Message read and understood!
Am up for a regular raid day - but as pointed out, KOTH is scheduled for Sunday. Depends when you are looking to do it. KOTH is 8.30pm iirc. If people are disciplined enough to turn up at the right time we could do the raid at 7.00pm.
However we do it, pick a regular day & time slot and stick to it, that way it becomes part of a schedule. We could even start to have a weekly OotCS planner so people can see what's coming up. The trick is, getting them to read it

A tank would have been handy FB. Them nasty villains kept picking on us
As to debt, did anyone incur any? I know Tridento didn't (died 8 times).

Am up for it, Friday or Saturday - all that has been confirmed so far is that Saturday is the 15th. Does this mean the event is taking place on Saturday, or Friday the 14th?

Was also funny how a vast majority of villains forgot their raid deploy disrupter pylons
[/ QUOTE ]
To be fair, in the heat of the battle such things were overlooked. I must admit that on the heroes side I don't think any of us had thought about the hero equivalent pylons. Our main focus was getting the villains out of the base.
That said I found the raid interesting and it does throw up a few pointers for future raids.
The team raiding / defending should meet up in the same zone before entering the base. Ideally the zone where the hospital is closest to the base portal. This became obvious when the heroes lost control of the medical suite and had to use the hospital to res. We were scattered all over Paragon and that made it harder to co-ordinate entry once the villains had set up at the entry portal.
Along the lines of above, another medical room is a must for raids. Maybe at the end of a long corridor with lots of base defence in place. It was a bit unfortunate that the villain spawn point was quite close to the hero medical facilities, that's where another option would have been handy. The two medical rooms and entry portal should be spaced as far from each other as possible.
Yes, people moaned about spawn killing, but it will happen. Better that it happens within these test runs so we can develop strategies to cope. As frustrating as it can be, use it as an opportunity to work out ways of overcoming it. Phasing before entry, co-ordinated entry, popping your uber powers before entry (going to hospital resets them all - was great for Tridento's Unstoppable / Conserve Power / Dull Pain), now's the chance to try it in a battle where SG pride isn't at risk.
At the end of the day, the heroes still managed to win! But as MCX pointed out, more due to villains forgetting to pack their full "away kit". Another thing to be remembered for future raids.
Definitely count me in for the next one, and I'll try and develop a meaner streak - still can't believe I said to the team "I don't think we should be spawn killing" early on in the raid.
Time to earn more prestige!

As my villains are still in their infancy I'll represent the fight against evil. Probably with Robo Medic as he is best fit for the range in question.
The defiant one of the family. -
Okay, from what I've picked up with Robo Medic I'd recommend the following:
Heal Other: 3 x heals / 3 x recharge reduction (maybe 2 with 1 range)
Heal All: 3 x heals / 3 x recharge reduction
Absorb Pain: As this is for pure panic mode (when a team mate redlines) I tend to only have 1 x heal, 1 x recharge reduction, 1 x range - the heal with this is quite powerful and probably does not need further enhancing.
Clear Mind: 1 x recharge reduction
Fortitude: 2 x defence / 2 x To Hit / 2 x recharge
Resurrect: 1 x recharge
Recovery Aura: 3 x End Mod / 3 x Recharge
Regen Aura: 3 x Heal / 3 x Recharge
Adrenalin Boost: 2 x End Mod / 2 x Heal / 2 x Recharge (maybe 1 x Heal / 3 x Recharge as you should be able to keep the recipient healthy)
Hasten - 3 x Recharge
Stamina - 3 x End mod
Basically slotting anything with more than 3 SO's is a waste of slotting, and the slots you save can be better used elsewhere.
I can't comment on the Psy side of things as Robo has Rad as his secondary.
I hope this helps somewhat
The defiant one of the family. -
Hi Vixen!!! Welcome to the SG. Send a tell in game if you want any team mates - @Cambo. Have a couple of defenders roughly in your range.

Why do you think I run Hamidon raids on sundays?
[/ QUOTE ]
Because after his Sunday roast Hami just wants to sleep in front of the telly and can't be bothered with a mob of unruly heroes?

Have to echo Xanth's & Plight's comments. Pick a date, set a time. Those who are captain's of the teams will arrange the team as best they can - that's where their subs come in.
You will never find a date/time that suits everyone, it's just one of those things. If it becomes a regular timeslot people can try and plan their life around it (try explaining that to the wife).
As the majority of teams are SG based it's a good test of their members.
The defiant one of the family. -
Coin's comments are pretty much the same for me. Our home PC is in the same room as the tv etc, so to be talking gamespeak can be pretty annoying to those trying to watch the tv. Listening is fine though - headset!!!
The defiant one of the family. -
Again, thanks for all the comments and suggestons so far. I have now transferred 5 Tridentos to Test and will be respeccing (if that is a word) the first 3.
And I thought life would become easier on hitting 50
The defiant one of the family -
Much appreciated Everclear, I can see various versions of Tridento appearing on the test server now
Wll shout out when ingame Plight, and we'll see what we can arrange.
The defiant one of the family. -
Thanks Sin & Plight for thoughts so far.
Based on advice so far am looking to:
<ul type="square"> Drop the end-mod in Unstoppable & replace it with a recharge
Adding an extra EndRed to Temp Invul
Dropping Acrobatics
Adding a recharge to Follow Up
Dropping Spin
Add Aid Other with one slot Interrupt Reduction
Add Aid Self with 2 x Recharge, 1 x Interrupt Reduction, 1 x Heal[/list]
Have decided to keep Energy Torrent as the damage difference between it and Laser Beam Eyes doesn't seem to be a lot. And yes, the claws/invul build is an end hog, hence the EndReds everywhereLosing Spin won't effect my attack chain as I still have 6 attack powers, plus follow up.
New build would look like.....

Okay, I did threaten to do this earlier so here goes. This is the current build for Tridento, it has served me well for PvE and I am interested in getting suggestions / ideas for a PvP build....

My current attack chain goes like this...
Focus
Eviscerate (whilst on their backside after Focus)
Slash
Strike
by then an individual minion / Lt is normally done for. Follow Up, Spin, Shockwave & Energy Torrent are more mob attacks - with Shockwave & ET having the advantages of KB.
I've got all the invul powers except for Resist Elements.
As for pool powers, with plenty of toggles stamina looks to be a must. CJ & Acrobatics added to the invuls means I'm rarely held.
So, suggestions?
The defiant one of the family. -
and at long last I can post on this thread....
Please add Tridento, a claws / invulnerability scrapper with body mastery.
A rarity judging by the list (the 3rd claws/invul).
The defiant one of the family. -
...and there was me hoping to slip by quietly into the ranks of defiant's 50's. Knew I shouldn't have told Plight
Seriously, it's been a long journey (14 months / 510 hours of game time) on my first toon. Over that period of time I've teamed with sooo many people and I'd find it hard to recall a team that I didn't enjoy playing in.
Thank you to the former members of Ultimate Muscle, the first SG Tridento joined. I still see Akroma, Stoic, Roadblock, E-gen & Kiawin online.
Further thanks to E-gen for pointing me in the direction of the OotCS. The Swords SG has made the last part of the journey a real laugh and helped me view PvP in a different light (courtesy of a beating at the hands of Plight, which, despite the result, was fun).
So now I can look forward to using my respec to fine tune Tridento into a PvP force, venturing into the kheldian builds, and concentrating on my other ALTs, both heroes & villains.
Once more, thank you.
Ohhh, and apologies to Union Roleplayers - this now means my son has access to kheldians, feel free to shun him until Volt Master gets to 50

Someone called Cambo by the looks of it, and from what I've heard, he deserved it!
It's been a long time coming - 14 months - 510 hours of game time - but Tridento finally hit the 5 0 against Nemesis. Such a long journey, so many people involved on the way, thank you to you all!
Now, I need to sort out a PvP build for Tri, expect a post on this later.

We have three people interested already so you can add @Cambo (not sure which alt he will use yet), Coin and Plight Trawler for the "Order of the Cruciform Swords". No doubt the team will finish up with Aburame, Omega MCX and someone else... hmmm Meddler maybe? Just the 1st three for now though please.

....and E-gen has expressed an interest.
Just so I can co-ordinate AT's etc, can you please let me know which toons you are intending to use. This could be discussed first so that the 6 we choose work well together.
With the level range in mind I only have Tridento or Robo Medic, but it looks like the SG has a smorgasbord of toons to choose from

Okay, having been Lvl 49 for at least a week now it's time to make the dash for glory. 5.25 bubbles to go.
I will be on from 7.00pm (British time), Monday 26th June. It would be great if some SG members could get together with me and escort me through those last steps. The goal being to ding 50 asap. No need to form a list, just be there if you can!
A warning - if Australia upset the odds and defeat the Italians, you won't get any sense out of me. To be fair, some of you may not notice any difference
