suspected* more slots were the reason. You've probably gathered that both my monitors are widescreen; so I cannot see the lack of extra spaces on a standard monitor. What I did see was a change on MY monitors which seemed to allow for extra slotting. Thank you for the explanation.
However, those screenshots actually confirm what I said; the numbers are more difficult to read now. -

As to facts: the enhancement screen changes are not good ones.
I suspect the changes are due to the upcoming Incarnate system. Possibly the necessity to allow for extra slots in each power which has resulted in the pre i17 slot spacing being changed and from there the enhancement level font being reduced.
Whether a Dev can read it at 2pm on a Tuesday doesn't interest me. Whether *I* can read it at midnight *easily* is important to me. I don't want to have to squint at my monitors. I'm running two relatively new Samsungs at 1680 x 1050, I've had an eye test recently, my monitors are clean and I find the numbers hard to read. -
If you're on Vista do you need to be in admin mode?

The first run we did in this thread was the easiest of the four Mo's I've got during this thread. So I'd like to replicate a team as close to that as possible.
