And it doesn't really need saying, but if you are leaving ... Never ... I mean really never ever delete your characters :P
However glad that you decided to stay, even if we never teamed, this really is a good place to unwind and meet some nice people. -
Everyone who made it along managed to get all the badges, so this was a successful evening. Thanks to everyone who came, spawned maps and then whooped tail!!
-
I can organise this for tonight, although no villains have offered to help so far.
Next time I will be able to be on will be Monday night so sadly the weekend is out for me -
I think that we need a lowbie villain for the one set of mobs and a 25+ Villain for the other type. Hopefully someone else can provide more details than that.
-
Anyone got plans to farm these, preferably Friday evening? I'd love to bring my 50 Controller along.

Hi there, I am looking for the rescuer badge, if anyone with toons doing the Faultline arc happens to come across it I would be very pleased to exemp to do it.
It the mission:
Rescue Mr. Yin.
Contact: Penelope Yin (Faultline)
Level: 15-20 -
Callista's magic is a little different, she draws her power from the world around her. To her magic is a force which runs through everything in the universe. It is unlimited and cannot be created or destroyed. Being a creature of magic she is naturally in tune with these forces all around her. For her to create a fireball is merely a case of directing her will onto the power that flows around her to do something it otherwise wouldn't do.
From a physics point of view, with the matter/energy relationship and the uncertainty principle, your computer MAY spontaneously turn into a gerbil. It is very unlikely, but not impossible. To Callista magic is the art of making the improbable probable.
Of course she doesn't understand physics, but if she did that's what she would tell you.
She ocassionally uses scrolls or tablets to perform magic. To others, and to her these things hold some kind of mystical energy, they enable her to do magic. Similarly she has only a limited amount of powers, because that is all she believes she has. However there is more to this than she realises. If she ever worked out the truth and really believed it (and the really believing it part is the crux), then nothing would be impossible for her. The truth being that nothing is impossible if she only believes it enough. The flip side of this coin is that if she ever did try and change or channel that much energy to do something really massive, and at any point her will faltered, there wouldn't be enough bits left to leave a stain. -
I'm affraid I had the same problem, by about 40 she was starting to flag a little. I got her to 50 just because I was so close, but I never found a way to improve her and regain my enjoyment in playing her.

Yea, nicely done that man!!
-
Reminder for 8pm tonight
Operation "Get Callista the badge" -
Well done again Nicey, well won!!
-
Good god almighty!!
He's regretting his transfer already, well done guys.
Anyway welcome to defiant, look forward to teaming with you soon -
Well, only 2 people turned up to help so this didn't go ahead, is there anyone who can spare an hour to help me get the 20 I need?

Controllers were overperforming in PvP, being able to two or three shot a squishy is overperforming.

A Stalker can 2 shot a squishy ....

I agree with the containment change in PvP, it's the APP change that bugs me. They should just fix containment to respect the damage cap, make it a modifier not a multiplier.

I agree, the containment change seems fair, the APP nerf was handled really badly. -
Not to throw a stick in the works there alvan, but you could have had primal forces before and had the same benefit ... there was no need for the epics to be nerfed for you to have done that, so it's not really a valid plus.
Although it is interesting that you comment that it has caused you to do a respec to carry on playing your character. -
Well then, we are several weeks on from nerf day on live, we have all had a chance to play with our characters, what do we all think of the changes?
My experiences are that I can still solo, more slowly than before. I can't afford to make any mistakes at all, and it is hit and miss if I can take down a larger than average mob before they pop out of mez. Ok if they are only going to fire machine guns at me but it they have mez powers normally means doom. I die a lot more than I did before, this has been somewhat mitigated by the winter self res temp power, I am going to be annoyed with it when I have to keep coming back from the hospital all the time.
Endurance is now an enormous problem, once you factor in getting the debuffs up, running a shield and then firing the AoE hold/immob I have found myself with a couple of foes still to defeat and no end left. I have to wait between each mob for a recharge now. And I am unwilling to use EMP anymore as I can't recover from the drop in end.
All in all the nerfs don't work for me, it has made playing my character less fun and I have sent my petition saying so. Anyone else have any thoughts? -
Gratz to the 3 of you who managed to get the badge tonight, and to those of us (about 4 I think) who got the Mu badge. I need about 20 more TTs for the badge now so it should only take an hour, is there anyone else who wants to come along and do a few whilst I'm at it? We need 8 to spawn them.
How about tuesday 2nd at 8pm? -
Right then, tonight was the night for the next visit, 8pm again? Anyone about for this still?
-
Bye Tyl .... I believe a typical Tyl farewell would be ...
joo iz teh H4x ...
or something. -
Ok, lets try for Wednesday, failing that shall we have a fallback date after christmas to do more if needed or in case this one falls down?
How about thurs 28th as a fallback date? That should be far enough after christmas and before new year for a bit of CoH.
