  1. Welcome back... Did you bring beer??
  2. Awesome additions to your collection
  3. Well done. The look alike without totally looking like the same character or twins or such.
  4. Maybe I'm just lazy but I'm not running to check the exchange rate everytime I want to see if I want to purchase art or not. I go by what I think the exchange rate is (and I am probably way off) and go from there. I may be thinking some Euro priced art is way more than it really is and skipping it... But I am just that darn lazy.

Though most people really are not as lazy as I am. You can tell that by how things do occasionally get done. Take the US Congress for example. If they were all as lazy as me they would never accomplish anything!

    errr, wait. Bad example.

But yeah, I'd suggest you use the currency you think most costumers will use. Besides, receiving odd numbers isn't as bad as sending them After all, any money in is good money!!
  6. Either advertise the price in Euro's or make the us dollar amounts a little prettier: 10, 15 and 25. It is one thing to have paypal automatically convert my money to Euro's for me and tell me how much real money I am sending :P but I definitely wouldn't want to be bothered paying $23.26. Mind you it wouldn't put me off of getting a commission from someone but *shrug*

As for actual dollar amounts on this forum, I always thought the rule (written or just understood) was that so long as specific prices weren't used, all was good.

Also... this forum has been slow for quite a while now so I wouldn't be expecting a dozen responses in a week, nonetheless in a day!

Now that gaming is "cool", when actors or rappers go on about how huge gamers they are for playing Halo a couple of times or having run a raid in WoW, I can understand real geeks and gamers who who cringe at that. Like I said before, most are as legitimate as Vanilla Ice's street cred..
And this is exactly why I find it so funny. You weren't cool enough so you got crap... Now when you decide others aren't cool enough you give them crap. The circle of life wins out over being a better person. I find it amusing.

Anyway, I'm sure you have justifications and reasons why your bullying isn't as bad as what you put up with but *shrug* I'm not a gamer by your definition so whatever.
  8. Anything by Tarantino is worth a look see... I do not know original movie at all but this seems like a fun flick to see just for the mindless violence
  9. Break the law? Nick Fury IS the law!
  10. There is just something so absurdly funny about geeks being so judgemental...

As for the journalist - I buy they may have been drunk. I do not buy them not knowing how Twitter works. I mean seriously? A contributor to a gaming site being so clueless about Twitter? I find that hard to believe.
  11. Saw it. Enjoyed it. Wasn't wowed by it.

If you like this type of movie, this is a good flick to see when there's nothing else really drawing you in. But by the same token, I wouldn't have felt bad if I had waited for it on Netflix.

Very awesome... And the style really adds to the feeling of the overall scene. Grats!
  13. Wouldn't throwing ponies be mean though?

    Not that I mind :P
  14. Thanks all!

For the most part, spent a quiet day at home doing nothing much like I wanted Did get dragged out to see that there Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter movie...

But hey, it's over know... I can go back to pretending I am an unaging immortal for another year! :P
  15. Am I the only one who wants to hunt down and throw into the abyss all those responsible for this pony nonsense??
  16. Woohoo!!

    Thanks!!

Though my day is planned to be pretty boring. Nice and quiet, in a good and enjoyable way

The art is looking pretty awesome so far... But don't you dare go all digital all the time! Your pencils are way too awesome for that!

It's been my experience that once there is free artwork for doing nothing, people come out of the woodwork.

Am I the only one confused?
  21. Oh shush, I love the busts as they are 1) I am far less picky than CR anyway and B) I actually enjoy the unique spin each artist puts on things.
  22. The nose is overlooked by many, many artists... And since it's not something I was picky about when I first started getting out, there is so many examples of him with a wrong nose I am reluctant to become picky about it.

As for the horns... They're tough to get right. Even when I have been picky and had artists try several times to get it right, very few can. So on this details it boils down to do I either want to put up for horns which are incorrect or just not get arts of him done... Heck, even on the model sheet they are not perfect and we really discussed them at length for that and still couldn't get them spot on in all the shots. *shrug*

As for fixing pieces... I wouldn't mind but yeah, the individual artists would have to be asked :P But there's a lot of arts no longer in my gallery... I went through a huge purge recently and took out probably 2/3rds of the art. Was feeling bored and there was a plan to reorganize or something... eventually that all may get back in... or not. *shrug*
  23. That is a very cool style... You should definitely do more of that!

It's a difficulty that arises when the protagonists are more-or-less anti-villians. They're bad guys with some redeaming qualities, which does make them more "real" than paper-cut bad guys which is why the writing is so good.

See, I think my biggest problem is that they started too big on the show. The problems and threats were too big and now each season they have to try to top them. I myself would enjoy if they spent a lot more time on more realistic day to day outlaw biker stuff... Not like grocery shopping and stuff, but they had those probies hanging around and I would have liked to have seen that dynamic explored. Show us the kind of stuff they make the probies do to earn their cuts and such, not just have them standing around as handy bodies to do lookout duty or such. Go more in depth on what the life is like on the other old ladies, not just the two which are main characters...

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't want that to be the main focus... But I think it's very rich material to be delved into which is all but ignored. I just think if they explored that kind of thing a bit more (and done so from the start) they wouldn't have to be sneaking into foreign countries and taking on Mexican cartels just to out do the previous season.
