I'll not ask for your services since I'm a bit of a writer myself when I put my mind to it but I think this is a cool idea...

Anyway, I'd love to read stories about some of the characters we see around here. The one problem I have with the RP forums is that I have
no connection to anyone there, no hook to get me to read all kinds if back story or such... The one off stories I see I tend to read and enjoy... Anyway, the characters around here I already know in a sense and would love to read about them, their histories and adventures...

So anyway, good luck! Hopefully someone takes you up on it and we can see what you can do pretty soon!

Oath - saying 10 would be nice doesn't preclude CR from saying "but this rig is better than nice, it's fantastic!". In fact that would be just like him

Snow Globe - since you know and thus aren't guessing your disqualified since CR specifically asked for guesses, not facts. So there!

Can't help wondering if people actually read the thread (or even just latest few posts) or if they just see a title in jump in hoping for free artz....

Not to sound like an uncaring ******* but I'm an uncaring *******. I don't think much about what's happening on the other side of the planet and don't much care to. There are problems and issues I can see first hand and those, if any, are the ones that get my attention and possibly my aid. Like I said, all due respect to those who think more globally but I'm just more interested in things that affect me more directly... Hell, I don't even get too caring about the enviroment since I figure I'll be dead long before it reaches crisis point...

(I did mention I'm an uncaring *******, didn't I?)

still, with all that said, I will do this:

if three people from the boards here donate at least $10 dollars then I'll donate $30... So if after seeing this others step up then I will do so as well.

I won't be joining voice chat... I may end up installing whatever I need to install to listen but my comments will be typed in. It's not a money issue so much as paper thin walls, often playing while others are sleeping and all in all hating my voice and not wanting to inflict it on others

so there'll at least be one non voice user in group even if I am generally on at odd times.

Not really putting this to a poll so much as just thinking aloud

The "rooftop" hero in a dramatic pose near a gargoyle is a classic... Iconic for certain characters such as Spider-Man and Batman but definitely not restricted to them.

By no means did I mean there is anything wrong with it... I've been looking for an artist to commission that I thought would do justice to Caemgen in such a pose - I think the Demon/gargoyle together would be very cool... Plus I think it would be just wrong not to get that image done with any character it would be appropriate for because... well, it's iconic

I wish you the best of luck in this but personally the money I give to charities are to ones much closer to home. I've nothing but respect for people trying to help/save/change the world... I just personally prefer to concentrate more locally.

I'd personally be more in favor of a unified theme towards uniforms, kind of like I did with the Daybreakers - Uniform colors, uniform emblams and patterns to use and to try to stay close to an overall uniform feel...

While we do have some amazing costume designers here I think everyone has some talent towards it and for those bringing in their more established characters it would be tough to give up their look entirely.

Personal examples:
Alpha needs his armor to have powers... I suppose I could adjust colors and emblems but I couldn't switch him to tights.

Caemgen has a tough time wearing a shirt - Tough to slip one on over his wings and horns.

Fenian is a bit of a clothes horse, enjoying different costumes... But the green and orange is her symbols. She could cut back and only have a couple pieces so colored but I just could not imagine her in a blue bandana!!!


Obviously this would be easier for people using characters less near and dear to their hearts... And I'll adapt somehow to whatever is finally decided... But I just think everyone should have at least some leeway on the outfits.

I'm stuck at work til 7am eastern... So I'll be logging in somewhere about half an hour after that. No need to log in special for me though, I'm on often enough that I'll get in pretty quickly, I'm sure.

I've got darkvanessa on my dA watch - even her tamest pieces are quite saucy Not that that's a bad thing.... Been tempted to jump on one of her commission deals myself but I'm a bit afraid of what she'd do to my poor sweet innocent Fenian....
