Pyro - That is awesome... Love the way he seems to be pushing out from the button. Very, very cool.
As for the flag thing... The only rule I can think of is on some military uniforms... I believe they have the blue field on the top right for the shoulder patches so when marching it looks more like the flag is waving in the breeze or such? (Was looking for example, first I found is here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/traversant/3572311234/ )

When the flag is affixed to the side of a vehicle or uniform, it should be oriented so that the union is towards the front. This is done to give the impression that the flag is blowing backwards from its hoist as the vehicle or wearer moves forward.[20] Therefore, U.S. flag decals (or patches) on the right sides of vehicles (or uniforms) may appear to be "reversed", with the union to the observer's right instead of left as more commonly seen.

All in all though, I think Cashoo's piece is fine... I think the flag is vague enough that it's mainly the colors and impression of a flag and I doubt anyone except the most ardent of flag etiquette upholders would have an issue with it. -

I think that's how it works... So I don't think anyone would buy a second account just to take part in this contest.
Those who may already have two accounts... Well, I guess they can slip around the spirit of the contest if they're that low.
Honestly, I've been thinking about this as well since we've had some people whose names I don't recall ever seeing before take guesses, and some with post counts even lower than mine... However when I said that I retained the right to change the rules I did that to save myself grief in case I made a typo, forgot some obvious needed rule (such as only the first to pick the number wins or that I won't be responsible for extra costs if the winner decides to negotiate two characters in the pick, etc...) and not so I could influence who the winner would be.
As such, I intend to live up to the spirit of the contest as I originally had it and not change things just because someone who may have been a long time lurker won or a possible newbie (newbier than me, even) sees this and gets lucky. True, that may mean someone wins using less than honest means but I'd rather hold true to my original intentions (only changing rules if there is a dire need) and have someone win questionably than to compromise my own intent and ensure one of the regulars won...

Still, I do think you have a valid point... And being a poker player, I understand that anology very well. Anyway, I made a compromise in my own head in deciding if someone I didn't recognize from the boards I'd figure out some "third place" win and do another little contest with a more restricted entry... Not sure if it would be another full body commission or maybe a bust, or maybe a team up pic with one of their toons and one of mine... Heck, maybe not art at all, but I'll think of something. I'd rather do that than restrict entries at this point.
Heck, I realized while running with my 2 day a week static team this morning that I hadn't even invited them to join the contest... I thought about doing so but decided that I wouldn't love (and didn't imagine the regulars here would love) a non-art board regular winning so I figured if they wandered in on their own, great, but that I shouldn't invite them. *shrug* I have something planned for them anyway Shhhhh, it's a secret suprise!
So long and short, we'll keep this wide open but depending who wins I may do something again a whole lot sooner than I had planned. Fair enough?
Anyway, it is way past my bed time.... (working overnights suck!) So here's the current status (baring anyone who slipped in while I wrote the above ramble... though I'll edit to include if they did.)

I believe somewhere around this forum I saw a post that detailed how to send a saved costume to someone else so that they could use it (or adjust it) on their own account... Do you use this method for this or just screenshots?

Regarding the art path and such:
There were probably 3 things that led to me straying from art. The first would be a couple crappy art teachers. There's nothing worse than a bad teacher (so the good ones should be paid better, darnnit!) The second would be writing. Soon after my being disillusioned by the teachers I found that when I really put my mind to it I can put together a halfway decent story. Not going pro there either but *shrug* And finally - I am lazy. I would be the Grand Pubah of lazy except you actually have to submit an application for the title and I was too lazy to do so.
Regarding Caemgen (the sketch and whatever you have planned...):
Bio-wise, Caemgen isn't the demon he appears to be. Probably. He was born to two natural parents and came out looking like a little imp. (The horns must have been tough to push out!) Dad went a bit nuts insisting Mom must have had "congress with the Devil" or such but every possible test shows no magical or mutant nature about Caemgen. (Dad, not convinced of the mothers fidelity, ended up splitting.)
Despite the number of superheroes in the world, growing up looking like a demon was not easy. Caemgen withdrew into himself and basically grew up living the life of a hermit and doing little but reading, surfing the web and wishing he was normal.
Finally, one day, he realized he was just too darn old to be living with his Mom. Certainly he couldn't just go out and get a job at McDonalds and rent a flat somewhere so he headed to Paragon City hoping to be able to at least hide behind the numerous other freaks and oddballs.
Thus Caemgen is generally very shy and reserved in any kind of social setting, always feeling like the outcast, the butt of all jokes, etc... etc...
Non-social settings, such as hunting down Rikti or such? Honestly I haven't RP'd (or even thought about) that much at all. I could totally see him turning a bit into the animal he looks like... feeling unencumbered by peoples eyes upon him and such why not cut loose?

As for the number list... The problem with relying on it is what if it's wrong? Then if everyone just copy and pastes they're starting from a flawed original... I'll go through and make an "official" list and edit this post with it... And will update it every time I check the thread.
