Sounds like your at least 6 months gone when he said 2 weeks... I don't yet have much experience in the purchasing of commissions (compared to some) and none with problems so far (cross my fingers, knock on wood, etc) but I think I would have called the CC company already... If for no other reason than I don't know the statute of limitations on disputing a charge.
Hopefully some others can give you more detailed advice though so I'll just leave it at saying I'm sorry you've had so many problems and I wish you luck on getting a satisfactory result. -

Well, I don't even play a professional critic on TV but jere's a couple random thoughts
1st piece: Very nice. I specially like how the wings were done, with the flesh tones slowly giving over to the more colorful wings. Too often the wings just look stuck on but the slow change makes them look more a part of her - organic.
Raven - Love it. Greet dark feel to the piece. The red and gold (brooch? necklace? button?) beneath the chin... Well, there's nothing wrong with the coloring of it and it may not throw me a bit if I was more familiar with the character and knew exactly what it was... But I only slightly know the character and don't so that seems a bit off to me. But like I said, it's not a coloring issue so much as probably my unfamiliarity...
Iron Man - Not my favorite piece but that is more a personal taste than any commentary on the coloring. I enjoy the more realistic pieces generally, not a huge fan of the overly cartoony art... Still, I think the colors perfectly fit the genre so good work
Last piece - I love this piece. This looks like it could be a frame right out of a comic book. The colors add a nice sense of menace and excitement... Nice. -

The TA piece is freaking amazing. Totally mind blowing. If TA doesn't kiss your feet for doing that piece for him... well, I'll volunteer for the job
I'd already seen the piece with you and your friend on your DA sight. Very cool. I love the whole fire & ice thing going... (ok, Cashoo isn't fire per se but you did do the red coloring so pffft!)
The third piece with the demony guy is great. He looks like the kind of jokester who gets a kick out of chaos, mayhem and death. Always fun!!
The last piece is amazingly creepy but fun! This would be a perfect villian for some kids halloween movie that truly, truly scared the crap out of the buggers!! I'm stealing a copy of that pic right now because if I ever dress up for halloween again, I am going as that guy!

I think he should update it come Christmas time though... I can totally envision a snowman on either side of her. She looks right at the one. She looks left at the other. The she calls down the fire to melt them!

In B&W I think it has a grittier kind of edge to it... Like she's all about the fighting and scrapping...
Colored I think the pic has a more sultry kind of feel to it...
Both are great but I like the color a tad bit more

The final member, Hoppy, has some RL issues and hasn't been around much of late
Not even sure if they've seen yet but I'm sure they'll love when they do.

Alpha's piece really conveys a bleak post-apocalyptic atmosphere.
Fenian's is bright and sunny like she is reveling in the use of her powers.
Caemgen's has that eerie "make-you-look-over-your-shoulder-to-make-sure-he's-not-behind-you" effect.
I love his take on the wings too. Very nice! The dark style of linework in this piece reminds me a lot of Jacobi Law.
Ok, it's the artist that deserves the praise (feel free to go to his DA page and give it to him!) but I'm going to take a teeny, tiny bit of it since they're my toons!
I wasn't thinking apocolyptic about the Alpha piece but I can definitely see that. I was thinking more him just have some huge battle. Either way, I think the pic definitely captures that battle weary warrior thing quite well!
Fenian is supposed to be very lighthearted and a bit errr, frespirited I guess. In my head (and any stories I write about her, when I get to that) she's been through dark times bt they haven't touched her much. She's totally getting comfortable with her powers but at the same time she's not looking for more than she has. She could grow more powerful through study of ritualized and formulized magic but she's happy with what just comes naturally... Specially since she's all about taking care of the little problems and leaving the big stuff to the real heroes. In game I have to go up against Nemesis and such to level her but in her own "reality" she'd probably not tackle anything bigger than the Family unless the problem fell right at her doorstep.
I love the Caemgen piece and that is definitely a big part of his character... The watching, the brooding, the being scary looking... But eventually I'm going to have to get a piece that captures his more vulnerable side. The side where he's not really a demon and not comfortable looking like one. The side where he feels like an outcast because of his looks and really just longs to fit in... And probably could but is too afraid of rejection to try. Probably not the easiest thing to catch in a single piece of art though.

But actually, nope... I figured they all had the benefit of a bunch of reference shots. In the future, though, I'm including your sketch in the reference shots and going to point out that the face should be based on that.
Actually, one thing I need to do is sit down and write out a list of "quirks and peculiarities" about each of my characters and put it right in the reference gallery for that character. I don't have a long list but I still find myself forgetting to mention things in the rush of "making the deal." -
