Must warn you, I'm a college drop out. Plus I don't care about the badges so much as the costumes. I'm curious how a toga would look on Caemgen and the hearts pattern might be nice on Fenian - she's the only character I play that changes costumes a lot... Or at all so far.
So to large extent I won't care if I don't get them (I know, so why'm I complaining, right???)
Anyway, my global is easy to figure out: @caemgen. Though I didn't get my contest entry do e yet so I may have to dedicate this and tommorow mornings to that... Though this weekend I'll at least get the hearts pattern even if I have to team with myself to do it

Sorry all, would have like to wait longer for volunteers but the artist was just coming back to commissions after a bit of break and I wanted to get him the refs quickly so others didn't sneak in before me...
Ah well, they'll be other chances in the future, I'm sure
and CR, I'm right there with ya... I started two villians when this started but I don't really play either and they don't really feel real *shrug* maybe my evil Fenian will get some life when GR comes out... -

Either all you villians are too afraid to show your mugs or you were all tucked away in your cozy little beds like good little villians by the time I posted. *sigh* Ah well, VexXxa will be squaring off against Caemgen and the other two will just have to fight stock villians... (didn't want to keep artist waiting since he was just finishing up a piece and looking to do more...) -

It's an interesting idea but I am about the laziest **** on the planet...
Besides, if I was going to dedicate the time to something like this I would want to have creative input on story line and such, not just be a drone on the production line. But mainly, it's the lazy thing. -

If I'm a good boy I won't be in game at all tonight - I really should finish up my entry to a contest I am in. Already procrastinating by checking out the boards. But I work overnights so days off (like tonight) I am around anywhere from 10pm (eastern times these) to noon... Days I work more like 8am til noonish... -

Anyway, just reserved a couple spots with http://mykemanila.deviantart.com/ for arts... But since I'm getting 2 people in each pic I need some villians for my mains to be fighting!!
Originally I was planning on pitting them each against some in game canon hroup foes but I'm feeling too lazy to grab screenshots for references. So if you want your villian to square off against Caemgen, Alpha of Fenian post up some reference shots!! If you have a preference for who they are fighting, mention that as well...
This isn't first come first served but I will be picking who to use sometime in the night 4 hours or so... So don't delay!

Well once again Canada is taking heat for racking up the goals - I saw a couple articles lambasting the fact they won their first game 18-0...
The problem is, on the woman side of the sport, the only two competitive teams globally are the US and Canada. For either of those teams to lose against anyone other than each other would be a miracle at this point... So the question is, what are those two teams supposed to do?
As a competitor, would you want the other team to not try against you? Would you want them to stop taking shots on goal and just play keep away or something? Personally, I think that would be far more embarassing than a lopsided score.
A Mercy Rule where the game is called over once the score is lopsided by X goals? Well then the teams would be lambasted if they got the game called too early... Plus it would be very hard to sell tickets to a game that may last only 5 or 10 minutes. Not to mention that this would neccessitate changing rules on tie breakers and changing record books... or at least denying some people a real chance to get into the record books...
Give the other teams time to grow and exand and get a real hate on... Eventually when one finally breaks through and beats the US or Canada it'll be their own Miracle on Ice.... -
CR - Those were pretty much my takes on each exactly The Caemgen pic actually isn't bad... But it doesn't really depict Caemgen. For her first commissions though, not too bad.
Also, I uploaded the wrong Alpha version. She had tightened up the left edge a bit - Here's the final version:

Already told Eddy this when I first saw the colored version of the art Wassy did of Fenian but I just want to say again - He does an absolutely fantastic job of adapting his colors to the line artists style.
When I was first asking him to do my Tim Kelly pieces (above a bit) I was worried how they would turn out - not because I didn't have faith in Eddy but because TK's style is kind of unique and just any old coloring job (even a good one) could easily erase that uniqueness... Once I saw Eddy's colors on the first one though, all fears were eased...
Now, once again, I think Eddy did a fabulous job of coloring another artists work while maintaining the style and uniqueness of that artist.

Just got the last of the headshots from Zeamay http://zeamay.deviantart.com/ and while the quality of the three varies a bit, I must say I'm glad I was the first to hire this gal She is just beginning and it shows but I think given time she'll end up being rather good and having a style all her own... Overall, must say I'm most pleased with the Fenian pic.
I actually really, really like the Fenian pic... It's not the best art I have of Fenian but I think it really captures her personality in a way the other arts just haven't yet... -

I love the angle of the view here... I usually tend to love odd perspectives or major use of foreshortening or anything of the kind. Though I have next to none of my own arts like that... Hmmm, something to work on...
Anyway, great art and a definite + to my watch list!!
The green color does look awesome... But hey, if it doesn't fit your character it doesn't. *shrug* Still looks awesome in black
