  1. Everyone is free to /chanjoin forum 606. There's usually someone online there that can get you an invite to one of the SGs. I think the VG is "Gallery of Rogues" though I could be mistaken, even though I'm the one that came up with the name.
  2. I don't think they should remove the participation, but they should fix it for the problem areas, like masterminds.

Yep, I'm running it. Occasional drama as usual, but some great art too. And things should start getting interesting next month.

Only one more day to get those Early Bird points in. Don't forget.
  7. I'm very disappointed... mainly because I made a parody twitter account in advance and have been enjoying writing for it. @WonderMcWoman Now I may have to drop it, or at least change the name.

Updated version from Artist #1, with the changes, I believe it's acceptable.

  9. And we should run both parts to get double the rewards, since they made a mistake on it.
  10. I think I've ran around 30 trials now on my Fire/Fire tanker based on the number of Emp merits I have. I've ran most of them after the adjustment patch and still get mostly uncommons, 1-3 commons, 8 rares, and 1 very rare. And 1x 10 threads where I got stuck on the cutscene during the last phase of a Lambda.
  11. They have specifically stated that participation is not based on "damage dealt" in any way.

Also, have you been getting the "10 threads" reward a lot on your empath? Or just commons/uncommons? Because the 10 threads reward is based on "non-participation" and everything else is random... or at least pseud-random based on the league and not the individual... supposedly.
  12. It's the difference between time and effort. There's much more time and effort involved in reading a 300+ page book with no pictures than there is reading a comic book that's 20+ pages. This extreme reduction in time and effort means that there are a great deal more people that will read the entire story who don't like it. If one doesn't like the 300+ page book, they stop long before they get to the point where Drizzt and Wulfgar defeat the white dragon.

Actually, I have one toon how has earned 1 GLORIOUS villain reward and that is only because I recently went through the trouble of changing my alignment from Rogue back to Villain. Since then I haven't earned a single Villain Reward and that was 7 days ago. Does it take 7 days to earn a villain reward when all you've been doing is running villain tips, arcs, etc.?
If you are a Rogue or Vigilante, you cannot earn Villain rewards. You have to be a villain and run 10 villain tips over the course of at least 2 days, then run a villain morality mission and get 50 reward merits. Then you have to run 10 more villain tips over the course of another 2 days at least, then run another villain morality mission and you will earn 1 villain merit. From this point, every 10 villain tips + villain morality mission will get you another villain merit. If you ever switch to rogue, you will lose all your villain merits and have to start this process all over again.

Possibly while exempted, but @50 I've got cardiac slotted which leaves me with almost no end problems at all. Thanks for the builds, I appreciate the first one keeping fairly close to what I've currently got.

Also, while Psi may be fairly uncommon, I do enjoy Carnies as a whole, but not their Psi damage. Also, Seers are fairly frequent in the new trials which I also currently enjoy.
  16. My first thought at hearing this news? Man, that's a lot of teenage mothers.
  17. It looks a little bit like you're sacrificing a bit in individual powers in order to get the added +defense. Is it worth it to lose 10% - 15% or so utility in some powers to get the added defense? Especially noticed that in [Healing Flames], don't normally see a resistance set get put in there. Also, what kind of costs does it take to reach that sort of level? So far, I haven't spent more than 10 mil on any one item, and have mostly spent 1-3 mil depending on what the rare salvage is going for. I did just get lucky enough to get a Hecatomb drop today which will hopefully net me over 350 mil which will help some.

If they added a few minor fixes, I would use it in a heartbeat. Biggest problem - not being able to see how many people are in the queue. Second biggest problem - not being able to join an in-progress trial unless they are below the minimum. Although I personally think they should only be able to join an in-progress during the first stage of the trial.
  20. Anything? Is this recent one ok for a general moderate boost to defense, damage, and recharge? Is there something I could be doing better? Currently about halfway done, hardest thing to get at the moment is the Obliterations. Thanks in advance.

I had considered doing a contest. I think I may just encourage people to guess as they vote. I could give 2 bonus points if no one guesses correctly.
  22. Are your regular mission difficulty settings set to show bosses? If not, then all bosses are downgraded to lts. including any in the AE missions.

I'm thinking of those converted nightclub/party warehouses from the carnie story missions! Or the Hellion one... But yeah, this is the kind of thing that A) people don't have the missions to hand or B) Are limited on whether villains or heroes can join in

Rreally, we just need to merge the base editor and AE editor together so that we can use items from missions inside bases and make AE maps in the same way we can bases (rather than just being expected to juggle around text whilst using the same boring maps)

AND THEN, once we are able to pick what maps we want, some way to list an AE as 'open' for other people to join on request or automatically if set (could work for normal missions too actually), like the arena finder... Any more encouragement of open-ness that doesn't rely on people sending tells is good, from talking to more casual friends the thing that puts them off is the awkwardness of finding people to play with, the game feels empty for new players
There's actually a dance party mission in the AE. It's on the troll rave map and has lots of non-combat civilians doing dance emotes.
  24. My first thought is something like this:

  25. there will be:

Some sort of armor toggle, probably typed, with branches of larger protection for fewer types, or less protection over all (or most) types.

A control type power, either extra-large mag, or extra-long duration.

A utility-type power would be a unique choice - offer universal travel as one option (super-speed on the ground and fly through the air), extreme range teleporting - recall friend across zones, teleport using the map, maybe even a soft-control option to stack several effects at once - immob/slow/-recharge/-end/-dam
