Quote:Yeah it's totally not what Suichiro imagined... where are the ribbons and hogties?
I mean how is it supposed to live up to his fantasy when there are no restraints
or blond longbow operatives bucking for a promotion?
Why this scene doesn't even contain mayonnaise or a rake! >0.o<
It is ONLY issue 3....
I don't think the creamed corn wrestling even starts until issue 5... -

Quote:Even if you did want it colored like that, a shot that cleary shows off the face and costume would probably help. The colors kind of bleed over all the details of the screenshot. When asking for arts... it might be a good idea to provide a non-color-distorted screenshot. Just saying.
And to keep this a bit on track:
How the hell can only 42% of those who voted have loved Psygon's contest entry?? Are those people insane? Was there a conspiracy involved? I say we hunt down that 58% and beat them withn with cuteness until they see the error of their ways!!! -

Very nice... I have considered getting a Daybreakers cover done and seeing this I may just have made up my mind!

I couldn't care less if the game is dying or not. I like the game so I play the game. Maybe I'll be the last to jump off a dead and decaying corpse but I'll ride that corpse for as long as I'm enjoying it... (kind of gross imagery there if ya have a perverted mind...)
as for the challenge, I would find it amusing if enough people banded together and arrainged challenge times such that the OP either had to surrender his challenge or lose his job for never coming in... I'm just mean that way. -
Of course, there is more than one way to play with your food...

Those bubbles are darn annoying!!!
(otherwise, nice!!) -
No tips or better ideas but I've considered the same... Maybe pick a few select ones to posterize but get a bunch more picture sized. I was figuring on the photo kiosk myself for those I wanted smaller.

Quote:I get what your saying but there's no reason that there couldn't be a 1/100 or 1/1000 (whatever) chance that killing a member of villian group X doesn't turn up a clue... And you would have X,Y or Z ways to follow up on that clue.Finding a clue that leads to a bigger story is an acceptable "reaction" as far as I'm concerned, because you were still out there actively doing things when it landed. Having to visit a contact and ASK for an assignment, however, crosses over into reactionary territory, even if all the contact does is tell you what's happening. Ideally, I wish we could have some subsystem that made it at least SEEM like out characters are coming up with their own ideas, not just reacting to circumstances.
In fact I'd love "missions" you had to go out and patrol the streets to find... But unless they made them more interesting or worthwhile most people would just go the "easier" route of going straight to contacts. -
Could always set it up like a choose your own adventure novel... Contact A would give you a brief run down of what is going on and you would have two (or more) choices on what to do about it... You chose to do X and that eventually leads you to another spot where you have to make a choice, and so on and so on. Ideally there would be half a dozen (or more) possible endings to that particular story arc.
Actually, ideally, this would be implemented with GR and depending on what choices you took you could start going down a heroic or villianous route...
And, for all I know, this is a part of the GR plan... I have studiously been avoiding all I can about it - I like suprises and I'm new enough here that I still have plenty of current content to grab my attention. -

And I can totally understand those who want complete control... Some have been playing the character for years and have the image of their character cemented in their minds. I see no problem with that, I may be the same years from now... Caemgen is quickly gaining must have parts of his look

Quote:I agree... I definitely get a kick out of seeing the different takes on the same subjects. That's the main reason I try to avoid dictating exactly what a piece should look like, I want to see the artists vision of the characters and how their style brings them to life...I love seeing other artist's takes on characters I've drawn.
Too cool.
Plus you never know what gems you'll get by letting the artists run with it. When CR did thesketch of Caemgen (a suprise so I had no say in it) he created what I now consider the definitive face of Caemgen... When I told Swanzy to do whatever he wanted he put the Celtic Knotwork on Cae's shoulder pads, gloves and boots - something else which I now consider a must for the character...
But those are extremes... It's cool to just compare one style to another, to see which elements each focuses on. To see the different techniques used to bring out the personality. One of the reasons I am very eager to see Cashoo's take on my 3 characters is because she was given the same references, the same general pose suggestions, etc as Taclobanon had and I am eager to see how the two artists with different styles and strengths pull off the same characters.... -
Very nice... Love the expressions, the stances, the whole bit!
