  1. Level 50 SS/INV Brute will be there fo sure.
  2. [ QUOTE ]
ah well they changed it it now Nerf your damage but no longer has that nasty only affecting self bit so its not a instadeath sentence for the unwary invul/willpower tank

    [/ QUOTE ]

That's handy to know, but strange.

I went full tank spec as a brute a few days ago, Tough + Weave etc, the lot really.

Each time I hit "Rage" I actually took more damage, I ofcourse didn't really test it but it did seem like they hit more when I put rage up.

I attempted to tell our SS/WP tank not to use rage while Tanking and go abuse

    [/ QUOTE ]

Why tell him not to use Rage?

    [/ QUOTE ]

I was thinking that whats wrong with rage while tanking the only thing i can think of is that the OP missed the change to rage that means it no longer causes -Def when it drops.

    [/ QUOTE ]

It says on the skill it does, so I'm going by what the skill says.

Considering he was the only tank we had (He was also a brute) and was Willpower, rage is giving him a -20% debuff to defense, I was on my SS/INV Brute, but I was only level 47 and I didn't stand much of a chance

    Hey Bunny.

I think a lot of what you saw if you're refering to the Statesman Taskforce (which both myself and you were on) came about through the stress of that last mission, everyone was highly strung because the fight with Recluse wasn't going so well and our level 50 Invuln tank decided to bugger off.

It took us, what, 10 tries to finally beat him, having a 48 Invuln tank for Recluse was kinda tough as well but once the Taskforce was over everybody noticeably relaxed and left on fairly good terms.

Think the main source of frustration was having to deal with the Arachnos Flier before EVERY attempt (that thing really should die and stay dead!) but we did it in the end, thankfully.

So that explains some of the stress that you encountered.

Edit: And you're not being rude, I've always thought that the difference between the phrase Newbie and N00b was just that.

I think it's fairly widely excepted that Newb = new to the game but with time and explanation will become a great player and N00b = someone who thinks they're right, doesn't care to improve and general has no social graces whatsoever.

Now where's the Ctrl+Alt+Delete comic that has the same explanation.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Thanks for clearing that up Chatarsis, I was using the word wrong then!

Hey Dr_Mechano, I'm not reffering to the STF at all (Even though it was some-what fustrating) I'm reffering to an ITF I did last night were I was called all sorts of things and I was being talked about behind my back by every member of the group on Skype, I attempted to tell our SS/WP tank not to use rage while Tanking and go abuse, I also attempted to give the Empath in our team abit of friendly advice aswell, that was a no go to.
  6. Hey Fatman, I've actually called a few people some "noobs" in the past month.

Not as an insult, but actually asking if they are "noobs" to this map (Warcraft 3) so I could explain to them.

But I still see alot of people 20+ who still say it, and can't type "u" "lik" etc, and something that REALLLLLLLLLLLY grinds my gears is when they type "lol" for no reason, I think I die a little inside when I see someone typing it.

    But back on-topic anyway.
  7. [ QUOTE ]
i think it's not the aggressive nature of the players, it's just that more and more underages kids play these games.
ones had a 11 year old kid, calling ppl noob only because he didn't got his way.....

    [/ QUOTE ]

That's really just a common insult with people that don't have a valid argument and the brain cells of a Donkey.
  8. [ QUOTE ]
For a future issue do you think it would be a good idea to really turn it on it's heel?

    How about either:

    1) The Rikti win the war, and in a future issue we the heroes and villains are fighting as an insurgency force trying to reclaim the planet.

    2) We win the war and we are now on the Rikti homeworld, all new zones on that world, trying to destroy them completely.

    3) Humanity turns on the super beings, heroes and villains are forced to ally in order to survive.

I know it would take a lot of effort and a BIG issue, but I think it would really be fun, and turn the game on it's head.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Rikti could never win the war, we've already pushed them back (LGTF).

We would never attack the, if you do the story arcs in RWZ, Nemesis actually made the Rikti attack earth.

I doubt Humanity would turn on Super heroes considering we save them all the time.
  9. Hi, I've just come home from one of the worst days in my History book, so I'm going to keep this post somewhat short and to the point.

I haven't played COX for some months now, I've come back as I've wanted to play again (And I need a more casual game beacause I'm at collage in september) one of the things I've noticed since I've come back is how Aggressively angry some players are.

I've been in several "Debates" with other people, in task forces, in chats and teams.

Before, this happend only once or twice, Now my global ignore has over 23 people on it, in 5 days.

So my question is this: In the last 7 or so months, have players gotten more "Aggressive"

    I feel Guilty.

I admit, it was a good Arc, and I did enjoy some of the Missions (Ok lets face it, Freaks, learning? Rows of desks, I laughed pretty hard at that) but some are just PURE evil, I don't even think Recluse would stoop that low!

    I feel Guilty.

Just done the Westin phipps story arcs reading each mission with care.

    http://cityofheroes.wikia.com/wiki/Westin_Phipps

I have to say, I've never felt so guilty in my life over a game, All-be it I'm not a decent person, I laugh at things I shouldn't and rarely do nice things, but I actually felt very guilty about this

    Feel like paper

Well, I'm not feeling to well today so I won't write it up today.

But all my defensive skils have 4 slots or more slotted with FULL defensive/resist damage.

My attack skills follow the same more or less.

    Feel like paper

Hello, I'm keeping this short as I really don't know what to say.

I'm a level 41 Brute with SS/INV and Ghost widows Patron pool.

I have around 36% Inv and I can't seem to get it any higher, I feel like paper and I can't take ANYTHING, even with Unstoppable I still drop like a log.

I have 55 Million infmany, so I can buy some sets, but I'm thinking of just scrapping my brute at 50 because I can't tank at all.
  14. This reminds me of my Onyxia wipe days.

    Oh the fun.

    Goodluck.
  15. I like my 6 slots, 2 ACC/2DAM/2END-

    All IO's.

Im not used to help lazy ppl, so try to post a pre-build bout what r u thinkin in powers, and maybe the comunity would help u with the slotting...

Or try to give out a build and we will give u some feedback bout how properly slot the powers..

Try out here for the build.

    Peace.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    I'm not lazy.

I was pretty much asking what powers to choose and what to slot them.

As I said, I'm not good at it.
  17. Fire/Psi Domi here.

Just wondering what I should slot all my powers for in advance.

Also anyone with experience could plan me out a build?

(I'm really bad with that stuff.)

    SS/Inv

Howdy, I'm at a bit of a block in my road.

I'm level 21 and have no travel power.

Now the only thing I can really move around is Unyielding, I'm just wondering if Acrobatics would be fine over Unyielding.
