Looks like I am bowing out.
I had a pic about halfway done of Alice sitting in front of a Circle of Thorns portal and reaching out to touch it curiously which was actually quite passable (for me, anyway) but then I started trying to add some background to it... It wasn't going well so I set it aside to get back to later. Long story short: I cleaned up/rearrainged my computer room on Sunday... Sunday night I put out the trash... And now I cannot find it.
If I do happen to find the damn thing I'll scan it in immediately so I at least have some entry but bleh... I am not starting over from scratch when I know I have no chance in this competition anyway. *shrug*
So all, looks like you probably have another safe month if you get your entries in on time!! -

. And yeah, I think Fen came out hotter in the group shot. I think perhaps her face is a tad too wide in her solo one...

My combination geek/nerd/freak/average Joe thing would be shattered if I became cool anyways and I'm too darn old to be adapting to a whole new lifestyle...
So if having DN art makes you cool then thank goodness the man is too busy for rabble like me .. -

New arts rolling in...!!
First off, if you somehow missed it, check out Swanzies Adventures in Color thread (page 8) - He, as usual, did an amazing job for me coloring Clap-san's lines!! I'm always amazed at how seamlessly he slips his colors into whichever style of art he is working with to make great new art without losing the flavor of the original...
Secondly, new stuff from Jirogam - He put his own spin on my characters, taking some liberties with stuff like the size of shoulder pads and such, but I think the results are pretty darn cool...

All in all though, I'm alright with CR not opening for commissions.
Don't get me wrong, I have thought he could since I first saw his arts... But I get that he makes his money by building comps and such and that eats up most of his time like jobs are apt to do. Since I doubt he's likely to give up steady computer jobs for cluctuating commission work, I would understand if he never opened for commissions...
And there's a plus side... If he doesn't open for commissions, it means FREE ARTS!!! Sure, we may not get to have any (or at least much) say on what and how and when etc... But I don't see CR just shutting off the tap and ending the flow of arts entirely.
On the downside is that we get little say and even less influence on how often...

Errr, I honestly can't say you deserve it, what with not being on the inside, knowing who does what, etc etc etc... But you have your own thread in the Screenshots & Fan Creations forum and that's a good enough reason for me!!
And I would just like to point one thing out... You started this thread under 5 months ago and the S&FC Bump already got you a promotion... Don't go letting it go to your head and start thinking our power and influence only works one way... Let the thread die and... well... I would just suggest you don't!

I would suggest Pyro over Natrix... Natrix is hot (and kinky looking!) and all but I think Pyro would benefit more from the CR touch than Natrix - The black mask just seems to me to not be the best use of his skillz. *shrug*

Red - Actually there was 10+ hours between original post and the meet time, far as I can tell. But even so, announcing at 2am for a 1pm thing... Those who see it right away are likely sleeping, many who wake up to see it are off to work or school, etc etc...
Lunar - Perhaps give at least 24 hours notice next time? Also, if you didn't this time, it would probably help to post in the particular servers forum as well... -
