The Devs have said elsewhere that you get to pick which of your two existing characters you unlock. Anything else wouldn't make much sense.

And that very same argument can be applied to booster packs...so basically I'm forced to repeat myself: Why the inconsistency?
If you bought the boxed set (which clearly requires a monthly fee to play) you can play MMs and EATs all you want. If you stop playing (under the current model) you can play ZERO ATs at all. None.
Under the new system, if you decide to stop paying your monthly fee you can still play most ATs and, depending on how long you've been playing, perhaps ALL of your ATs using Paragon Rewards. For free.
So the only inconsistency I see is that, under the new system, you get a lot for $Zero per month whereas under the current system $Zero per month lets you access only fond memories of playing your characters.

Freitag dropped by Pocket D on the Justice server last week in the form of a giant spider and it was pretty awesome. He only stuck around for a few minutes and then (I heard) he was off to Atlas Park to do... spider things... there as well.

Good article. It's nice to see a piece that's not just "everything is perfect the way it is" but that realistically looks at what could use some tweaking to make it better.
Someday I hope to be able to run the new mid-level Task/Strike Forces.

Just got a chance to log in my toon and the rollback has been successfully rolled-back -- I've got all my stuff and xp from last night. Hope everyone else was as fortunate.

Yep, it looks like there was a rollback. I lost about two hours of xp from last night but, thankfully, nothing on the Black Market.

Yeah, it lookslike there was a rollback.
The ~two hours of playing I did about ten hours ago is gone and my toon is standing where he was when I logged out 16 hours ago.
Now I have to lvl 35 to 36 again. *grumble*

Was there a rollback? I'm now logged into Justice, but my toon is where I was when I logged out 16 hours ago, not where I was when I logged out ten hours ago.
Yep, rollback: I got lvl 36 last night but am now back at lvl 35.
What gives?

Looks cool! I can't wait to explore it and see what the supporting story is.
That said, purely from an art/physics standpoint, I'm wondering why the "wall" ships aren't listing due to the weight of those heavy metal walls bolted to one side of the ships with no visible counterweights on the opposite side of the ship. I'd also expect them to be riding somewhat lower in the water...
Not meaning to be overly picky, but that's the first thing I noticed* when I saw those screenshots. So there's my 2 INF to the discussion.

Best of luck in whatever new projects come your way Castle. Over the years I've enjoyed our (brief) chats at various Hero Cons and San Diego Comic-Cons and have always thought of you as a stand up kinda guy.
