“There… done… all done… why… why don’t you tell me why there’s… Paragon natives here… and just what the hell you’re doing with them?”

Sue continued to try and catch her breath, but it’s fairly obvious she’s not going anywhere or doing anything for some time.

“We had hoped, that with fresh blood... we hoped for a better world for our children... so we took in your unwanted and dejected” the president said softly, slumping in her chair.

In the office Sue’s hair began to drift as though under water, and her head began the glow a faint purple, as waves of powerful concentrated psionic energy began to radiate out, performing on a large scale her actions with the single man before. Grabbing three dozen minds at once, brining the burning light of hope to cleanse the ingrained command and moving on, it would take a long long time to help all of Oceana, but Sue was commited to her path now.

Eventually Susan would of been able to fix everyone, on the island...

Not that everyone needed fixing, the people in the government were all immune, as were Jack and his sister where Sue had left them. Around two hundred or so minds, had never been infected, people from Paragon City.

Perhaps if given longer, more time to experience being alone, to discover for themselves what life was like for the rest of mankind, their answers would of been different.

But Sue asked them while they were still terrified, still desperate for things to be like they all ways were.

So they accepted, each and every one of them.
  5. The president walked over, to her desk and pressed the city wide intercom.

“Username Hubbard, access code “Mary had a little lamb...” command ‘Sunrise’.” She said in a voice, that echoed over the city.

Across the city the children began to wake up, then gasping in fear and surprise they began to cry. Without a centre to their network, each child was cut off from the others, alone in their minds for the first time in their lives.

Little bubbles of fear, depression and loneliness began to pop up all over the city, even in the presidents room as the Jill’s there awoke.

The man on the sick bed, began to cry, tears dampening his pillow.
  6. Of course we tried.” The president said, before catching herself and beginning to talk in a respectful tone.

“We have no other meta humans, the Jill’s are all the descendant of the Wolf, and their family ties mean they can not affect each other.” She explained.

“The same reason that they cannot capture Jack Wolf, is the reason they can only bandage the wound his farther caused.” She shook her head.

The president looked into the man’s face; his eyes seemed to hint at recognition.

“This...” she breathed out, in a hushed voice “Is a miracle...”

She looked at Sue, in astonishment, as if looking at her without preconceptions for the first time.

“We have never been able to cure someone before.... please you must help everyone.” She begged.

    Opening the door would reveal...

That they were neither in Talos Island nor actually in Port Independence.

They tunnel had gone under the war walls, and led them to a warehouse in the district between Port Independence and Boomtown. The building backed onto the Estuary, the other warehouse door, no doubt actually opened out onto the docks, which would explain the sunken pit with dingy seawater in it, inside the building.
  9. Slowly, so agonizingly slowly, the command was removed. It would take time, but the man’s mind would fix his body, no longer would he be dragged towards an un-natural death.

The man stirred slightly, looking around, but lacked the strength to speak out, or move more.

I'm a little confused about Ghost Widow too. Widows are considered natural origin, are they not? Come to think of it: All VEATS are natural origin, yet they are allowed to choose any of the 4 patrons. Arachnos Soldiers use a lot of tech, so why not mace? Maybe Ghost Widow's Darkness Stuff could be seen as an extension of Widow mind power training? Clearly the devs must have something in mind that allows the 4 origins to make sense on them.
Widows and Banes are mutant possibly mutant/science origin.

At least the fortunada branch of widows are.
  11. Sometime in the past the man’s mind had been twisted, along with his body. The changes driven into his mind, had in turned caused his body to change. An anti-placebo you might call it, the unconscious changes his mind had made to his body, would pass to his children and their children, forever making the presence of the Wolf known to the world.

His mind was in disarray, for years his survival instincts, had warred with the dark command driven into his very being by the dying Wolf’s howl, slowly that instinct had worn out. The Jill’s had helped, fixing his emotions, bolstering his desire to live, but one day when his will had ebbed low, their hadn’t been anyone nearby and he finally fell to the command.
That command, that dark geis carved into his very psyche?

    Die
  12. The president opened a draw, well dragged the damaged draw out spilling its contents on the floor, after it refused to slide open, from among the discarded papers she picks up a walkie-talkie.

“This is President Goose, please bring one of the sleepers to my office, immediately.” She spoke into the device.

After ten or so minutes, two men arrived; they had a third man with them on a hospital bed, with some sort of drip going into his arm. He was laying, as if at resting, just staring at the ceiling with no motions other than his breathing. He looked almost skeletally malnourished, all skin and bones.

“They just fall down, and wait to die” the president said, after she had dismissed the two bed bearers. With a nod, they went to wait outside.
  13. “So...” the president said, as Sue re-appeared “He has his sister, now how are you going to fix the damage you’ve caused?”

Her desk had been up righted, and she sat behind the battered and chipped wooden barrier, fingers together, looking over her hands at the psychic hero.
  14. “If you can get us out of here, to the harbour, hell just onto the islands surface. I’ll stop else...”

A series of ice blades flew towards them, Jack Wolf’s answering wave, shook the island again.

“I can’t defend myself without this extra power... and with this power, I can’t ... use any finesse. It’s like trying to build a house of cards, with a sledgehammer.”

Jack Wolf, used his free hand to go into his pants pocket, taking several red coloured cubes out of his pocket, each had a white starburst on each side, placing them into his mouth he chewed and quickly swallowed.

“Really Susan shouldn’t you be up stairs, think about it hun....”

He raised his hand, and a torrent of water took down the small squad of Jack’s pinning them to walls, and twisting metal around them to form cages and restraints.

“You saw what she was like, the girl in the sewer, so depressed, so frightened, so full of fear and loneliness.” His smirk was rather evil, with the dull glow of his eyes illuminating it

“I’ve removed the center of their happy little family, without my sister, each of those girls is going to wake up like that girl.... but they’ll be surrounded by people, whose natural desire is to die... doesn’t take a genius to work out what’s coming next does it hun?”

What Sue would of teleported into would be less a winter wonderland and much closer to an arctic nightmare in a metal works.

Metal screamed as it twisted and buckled under its own weight, pipes exploded as they contracted and shattered from the explosive effects of the intense cold that seemed intent on dragging the area into an eternal ice age.

Jack’s battles against a wall of creeping cold, their water shots and whips frozen and hurled back at them. But all was not cold, at the centre of the icy maelstrom there was a pocket of calm.

Calmly Jack Wolf walked, carrying an unconscious woman over her shoulder, she was wrapped in his jacket. Shirt torn in a few places, Jack strolled calmly onwards, eyes blazing with power.

“Hello Susan, ice to see you again” he said in a slightly mocking tone.

“The people down stairs, we weren’t holding them. They wanted to be there.” The man held one of his hands over his groin.

“We just gave them a place to stay, until they left the country!”

"Starting with what the hell this place is." Masha quickly added.
The greasy man went for the cocky approach.

“It’s a warehouse durrr, where did you think you were Icon?”

    He struggles in the hold.

The building shook, no not just the building the entire island shook from side to side. From the remains of the President’s desk a siren began to wail.

“He’s found her, you stupid, stupid *****, you’ve ruined it all, you’ve killed everyone here you know that?”

The Jacks looked expectantly at the President, well those of them still on their feet. The Jack’s dropped down through the floor, following the trail left by Jack Wolf.

“Yes, let’s wait for Longbow to arrive, then you can explain to them, that you didn’t like how this society worked, so you killed them, every last man woman and child.” The president snarled through flecks of spittle.

After the first to get hit were sent sprawling, the rest either scattered or joined forces to protect the prone Jills.

The president did her best to maintain her compsure, glaring down at the psychic who had her pinned in the air.

The man let loose a sudden cry, it was probably an expletive but it game out more a surprised half choked noise, than anything of sense.

Up close the man was quite unpleasant, his hair greasy and slicked back, and a generally
dirty smell about him, clearly his laundry wasn’t fresh on, and he was several hours at least over due for a shower.
