Last one of the year and it's got to be quick!

I've got two (2) PresidentNelson (from dA http://presidentnelson.deviantart.com/) commissions to give away and I didn't clear any contest nonsense with him so I'm not going to draw this out too long and hold up his getting to work. So the prize is the commissioned art by him, coloring by J. Wade Webb (http://jwwebb.deviantart.com/) and... errr.. well, I guess that's it? For Color Commissions (which this is) you'll Receive the Orignal Art plus a Hi-res Print of the colors. This is a single character drawing, sorry but I'm not paying more so you can beat up 472 ninjas and a pirate

How to enter would probably be relevant about now...

Hmph, well... I got 3 of these for myself and I need to come up with poses for my characters for the art... So to enter suggest poses for each of my 3 characters. The two entrants I like best will get the free arts. Not saying I'll use any of the suggestions, already have a couple ideas myself, but I had to pick some way to give these out.

If you don't know my characters... Well you either probably don't deserve to win or you should pay more attention!

I may or may not spring for an additional character or two in my own commissions so feel free to use that in your entries or not as you see fit.

You're description of the pose for each character can be as detailed or as plain as you want. I would bet "Standing" won't be good enough to win but I'm not expecting a novel and good writing isn't required as long as I get what you mean.

Again, try to have an idea for each of the 3 characters in your entry...



This contest will run until it closes. If I get an email from the artist saying he needs the references NOW then it will be ending really soon... But I expect this will be up for at least 24 hours. The point is, enter quickly - There's no gaurantee you'll have time later.

Everyone is eligible to enter but the winners will be picked by me alone and will be based on whatever I feel like basing it when I decide to end the contest.

I reserve the right to use the ideas of anyone who posts here whether they are a winner or not... Mainly because I don't want someone later claiming they gave me the idea when it may be just like the one I already have in my head. Don't like it? Don't enter. *shrug*


If you win you will need to have references ready ASAP for the character you want done as well as the pose you want for them... Like I kind of mentioned, don't know how impatient the artist may be for the references so I don't want to delay too long...


And I gaurantee this will not be like the last contest where I got art for people after the fact... Only the winners are getting art. This is the last art I am buying this year. Period. Definitely. Gauranteed. Unless a couple people I really want art from suddenly open for commissions!

But seriously... I'm expecting a drought of new purchases from me after this little spree. I've said it before but sheesh, I have SO MUCH pending that it's getting hard to keep track of it all. I think instead of more art buying I'm instead going to let the pending stuff actually get done and maybe spend some cash printing off and framing a few things for my walls... But ya'all don't care about this, you all just want me to post so you can enter... Alrighty, alrighty...

Last comment: as always, I reserve the right to change, modify, strike down, create, ignore or manufacture rules at any point of the contest... and even afterwords. Any questions feel sfree to ask and I'll make up an answer that sounds reasonable once I get around to it...

Anyway, like I said, there's a definite coolness factor there... It's just that if I put that much effort into something I would want it front and center not being the secret core of all coolness

That's both very cool and... Well, a waste of time and effort?

I mean the coolness factor is huge but at the same time I cannot help but wonder if it was worth the effort. Definitely would have been super mega cool if you had gone with the clear sided comp case but since it'll hopefully never be seen (cause this comp is so great and state of the art that it'll never breakdown or need upgrades) I think the effort maybe should have gone elsewhere?

CR - did you start this detail before Pyro picked the case? Because that I would totally understand... *shrug* maybe I'm not appreciating coolness for coolness sake enough...

Heh, it's true I try to be accomodating to the artists... Maybe sometimes too much so... But at the same time I'm also very interested to see the artists interpretations of the characters. So it's a bit of a balance in getting what I want and giving the artist enough freedom to suprise me with something I didn't know I was looking for.
