Quote:Corsets are close-fititng items of clothing - they're going to have some of the smallest amounts of clipping
And the pope hat is a hat.
As in on your head.
As in the only way I can see it causing enough clipping issues to have it removed is if we're about to get a new Vogue powerset. -

Quote:The strongman helmet is an integrated chest, shoulders and head piece. I doubt we'd get that under any circumstances unless they expand the costume editor to handle that, which doesn't seem to be a priority.
Chop it up into three pieces, that way it becomes, a lot more usueable for none CoS costumes as well. -

The thing that irks me is... we'll hear nothing back on this issue and they'll just do it again. New carnie pack with out corset, strongman helm or CoS mask.

With my tinfoil hat in place, can't help but think that Posi's statement is just an excuse for CoT pack 2.
"Since you wanted these parts so much, we'll be nice and give them to you (for another 400PP)" -
Quote:This would help break me out of my "hoard Points just in case" mentality. Though you're meant to run out of Points so you have to buy more, this is by design.
Actually my Point hoarding has served me very well so far.
Plus it would let you know if you should spend your £10 spare cash that week on points, or a couple of pints. -
Surely the whole it clips with 20% of stuff and looks bad, is a subjective view. I mean clipping together some of the current helmet options can make for some awesome looking helmets and costumes. Why not realse them and let the player base decide if they are ugly or not?

Quote:I'd allow the Premies the alpha slot if they bought Going Rogue. That would probably entice them to want the rest of the incarnate system and thereby subscribe.
This, totally this. They'd have this one slot that makes them better, and when ever they look at their incarnate UI, they have nine empty slots just there tempting them! -
Well at least they announced this one well in advance, and not hid the announcement away on Facebook, at 3am on the same day it was schedulded to happen.

Quote:I don't think it was a prediction as much as pointing out the flaw in the logic behind "Don't try and get anything changed, just quit if you don't like it."
Exactly that.
I mean if I used that logic, surely my ice cream that tastes like poop, business would never fail, I mean if people don't like it they can just not buy it right?
I mean it's not like my ice cream boss in China will close my store if I make no money right? -
He's probably going to avoid death somehow, causing time to fracture? River to lose an eye? Churchill and romans to team up again daleks and dinosaurs?
-
How about adding a calander of upcoming Paragon store releases to the website, so we know if there is anything worth saving a bit of splurging cash on in the upcoming week/month?
-
Can't you buy respect recipies? If you run out of the three from trials, the ones devs give out and the vet ones?

Quote:If you don't think the game is worth the money then don't spend the money.
I'm not seeing the problem.
The problem is if enough people think that the game tanks/goes under.
As I said, figuring out what they can get away with charging extra for, is the current big issue in games development. -
Quote:On IO's personal opinion is code permitting they should work on a Premium who alreadt has them slotted, but grant no set bonouses.Since the fact that "IOs without IO content" has already been deep-sixed by the board and beta communities, I propose that Premeium Players be allowed access to the Alpha slot, the stuff needed to fill it, and the BAF Trial.
Just to prevent the possibility of some one spending real money to unlock a char, and then not having enough inf to actually play the character. SO's can still be pretty pricey after all. -
Quote:Exactly nothing beyond a preview was ever promised at PAX or on the boards.
The fun part is preview doesn't even imply permanent access to something.
So your preview of the Incarnate system ended with City of Heroes:Freedom.
Not seeing the problem.
How much is a preview? At pax they said 1 level.
1 level out of ten seems like a good preview. -
I'd just like access to Alpha to be included if you bought GR, you know since the lead dev's said it was part of GR, and only delayed it due to bad feedback.
Alternativly I'd like purchasing GR to grant a Paragon Vet Reward token, since they've apprantly pulled a bait and switch scam on people. -

Quote:A rather common example of this, somewhat ironically given the powers of the critters under discussion, is Cloaking Device. Check out some time using a Power Analyzer the amount of defense critters like Knives of Artemis get from theirs. I am pretty sure this is the original (pre-GDN) version's power scale, and the reason it's a lot better than anything a pre GDN Blaster ever got is that critters have much better AT mods for self +defense buffs.
Moment of glory is a real annoying one as well. -
Quote:I'm not seeing the problem here. Game company wants to make money. Right and this is bad why?
There is a line between 'game is good, I'll spend money on it' and 'game is only good if I spend money on it'.
It's the MMO equivelent of the DLC issue faced by single player games.
