Ok, mission for this week: Play a Dev Choice arc you've never played before and review it here. Tell why you think it got a Dev Choice in the first place.

And again, if you have a new arc to throw into the pool (which is currently empty) feel free. Otherwise, I'll post up a weekly mission for you every week, either a specific arc, or something more vague like this week. Hope you guys still want to participate!

As a prominent member of the MA "Community", I'd just like to say that for quite a while I either rate 5 stars or not at all. I do agree with giving an arc 5 stars if I liked it at all. Minor gameplay issues can be fixed pretty easily, but honestly I will forget the arc a week from now. If the story is lacking, but the effort is there - as in "not a farm", I will often 5 star it. I don't know how the others in the superteam rate, but I believe it's become much more prevalent to self-impose a like/dislike system and use 5-stars as "like", 1-star as "farm" and ignore the rest.

Feel free to post full versions in this thread now. Please remember to PM me details on the secret message for those who haven't already submitted when you do post, so I can judge it for qualification. And please keep discussions on the actual secret messages out of this thread. Thank you.

I've been a part of an MA Superteam for quite a while now that runs weekly on Triumph. We avoid farms and try to find arcs that actually try to tell a story. This week we thought we might try to branch out to other servers to pick up some fresh members. Even though I have characters on many servers, I tend to think of Pinnacle as my home.

Post if you would be interested in joining us. Our typical run time is Sundays at noon Eastern, though I think we would be open to having this run on a different day or evening.

Also, mention if you would rather bring new or established characters, and what days you would be interested in running. Unless this isn't a good choice, I would initially suggest Wednesday evenings.

Come up with some recruiting slogans for the CoH enemy groups. We were doing this in my team earlier today and had a lot of fun. Here's some of the ones we came up with:

Council: We're not Nazis! (We're Fascists)
Council: We don't discriminate, Vampires, Werewolves, Aliens are all welcome.
Council: Winning!

Arachnos: Spiders are still cool, right?
Arachnos: When two arms just aren't enough.
Arachnos: The other 1-50 enemy group.
Arachnos: We had an Incarnate before it was "in".

If you're still interested in this, feel free to post a new arc to be put into the pool. I've also got a couple other ideas brewing that will have their own shot at the draw. Will probably post something tomorrow afternoon.

I agree, I got my first level shift today. How? Not by looking over the charts and running the TFs I needed to get the quickest components. I ran the TFs that my group ran, which a couple times has been the TF of the week, so I got a couple notices. I was in RWZ and picked up a Gr'ai matter, and after we ran the ITF this week, I noticed I had all the components for the rare slot, and I was missing two for the uncommon slot (and had already equipped the common).

So I crafted what I needed to craft, and I was one short to craft the uncommon component, but I had an extra notice, so I converted that and was able to craft the uncommon and then the rare Alpha boost. It wasn't about the goal, I just had fun every week running a TF with my friends.

And I pretty much finished this piece today. Was hoping to have it done a lot earlier, but I got sidetracked by my videomaking (the On Your M-Arc link in sig).

Finished my contribution - posting the full version since it's not for the competition. Also just wanted to mention, please refrain from discussing the secret messages in this thread, leave that for the voting thread.

Personally, I don't like the Smallville version at all. It looks kind of frumpy and dull. The upshot of all this is it gives me plenty of material for my wonder woman twitter.

I don't think it looks that bad. I'll have to see it in action to know for sure.

Wasn't too much of a roman arc outside of the gladiator theme (and maps), and the second mission felt rather redundant. But an overall interesting story.

I'd love to see The Maxx brought to the big screen. I have no idea who could pull off the look of the Maxx though.
