First things first. Welcome to the wonderful world of CoX!
Between the game itself and these boards, you may find yourself totally immersed in all things CoX. And that's cool and all...
But don't forget to come up for air every once in a while.
The fact that you are not only an actual RLGTP (Real Live Girl Type Person) but one that plays games, (other than with men's minds) and a whippy-keen artiste to boot, stands to gain you any sort of accolade you might desire from the gaming community at large, and this one in particular. Your BF is very lucky... very lucky indeed!
BTW Your work is good enough, so that you should expect to be deluged with requests. Be firm.
And once again.... Welcome! -
Heavens to Murgatroyd!
It's already been a warm winter so far. And now I see that there's a definite warming trend.
Nice work! -
This Missy K is one provocative lady. And Mr. Nakayama is sooo very talented. I look forward to seeing more of his work.
-
Ah ha! Well then, better luck to the rest of us next time. I still look forward to seeing the finished product.
-
Ok. I understand that by page four of this thread, I'm pretty much out of luck as far as being included goes. But... nothing ventured, nothing gained. So without further ado I submit for your approval, that singular scion of the seventies Bruthaman .
I would appreciate it if I could be told one way or the other if I made the cut. -
Nuttin but luv for ya Bro!
But you know yer gonna have to eventually hire a permanent dedicated art staff to fill all the orders. I mean... you do know that, right ?
Just take it one step at a time. And make double darned sure that any art that represents your name is totally up to snuff. -
Please rest assured, that nothing is expected of you (or the girls) from this quarter, that would require intoxication. The offer itself is indication enough of your general good will.
On the other hand... If it's a party yer lookin for. I've got some very fine Reislings and Zinfandels on hand. And I can lay hands on some Metaxa in a heartbeat. -
Please believe me when I say that I am truly impressed. Your creativity in both naming and designing your characters is nothing short of amazing. In order of appearance I particularly enjoyed:
Cyanicide - Oooo a girl robot!
Child of Autumn - Nice name, nice costume
D'Thelatek - Again with the creative name and costume
Elizabet Davenport - I have a Selene DeWinter and a Dungaree Doll
Embalmer of Souls - Good coloring and concept
Gaia's Hammer - When I first used the name Gaia no one else had it.
iTech Defender - I just love this nod to commercialism
Jewel of Davi - Perfect and thoughtful multi-cultural expression.
Reptilectric - Again with the name and costume.
Wintermauler - See above!
Very balanced and beautiful. And I'll just bet they all have bios.
Thanks for sharing them with us. -
Just kidding bout the mud wrestling... I think
It's tastefully titillating enough as it is.
Depending on one's taste, you and Jomaro do the best work on these boards hands down. -
Juggy old boy.. there doesn't appear to be anything covering Bam Bee's... ah, er, Rumpus room. Very distracting that. But otherwise splendid job.
P.S. If you can't see your way clear to making her more PC, then why not have them both strip-off completely except for facemasks and power auras. Then they could mud-wrestle or engage in other diverting pass times.
Man must have art or we become savages. -
It's not fair that I be asked to choose only one thing. Because it's really a combination of factors that keep me coming back to CoX. Costume, Storyline, Graphics and so on. But if forced to abide to only the choices given, then I must say 'Costumes.'
-
Do not, I repeat do not change the aspect of her wings. If you wish to draw the viewers attention back into the frame, simply put an arresting or evocative expression on the lady's face. If you take the time, I'm sure you have the talent to do so. Because it is already quite good. Kudos!
-
You know... You're right!
I would like to know the back story on some of these CoX celebrities. Perhaps if we were to go where they are and ask them there. They might answer in their baileywick quicker than they would in ours. Then we would have our answers. -
I was closing down a juke joint
In the wee hours of the morn
There was an ol piano player
An a brother with a horn
The blues were blowin softly
An it brought back memories
Of better days in Kings Row
When it wasn’t on it’s knees
An then he started playing
A spritely melody
About that big ol Brutha
That tried to set folks free
Yall’a know him if you see him
Cause he’s jes like that
He real tall an wide
An ain't none of him fat
He ain't too fine
Kinda rough an sure
But the babies all stop crying
Cause his heart is pure
Why I seen him once
It was in Kings Row
It was snowin out
It was ten below
He was fightin' a giant
Made all of ice
He sho’ put him away
An he done that twice
Then this otha time
He was dancin' in the street
An he dusted some 5th Column
Without missin a beat
You wouldn’t think a man
That was so big, could move
But it sho is gangsta
When he’s in his groove
But when he’s not fightin
There’s whole nother side
He’s teaching an he's building
And pushin back the tide
And he's always building somethin
Always workin with his hands
Says 'Construction not destruction
Is the purpose of a Man'
He's got a big ol heart
He's got big ol hands
He’s a heck of a Brother
He’s our Bruthaman

It wasn't in-game though. It was right here on the boards. Gotta say it was the inimitable Pilcrow and his ilk. With their helpful and informative ways.
You never get a second chance to make a first impression. His was a good and lasting one. -
I've never had the opportunity to speak to you directly. But almost by osmosis, I have learned good things about you from the reflections of your reputation, cast here on these boards.
Serve with distinction, wherever you go. And may fortune favor you always. We will surely miss our bold, beautiful CuppaJo.
Hmmm.... Tabula Rasa. I may actually have to check this thing out now. -
All righty then. I really liked all of them, but especially #7 RAVE.
BTW what program are you using for the cover format. In other words how can I do this too? -
Ok Jomaro, here's tha deal as I see it. The only reason you're not slavin' away in Marvel or DC's bullpen, is that you do not wish to. Because you certainly have the chops to do so. And enough exposure that they must be aware of you.
That you seem to have chosen to cast your lot with us is just too awsome for words. Rather like discovering a celebrity at the family barbecue.
Ok, enough already with the accolades.
Just know, that even though my wife and I are trying to buy a house, I am literally saving my pocket change toward a 'color duo in environment.' Because Bruthaman & Hot Koko must be immortalized. -
I mean you have noticed that the OP was dated 12/11/04 , right...?
So whatever he or she is touting as coming, has been coming for 2 years, and is still not in sight. -
Congradulations , one and all, on 2 years of excellence!
Congradulations to you as well Mr. Miller.
To the Developers . In your capable hands may Cox continue to expand till it fills the earth.
Remember... One of the hardest things in the world to do, is remaining to your vision.
Be moved, but never swayed by popular opinion.

Yep it's Shizaru for the win, with Tooter the Turtle and Mr. Wizard. I believe that they were a part of 'Fractured Fairytales'
and came out around the time of Rocky and Bullwinkle. But I could be wrong. The point is, that you have revealed yourself as being excruciatingly ancient. Much like myself. -
You know you're and old gamer if you can identify this quote, 'Trisle, Trasle, Trosle, Trone. Time for this one to go home.'
I dare ya.
I double-dog dare ya!
