Except that the link you provided shows +0.67 Knockback, which is Knockdown, not Knockback.

The link I provided shows +0.67 knockback.<----EoS.

Its not knockdown.

[/ QUOTE ]

Knockback less than Mag 1.0 is Knockdown.

For example. Golden Dragonfly. Any argument that that the in game effect of that power is Knockdown? Notice the magnitude of Knockback in the power description.

Try something like that (although I am at work and can't test it):

/bind f beginchat /send "Cold Front" [$name ($level)]

[/ QUOTE ]

Yep, more or less.

/bind <key> "beginchat /send "Cold Front" [$name, $level] "

Notice the trailing space before the closing of the final quotes. that means you hit the bound key, and then just start typing.

Personally I use numpad keys for may chat channels. 0 for Team chat, 1 for my usual Global channel, and 2 for Cold Front.

web page

Against higher scaled mobs the knock back distance can be reduced to becoming knockdown.

[/ QUOTE ]

Except that the link you provided shows +0.67 Knockback, which is Knockdown, not Knockback.

As a comparison, for a power that is most definitely Knockback, notice the +18.694 Knockback.

Okay, as I said earlier, the Trapeprs will be meeting this weekend, I hope. Saturday the 21st (not the 23rd as I said earlier), starting from 3pm.

What exactly is on the cards depends on how many can make it. Ideally it would be great to do a TF - another crack at the LGTF especially.

Let me know if you can make that date or not.

[/ QUOTE ]

Can probably make it.

Although personally, I'd like to take Toybox through the ITF
5. [ QUOTE ]
'Twas epic. We were indestructable. Except for that one time when I ran off on my own to pick a fight with a blood widow but some things are best forgotten.

[/ QUOTE ]

We weren't quite indestructible.... There was a near team wipe in the sewers when we got aggro from everywhere at once, but we recovered due to a few people running like scared little girls when it started going south (guilty as charged yeronner ), and Blap Zap choosing that point to level and get the new mini-MoG buff. That combined with pulling the remaining aggro through a choke opint meant we got it back under control.

[ QUOTE ]
Don't think there's any harm in giving people a little homework - if we all arrive at roughly the same level and ready to do the same mish, it keeps the teams fluid and adaptable instead of pidgeonholing you into specific groups. It also means that if you have to drop out of the theme night your character might actually have a viable contact to get a mish from. Although Azuria is still waiting for me to call about those 10 hellions....

[/ QUOTE ]

Nah, homework's not really appropriate for this thing. It's not supposed to be serious in the slightest.

I was just mentioning options that are open, and what I plan on doing for next time, since I seem to be a regular team lead. Everyone else can just turn up and change the local microclimate if they want. It makes the evening flow a little easier if you're not constantly faffing around with radio missions, and can instead just drag the team into a Safeguard before moving on with other things.

[ QUOTE ]
The extra cossie slot should be do-able. The Tsoo in Steel around the tailor are usually 15-16. If we go in all guns blazing at about 21, there'll be zero effort required and a bare minimum of experience picked up. Think of it as a test of leadership - can you keep your team together and focussed when faced with the awesome power of a new pair of snow-themed pants?

[/ QUOTE ]

As Echo says, it may be worth holding off on the mass Tsoo Cull in Steel Canyon until absolutely everyone's at level 20. I was forgetting that my team was not necessarily an accurate indicator of where everyone else is at.
6. Another decent week.

Skyway SG, Jim Temblor and Penelope Yin's arcs done.

I hit level 20.5, which means Aerial got Phantom Army and Stamina (Huzzah!), and I think everyone else on my team got to level 20 also.

Next week we've got options. (all options are assuming level 20)

[*]Striga part 1. (Wedding Band, and it's Striga, You've GOT to do Striga )
[*]Faultline Part 2. (Ourobouros Portal access, Arachnos Disguise temp power, Lots of AV's to smack silly.)
[*]Cape Mission.
[*]First Additional Costume Slot street hunt (Tsoo).
I plan on doing all the running around for the Cape mission solo before next week, just leaving the actual ganking of the Lost in the Mausoleum to be done.

I'll also debt cap myself and drag an unexemped level 50 into some radio missions along with me so I can get most of the progress on the Steel Canyon Safeguard done without me getting any xp. I'll leave the last radio mission and picking up the Safeguard until I'm actually 21, since picking a safeguard at 20 just gives you the Skyway one again.

Of course, for those who fancy eventually hitting 50 in the cape mission, which is always entertaining, not taking the cape mission is a viable option too

Anyway, enough rambling. Another good evening. See you lot around and about.
7. <regular Sunday evening reminder>

Tomorrow evening, 7pm.

At or near Mirror Spirit, in Faultline.

Skyway Safeguard, Faultline Arcs, buckets of AVs and xp.
8. Canine

Your Tankers...

Ice Armour/Ice Melee/Arctic Mastery lvl 50.
Stone Armour/Fire Melee/Energy mastery lvl 50.
9. Katana/Regeneration/Body Mastery lvl 50. (my original toon.)
Dual Blades/Willpower/Body Mastery lvl 50.
10. Dark Miasma/Dark Blast/Dark Mastery lvl 50.
11. Fire Control/Force Field/Primal Forces lvl 50.
Illusion/Storm lvl 16. (Cold/Storm Team toon)
12. Canine

Your Blasters...

Archery/Energy Manipulation/Electrical Mastery lvl 50.
13. [ QUOTE ]
I don't mind leading the third team as Ms de Wynter and have no real qualms about who comes with me for the ride.

I have Skyway Safey set up in Faultline, so can do that, then start the arc.

I'd advise anyone doing Faultline to pick the missions along with the usual mission owner so you can follow the arc and get the clues* that will unlock Ouroboros for your toon**.

*It's only Agent G's clue that counts for Ouroboros, but its a good set of arcs, so might as well follow the tale together.

**Of course someone could just open a portal for you. :P

[/ QUOTE ]

***Of course, you'll only be allowed in at level 25.

****And it's worth following the arc for the huge Story Arc completion bonus, too
14. [ QUOTE ]
Though Protector Bots still get stuck regularly even on flat ground, and the /traps FF Generator still occasionally "gets lost" temporarily when following you (thus you lose your mez protection...)

[/ QUOTE ]

From what I've read on the US boards, it appears that the Protector bots aren't getting stuck on the ground. They're getting stuck on their Seeker Drones.

At work atm, so can't go digging for info/links, but from what I recall, the seekers may be blocking pet movement, even after they've got foom, hence why recall works, since you yank the bot off the seeker drone 'obstruction'
15. [ QUOTE ]
So far, this has been tremendous fun. Thanks to those that are organising it .

[/ QUOTE ]

And speaking of organising it....

Going to need some volunteers for team leads next week.

I'll take one, as usual. I think Captain Snowspeed may well take another, but that leaves a third team needed, on recent turnout.

Other than that, 'organising' may be too strong a word. All that's decided is a general thrust for the evening, then the lunatics are released.

Oh, and we'll start mixing up the team rosters next week. Try to stop 'cliques' forming.
16. Average level of my team at the end of this evening is at or about level 16.

And we outlevelled Atta/the CoT Trial too

Serves us right for running Frostfire on Rugged, I suppose...

Another good night.

Herostats is reporting that I made 55.44 bars of xp. Which is nice. Shame it'll slow down a little from here on in.

Got The Stamina pre-reqs sorted, and Freezing Rain, so I'm pretty happy atm.

No travel power yet, but that's nothing new for me these days.

Well, next week means Skyway Safeguard, and Faultline.

Should be.... interesting, as the more chaotic powers in Storm and Cold Dom should be rearing their heads.

Later all.
17. <pokes thread with a stick>

Hmm, seems to be sleeping.

<Billy Cotton> WAKEY WAKEY! </Billy Cotton>

<ahem>

Remember folks, 7pm tomorrow evening. More mayhem and faceplanting. It doesn't matter much whether (See the clever pun there? No? Neither did I...) it's us or the Outcasts faceplanting, so long as there's some happening.

So, tomorrow evening.

[*] Frostfire.
[*] Kings Row Safeguard.
[*] Tearing even more parts of the Hollows apart.
19. Progress report.

Aerial Deceiver and team.

Average level at close of play - 10.5(ish).

Team consisted of:

Aerial Deceiver (controller)
Abyssal Chill (tank)
Cryo-Genix (defender)
Frozen Phenom (defender)
Majikman (controller)
Mis Freeze (blaster)

Not a bad nights play, and the trail of carnage through the sewers was madness
20. [ QUOTE ]
Today's the day!! And nobody has posted. All ready for some Icy chaos?

[/ QUOTE ]

Tried to post a reminder in the thread from work. Something somewhere threw a fit and refused to let me post...
21. [ QUOTE ]
Heya,

Major Misery is back after 10 month.

Sorry that I left without prior notice, but I had some severe personal problems at that time.
It's all sorted now, so I can play again .

I would like to join you this evening, if you don't plan on playing level restricted content (still at level 32...).

[/ QUOTE ]

Regular Trapper Mondays are unfortunately finished.

Last week was, as Echo put it, the 'Exciting season finale', this week a new blue side season of ice and storm begins.
22. [ QUOTE ]
Great idea Alphane!

Actually after checking my main, I can front the 1 million prize no worries, but if people want to donate even more to the winning pot that would be cool too!

[/ QUOTE ]

Nice idea, but I'll be keeping my toons current costume, since I quite like it personally, and as Echo knows, I don't change costumes very often
23. Well, since I've been muscling in on the Trappers for the past few weeks, thought I'd drop in and say thanks, and also, whatever members of your lunatic crew may be online on Sunday evening at round about 7pm are cordially invited to the occasion of Boreal, Azomas and Pompeii hitting 50

We're half a bar off, so it shouldn't take too long.
24. Had a thought earlier, and put in in place on Aerial.

Nowadays, most people use Global Friends for tracking who's online and playing which alt.

This leaves the good old fashioned Server Friends list languishing.

Now. Since we're not all going to be in one SG, it struck me that using the Server Friends list as a surrogate SG list would be viable.

So, I've been through this thread and added all the toon names that I've found to the list.

And no, they don't need to be online in order to be added, just use /friend <name>

Your Mileage may vary.
25. [ QUOTE ]
Does that include the Darkwings board, Canine?

That post is too old to edit now, I'll add Lifey's name in the next roster update.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes. That includes our boards, too.

He doesn't even read the US dev tracker, which takes all of 5 minutes, usually.
