Given that they are in the financial situation that they have two shut down support for two languages soon, no I don't think they are secretly working on a CoH upgrade.

Well I could see that if Titan Weapons and Staff Melee were released at the same time.

But Beast Mastery and Staff Melee are two entirely different playstyles.

This is just my personal feeling on the subject Zwill, but when something is apparently finished and completed, it irks me to the point of deep seated annoyance to have it appear to be delayed for what to me is useless tat, that is what I hate about Paragon’s current once a week release schedule.

I don’t mind vanity pets, I won’t buy them, but I don’t begrudge their existence. But what I do begrudge is that they take up the weekly release slot.

The problem is it becomes, "Come celebrate out aniversary we're givening you the chance to buy a present from us!", Riot games did the exact same thing with a community favourite skin, and got the piss royally taken out of them.

Riot did that and got the piss taken out of them severly.

I'm hoping Paragon aren't that thick.

I think you've miscounted by three.

You see I can't see why it is unlikely.

Not everyone plays a Mastermind, heck for some Freemiums they don't even have the AT.

However everyone has access to Melee AT's even if they don't play them.

It's actually because of the Freemiums.

Each pet you have out is the same server load as a player, hence them limiting you to one when Freedom came out.

How have they been treating us badly? Well firstly you've got the 'new thing in the shop each week, but we ain't going to tell you what it is' approach, it really ***** me off when there are things that are ready for the shop, but instead its something idiotic like todays pet.

Compounded to that, the must have something new each week, means that we get stuff released into the shop that is bugged, reported as bugged and fixed on beta, but released anyway because they've got to have something new out.

Eventually it'll get fixed when a new patch comes out, but they can't wait until the patch is ready to sell the bloody thing in the first place, because they've got to have some new 'suprise' for us each Tuesday.

Hasn't worked on me, mine runs out next month, Super packs and the irritating way Paragon have been treating us made me unsub for the first time since CoV EU launch.

I personally play with music blaring away anyway, so I don't care about sounds, just relase the bleeding set already.

Or failing that, have a schedule of relases up so we know whether to give a toss each Tuesday or not. This 'wait and see' approach is ******* irritating.

Plus marketing types only understand why you aren't buying something, when you explain it over and over and over again.

Maybe if we're lucky this time it'll slip through and they'll realise it winds people up to wait a week only to find out its a useless bit of tat in the market again.

We really need a calander of releases.

If I remember rightly she was all for CO, till they banned her from the forums.

Balance would be hard, the idea we were bouncing around would be it would use the weaker values of each version of a powerset.

For melee damage that would be the numbers used by Tankers, for defense sets, the numbers used by scrappers/stalkers.

Ranged? Defenders. Buff? Controllers.

Control would be the real area that needs looking at for balance. Perhaps Pet sets as well depending on certain combos, others balance themselves.

Fighting alongside your pets using a melee set? Well now you aren't buffing/healing them, and its going to be a big chunk of the end you use to hit stuff, when you need to replace dead pets.

You see I think he was getting at me, rather than you. I don't think he gets that they are $5 a pop, and you only need one of them for your weekly reward.

While it opened up an extra $5 one off payment from peeps, I dread to think how much money it cost to devlop these six others that people don't buy.
