generally these are to fix a mission bug or somthing. Usually they appear if you wait long enough after an "oh NOEZ! my defeat all mission has a guy who's completly stuck in the mission geometry!" petition.

They also spawn in alleyways, underneath bridges, and in parks. There are even spawn points on the ground just a few hundred feet from the tram, just past the history plaque across the street (to the left as one is exiting the tram).

[/ QUOTE ] They USED too. back in pre I1 you'd get a kill cot mission in kr and join a team that'd sit around for 20 minutes waiting for darkness, then you'd find a green explosion on a roof and go up the fire escape... it got bad enough that they finially changed it at some point.

I think boomtown is going to be a construction zone. mainly because the villians get a mission to sabatoge the reconstruction efforts.

back in the good old days we didn't have no capes or weapons? the scrappers used to be martial arts, spines, and claws?

the web grenade was horrifically broken in the early days? /dev blasters would kill +8's with just the grenade?

the origional project lead didn't get fired in bad terms. he actually thought it was for the better?

during statesmans strike (end of COV beta) the GMs were given a Lonbow Ballista's skin and an at to make a monster out of and several of the were VERY good players?

According to a prior Positron posting he is playing his Dom on the one true server, Justice.

He didn't state what server States is playing his Plant/Psi Dom on however.

Also, Positron has appeared in full glory on several servers during the Pockeet D weekend event a while back. He had to resort to appearing outside the confines of Pocket D (Void Walking IS against the rules BTW) due to the sheer number of people crowding around him. And yes, he had all his powers. That same night I recall seeing Ghost Widow, CuppaJo, Silver Mantis, and one other whose name I can't remember. All had their full complement of powers. When bringing in the Signature Heroes and characters, yes, they use the codes to bring them in, but they don't use those powers unless it is a special event. Since I didn't participate in the End of CoV Beta Event, I don't know how those heroes were played, but it was likely with toned down versions of what they have available to them.

I also recall some events on the Test Server quite a while ago (Arena Testing?) where some of the Devs participated using their Uber characters with power combinations there is no way a player could get.

That ones very much true. When I was on Jury Duty last year, the prosecutor went on a 2 minute explentation to remind the jury that "This is NOT CSI. There's not going to be precise DNA Evidence or open-and-shut stuff like on that show. This is real life. You just need 'beyond a reasonable doubt' to convict him." which he made sure to mention a number of times so that it sunk in. Luckily the entire jury was made up of reasonable people and were able to look at the case and evidence that way and didn't need reminding.
(The case was a stolen gun from a neighbor. THere was a broken window, trail of blood from the back door/window to the bedroom where the missing gun was, and the trail of blood led back to the guy's appartment, where the cop found him asleep on the couch, hand still bleeding and poorly bandaged. . . it took us all of 15 minutes to descide the guy was guilty. The judge told us after the case that we were the fasted jury to go to deliberation that she's ever had! XD)

I kinda liked the nerfs too... except the LEVEL with the agro/aoe limits... 12 is too smal... 24 or 32 is better.

18. Hurdle: 1 Enhance Jump
20. Health: 1 Heal
22. Stamina: 3 End Modification
24. Total Focus: 1 DMG, 2 ACC, 2 Reduce End
26. Stealth: 1Reduce End
28. Invincibility: 2 Defense Buff, 2 Reduce End, 2 ToHit Buff
30. Hasten: 3 Recharge
32. Energy Transfer: 2 DMG, 2ACC

That’s my build up to 40. I didn’t take any of the auto powers (Resist Elements or Resist Energies), but I am thinking about taking at least one of tem after the level cap is raised to 50. Also in Energy Melee I didn’t take Build Up, Taunt, or Stun because at this point I wanted more attacks to keep the Fury Meter up as high as possible. Another thing I did to help on this matter is use Brawl as often as it is up cause even when it misses it raises the Fury Meter.

Once again if you have any questions let me know and I will try to answer them asap.

On that note I hope this helps you out if you are planning this build. I had a whole lot of fun with this Toon and I’m looking forward to getting him to 50 as soon as they raise the level cap.

My brute is lower than yours at 25... I'd make a few little suggestions of my own... instead of taking bone smasher off the bat I'd try for Energy punch, this combined with barrage and brawl give you a nice little 1-2-3 combo that takes an ITTY BITTY amount of end so you get to fight for much much longer. While difference is negegible between the levels we took it I can't envision anything that would require Bonesmasher that early and this energy punch is a much more blue bar friendly attack

take combat jump earlier. that +def does come in handy.

triple slot health... it's actually worth it (heal like 80% or somthing)

drop stealth... your a brute for kerists sakes... why would you want to hide when you can SMASH

and this is personal preference but, with all the fast attacks why not drop hasten and grab somthing else?

on a side note I come from a blaster backround and have NEVER EVER used hasten... (then again... I was never around during the days of perma)

this is more a story thing but it seems like each of the arachnos LT's (ghost widow and the like) have a personal island.

I know that Mercy belongs to Widow and Sharkshead belongs to Mako, But I'm wondering who controls the others.

Methinks that the female bodies and souls are given to the carnies while the men are used as hosts... It keeps the COT on good terms with another VERY POWERFUL cabal of evil, and it allows Vanessa Devore to work towards her goals with minimal effort to attain subjects. (after all you don't see the Carnies trying to posses people in the streets now do you?)

Have we ever actually fought Grendel in any missions? I mean I've beaten up Frost Fyre and Atta a few times But I don't remenmber fighting grendel... so if grendel is the AV he could make his move on Peregine Island and put the trolls back on the map in the 50's.

why are the garvords the ones that are all bulky and cool and extra mutational? Ain't they just Lt's?

I'm going to have to sympathize with the team. I did my eden trial on Pinnacle and we had 2 DA scrappers... they kept the toggles running until I finially asked them to shut them off while we were waiting for more people to arrive. (10mins on, ask 15 off before we started)
