This is not a guide...a guide is a post where you explain what the sets can do, information sbout each power, strategies, etc. This is a build, where you choose what powers to get at each level. This should be in the Blaster forum with a thread like "How is my Fire/Energy Build?"
-
I have decided to write another guide that I will begin work on soon that is very well needed- Etiquette of forming teams, recruiting teammates, and searching to join a team.
-
The last sentence of DarkDominion's post basically explains the point of the bind, if you don't use the info part of the bind- Don't take the time clicking tab and the name of the channel just to say one little thing, just hit a button! Now you can't say that's not convenient.
-
Nice guide, but your info on Infenro isnt too good. If the Corr version has the same numbers as the blaster version, I can kill +2 Lts. pretty easy without insp.
-
I was gonna say Paragonwiki, but i wasnt sure if it has it
-
Yay, I feel special. Remember if you see people on any of your channels trying to figure out how to do this, send 'em to this thread =).
-
Just a question...im newer to writing guides, so im wondering- will my guide get on the list when the writer of the thread gets to it? Or is that not the purpose of posting here?
-
Well, im glad people are liking my guide. Im gonna be writing a FIre/Ice Blaster guide when Im done training my controller, so keep an eye out for that =D
-
If you can't find it in the list of Guide to Guides, probably doesn't exist.

My guide to making your info appear next to your name in channel chat
yes, long title, shorter on the thread. Couldn't think of a good way to shorten it. Most likely good under binds? You decide.

The link to this is broken.

thanks for pointing that out
Found the problem, use this link. -
The binds are just used for conveiency. Yes, I made that word up. If it does exist, I spelled it wrong. I try not to use the bind all the time, just when I need it. But it is so convenient to just hit a button and everyone knows who you are.
I will add into the guide that You can also use this bind to make it so you don't have to hit tab, channel name, then type. And not have the info there. Thanks for the idea Kensei.
Edit:Im having a repeated problem. I can't edit the first post. Any ideas? -
Wow, over 150 views and no posts? I know people are using it, but could I get a good job Camo =P

He woke up days later, not a clue as to what happened between the invasion and him waking up. Because of this, his body influenced him to flee out of the hospital and back to city hall. While flying, he suddenly came back to the present in his mind, and realized the city was destroyed.

Name: The World Liberty Brigade
Recruiting Officers: @Camo Fire, @Citizen Steel
To join: Send an ingame message to @Camo Fire, me. I am on alot, so I will get it pretty quick. If I am not online, Just wait, or also send a message to @Citizen Steel.
Description: We are a smaller, tight knit SG that isn't all about business. We like to have fun when there are others on, which is a good amount of the time. We repel alot of members, since they are looking for the large, active SGs that clog your chat. We are not one of them. We have a large base that is steadily growing and friendly members, along with a great coalation. -
I have talked to some people using this guide, which I am happy about. I just want to remind everyone that if you have any questions or comments about this guide, message me ingame at @Camo Fire or post here.

On a few channels I belong to, there is alot of people asking how to make your name appear each time you talk on the channel. I decided to help others who have this problem by posting how to. This is done in 2 ways, a bind or a macro. Here is the bind I use, and remember LBX IS THE CHANNEL IM USING THIS ON, NOT SOMTHING YOU PUT IN EVERY BIND. Enter the channel you want to say your info on in the "", NOT LBx. This goes for all the binds and macros I say on this page.
/bind t beginchat /send "LBx" [$name - $level $archetype]
This makes it so that when I press t and type and hit enter, it will look like this in LBx chat:
Camo Fire: [Camo Fire - 50 Blaster] My Chat
Now, im sure some of you are wondering, what does the $archetype, $name, $level, etc. mean? Well, if you type $archetype and click enter into a chat, it will automatically be replaced with what archetype you are. Here are some $ commands you can use-
$name
$archetype
$level
$origin
$target(displays name of your target)
Now, let's say you want to speak into a channel the way I explained earlier with a macro. This makes a button in your power tray that acts the same way as a bind. Here is the macro version of my bind I said earlier-
/macro LBx beginchat /send "LBx" [$name - $level $archetype]
This will make a gray button in my power tray appear that says LBx on it. When you click it, it will do the same exact thing that would happen if I hit the button for my bind.
Now what if you dont want to just have your name, archetype, level, origin, etc. in it?
In the bind and macro, where you see [$name - $level $archetype] you can instead put anything you want in there, which will apeear in the chat. The $name $Level and $archetype was just an example of what I use.
These binds and macros will also work for any chat. A
Sorry for any confusion in this guide, I will try to revise it to make it easier to understand. If you have any questions, post here, or message me ingame at @Camo Fire. -
I haven't seen any problems of my own, but my friends have been reporting duplicated items that have been placed in the Consignment Houses, and some losing items or influence/infamy.
-
Well, seems the main point of my guide was "thrown out the window". The main purpose was to describe the powers with absolutely no reference to any secondaries. I'm gonna redo the majority of it to make it much, much longer with a little different information. I'll work on it when I have time.
-
Once I can get this stupid edit working, I'm going to change the info for Rain of Fire. And also, I meant for this guide to not touch upon any seocndary information.
-
I am having some problems...It won't let me edit the first post. I'll try again later to edit the Rain of Fire description.
-
I'll edit the Rain of Fire info when I get a chance later..thanks for giving some info on it, I've always had problems getting it to work efficiently.
