Quote:It's just a little bonus to being first to support this year's contest with a submission. And for future months, it's an added incentive to not wait until the last minute.By "the first Entry of the month" getting an extra 5 points - do you mean the first entry submitted? I assume so but wanted to be sure.
Assuming that is so I would suggest maybe starting that bonus next month as there was no hint that speed was an issue at all?
Also, since points awarded from first to last place, do you have a plan on if people tie? Be it if two tie for first or three for last or whatever? I'd suggest the easy solution of adding all the point (first place and second place points if tied for first) and dividing by number of those tied.. Run off voting just seems overly cumbersome.
For ties, they will get the full amount of points for their place. 3 people tie for second would all get 9 points, then the next place would be fifth place and get 6 points. -
Of my four arcs: One I created an original villain for the final mission who then became one of my player characters because I liked him so much. Two I created all new mobs based on a common concept used for many of my character (Burnt Matchstick) and have one mission where many of them show up as optional bosses on an outdoor map. And a third one makes heavy use of the doppleganger feature, so that when I play it, I'm always playing with my character.

Thanks everyone for their submissions. I was a little bit less strict with some of the rules in order to allow as many contestants as possible who wanted to participate. We have 9 people entered, and there will be no eliminations until June - with the exception of "failure to enter". Also, just to give you a heads up, next month's theme will be "Ice".
The Voting
Anyone can vote.
Everyone must vote for a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice.
1st choice will count as 3 votes, 2nd choice will count as 2 votes, and 3rd choice will count as 1 vote.
Voting will be open until Sunday night January 30th at midnight Eastern time.
The Points
Everyone gets 10 points for entering.
After the voting is completed, the entrant who got the most votes will get 10 additional points, Second place will get 9 points, Third will get 8 points, etc.
The first entry of the month also receives an additional 5 points.
These points will come into play starting in June.
The winner will also get 10 million inf sent to them in-game through Gleemail.
The Entrants
Airhead
Techbot Alpha
Henri
FrozenDeath/BattleWraith
Christopher Robin
Defiance Jones
Lousy Day
Bubbawheat

Quote:Correct, you can jump in during April and August.Darn! I missed the start of this! I would have entered art too if I knew!
. I suppose I'll stick with voting again...though, if I read correctly there's another chance of entering in April and/or August?
Good work people!
Will the voting be in this topic or a new one?

Submissions for this month are closed. If you missed out because of the date confusion, please post here anyway. Voting thread will be posted sometime on Sunday along with how the points system will work.

Nice to see some last minute entries. I was considering entering myself due to the small number of entries. Here's my own last minute inspiration and/or submission. It may seem bad form for the organizer to enter their own contest, but then again, I don't judge anything, I just organize it. If anyone at all objects, this will just be inspiration for the other entrants... very bad inspiration, but inspiration nonetheless.

Currently working on Venture's Cole in Your Stocking. I know it's past Christmas, but it's his newest arc and I imagine most in need of an actual review. After that, I've got nothing. If you like what you see, feel free to ask for your own.
-
Yes, sorry about that. I edited the first post as soon as I noticed Henri's post. The deadline is tomorrow night at midnight Eastern!

The design of Hurley reminds me a bit of Ajax from Duckman.

To be honest, I think we're going to see the most requested pieces. The ones that come to mind are:
Feline head/feet/pattern - which we've seen (head, pattern)
Eagle head/feet/pattern - which we've seen (head, feet)
Canine head/feet/pattern
Lizard head/feet/pattern - which we've seen (feet) -
I'm going to go ahead and extend this arc another week. With only two reviews, let's give some more people a shot to play this arc. I played it a while back and it has been my favorite so far of those I've played from Tubbius. I'd also like to have a chance to play it again this week.

And my second AE trailer is finished - made for @Wrong Number's arc Golden Age Secret of the Paragon Society
-
Golden Age Secret of the Paragon Society trailer is live. Now time to pick one of Venture's arcs for the next actual "On Your M-Arc".
-
BTW: The YouTube link is messed up: This is what you meant. Nice trailer by the way.

Nice, sounds like a great idea. Love to see a booster pack available for free, especially something that people have been asking for for a while, in a way. Totally awesome to be able to unlock the Vanguard weapons accountwide.

Several updates here. Must go through and update my individual pages sometime soon.
New art:
From Airhead for the 2011 FArt battle whose theme is fire. I'm not entirely sure what the story is behind this, but it makes me laugh when I see it. I think he's hitting her on the head for some reason? With a magazine?
And a cute sketch from Pocket Tally from their art thread here asking for references.
And also a shot of my newest Burnt Matchstick on that other game DCUO It's ok, but I don't think it will replace CoX.
New characters/costumes:
I haven't gotten around to taking/uploading screenshots, but I've got a new Matchstick on Protector that's part of a Fire Superteam going on there. It's been fun so far, and I'm up to level 11 as a Fire/Therm corruptor using inspiration from Nazgul's Makeover contest a while back. And I used the second place from that contest as inspiration for a costume for my blaster. I really need to figure out which costumes I like the best on her, I keep changing them every week for the In The Mood TFs and keep finding ones that I want to keep. -
Reminder: Less than a week to enter. I know we typically get a lot of last minute entries, just be sure not to miss out!
-
The only one I know of is every Saturday at 12:00 noon EST on Triumph is the MA Superteam. We meet in the RWZ AE building and welcome all newcomers. You can also join the MA Arc Finder global chat channel to connect with other players and authors.

It's pretty easy to figure out how many arcs have been created. The number is almost 500,000 now. Just look at the ID# of the newest arc and subtract 999 (since they started the numbers at 1,000) To find out how many arcs are actually live, click on the last page of arcs and multiply by 20.

You can sit out, or use incoming feedback to update your arc. Thanks for all your continued support on this club, I appreciate it.

I forgot to post this yesterday, and don't have much time at the moment. But this week's arc is Tubbius's Hammer and Sickle of Paragon City. Congrats on your 10th week of participation and Gold member status!
Arc ID: 351727
Arc Title: Hammer and Sickle of Paragon City
Factions: 5th Column and Council
Morality: Heroic
Length: 5 Missions
Level Range: 30-54
Description: Two former Soviet agents turned heroes, American Hammer and New York Sickle, have gone missing on what should have been a routine clearing of a 5th Column base. Warning: Contains an Elite Boss in mission 5. -
Updated test footage(video deleted). The stuff we shot today, all put together with black and white and titles.

I ended up moving it to another folder, then moving it back. Though it did have to download the entire game. But it's working now at least.
