  4. The rez idea is not a bad idea but that would require a big code change I would imagen because of how fast pets fade out.

    Like so many others here I have the same list of complaints.


    Spec ops recharge times need to be shorter and replace Rifle But with beanbag. And ether give them a stealth strike with their snipe or replace it with slug or buckshot, preferably buckshot.

    LRM on the Commando way to long of a recharge Also can he get that big *** Rocket launcher the 5th and the Council use? It would up his cool factor by about 20.

    Medic I haven't seen him go running up to use brawl lately but his grenade should be given to one or both of your other T1 pets on a 30 sek recharge that causes KD and not KB if I want KB I have M30.

    Serum needs to be completely redone and repurposed.

    This certainly does suck. The crab gets a few really cool powers you can't get with the bane, yet unlike the bane you can't avoid aesthetic annoyances in order to use them.

    crab legs are stupid looking.
    Only on none Arachnos constums. On the "real" Crab Spider armor you look dam cool. Besides if you max all the sliders on the huge body tipe and stay at the back of the group every one else gets to share your pain.

If Auto Assault was running I would in a heart beat I was in the beta for Auto Assault It was SO FREAKING COOL I rely wish it was still running the MM class in that game was crazy fun and it looked good and it had full body avatars and player housing and lots of cool stuff for your vehicle ... No I'm not listening to the sound track right now... Ok I am but its not on repeat...

    In short No. Guild Wars is free and COH/V is the only other game they have that's interesting to me. If I want PVP I go to EVE Online. Fantasy Guild Wars. Any thing else COH/V.

Thank you for the responce I was thinking about Jump Kick or Boxing/Kick just to round out my melee attack chain its kinda sad that the ranged attacks are better than the melee tho Any way I think I will still use them they sound like a lot of fun and I want to see a crab do Jump Kick bet the arms clip through the floor so bad.
  14. Yes that is a latency issue I to have a high latency (is there an in game Ping meter?) most of the time. Altho I play a lost more redside we don't have many chainlink fences but I have slid along the ground as tho I was dead for almost 30min in a row when i was in fact alive and using powers. I have also walked through many different walls and have to click on most doors 2 or 3 times to go through them. The next fence I see I'll see if i can walk through it.

  16. Ok well I was just thinking about what I wanted to do with my Crab ultamentaly I decided that I did not want to take any of the pet powers I want instead to take everything else the Crab set has to offer but is it worth it?


    I'm shooting for being primarily for teams wile still being able to solo not on ruthless per say but sill able to solo if need be. So theirs a few questions I have first is about some Wolf Spider powers, First if I take Wolf Spider Armor and Crab Spider armor do they stack? As in do I get 6% Smash/Lethal and 4% Psi resists or not? Two, Combat Training both Offensive and Defensive from what I can tell they really aren't worth it is this true? Because it seams to come down to ether CT:O or Slice which one would you pick?

    Now on to my Crab questions. The Crab mealy attacks, I know most people don't touch them but why? The damage looks good or so there must be something I'm missing if some one could enlighten me I would be grateful. If there is no reason not to take them theirs a few other questions I have I know from what I've read here (and my own experience ingame) that SOA powers use more end with this many attacks (see below) will I be running my self out of end in one full chain of ranged and melee attacks? Or can that be avoided with some set bonuses?

    Now on to everybody's favorite subject Damage...

    My ranged attack chain of Channelgun, Venom Grenade, Supresion, Frag Grenade (and eventually Venom Grenade, Bile Spray, School of Sharks, Supresion, Frag Grenade). Looks like it will do more damage than my melee attack chain of Slice, (Jump Kick?) Arm Lash, Frenzy.

    Which means that in most cases unless the bady's are already right in front of me I may as well use my ranged attacks. Right?

    Last but certainly not least Omega Maneuver as you can see below I'm taking it at 49 is it worth it at this level with its 6 min recharge and no slots or would I be better off taking something else here like Maneuvers, Assault, Aid Other, Jump Kick, Boxing, or, Kick?

    Don't worry about what I'm going to slot in I will most cerently not be leaving them empty. I will most likely be using primarily regular IO's with a few Sets. The help I'm looking for now is power picks and slot allocation

    That said - /Traps is a great secondary for any of the ranged pets. With /Traps you get an array of additional pets to provide protection, draw off aggro, and eat alpha strikes. You also get things like Poison Gas Trap and Trip Mine - an excellent way to give a particularly hard target and instant bad day.
    Five there was only five words that were misspelled in that post. Between ADHD Dyslexia and a long list of learning disorders and only being able to spell phonetically, I think I'm doing dam good. Yes I use Google's toolbar spell checker besides if you can read it then there is no real problem.

    OP what ever you do DO NOT take serum you will only respek out of it later.

    I love my Merks/Traps I think Traps is a good set for merks because of the massive amount of utility it has when pared with merks with your secent upgrade you get enough KB that they hold there own well enough but when you add in caltrops, acid morter, and trip mine it keeps the badys away from me and mine for a long time! Hea i maid it rime!

    I kinda know why they went with those HORABLE uniforms for the T1 Soldiers they (albeit vaguely) resemble the WWII German uniforms http://images.google.com/images?hl=e...-8&sa=N&tab=wi and i mean whats the first thing you thing of when you think of Evil and Soldiers tougher.... the Germans! YAAA for stereotypes!

    Also think about it for a minute you are in the middle of a city Jungle green or Desert tan camo are going to stand out and as far as camo is consered has any one here ever tried to use Dark green and Dark brown on a toon in the camo patren? It turns into one solid color that's ugly as sin.


    How ever the thing that really gets me is that none of the Soldiers have any Personal Protection you know a Bullet profe vest? True 70 years ago Personal Proection on the battle field was not a reality there were some "flack vests" but for the most part there was none that being said any attempt to replace our modern US Army in game would look wrong and is not worth it. How ever most military stuff in game looks Vietnamish the P90 radio ( think that's what it is) (not the modern SMG) the Merks use to summon in is more desert storm but the vanguard tanks are M48's http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M48_Patton and the Cargo Trucks are M35's http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M35_2-1/2_ton_cargo_truck these are 1980's eara vehicles that's when the Body Armor industry realy started to take off (http://www.globalsecurity.org/milita...ody-armor2.htm)

    Not to mention all the other "non super" groups like the knives of Artemis and PPD and what not I know the Longbow uniforms "absorb energy" but lets assume that that's expensive and not something your average merc can afford in the environment that the game portrays going in to ANY fight without some kind of protection for your self is the uipitamy of stupidity!

  23. Heres a Novle idea for FFG how about it works diffrently for diffrent AT's! Thats right how about for MM's FFG works like it dose now. Where as for Coruptors, Defenders, and, Controlers they all can have a FFG Belt that has there FF Genrator in it so it will work like a toggle. However for MM's I say we keep it as it is I have used it extensively and it has NEVER gotten hung up on anything EVER it keeps up with me, to well in fact. More often than not when stealthing a mission or running away from a team wipe it brings the mobs to me!

    Poison Trap is ok as it is now in regards to its hold but it would be nice if it was place able like Omega Maneuver or throw able like Web Grenade. Speaking of which I like the idea for a +1 mag prock for Web Grenade.

    I would like to see a Gun Drone like power replace the MM Detonator with pet upgrades now affecting all our pets at once and with there high end cost sacrificing a minion just for it is IMO not worth the end cost of resummoning the pet and reequipping them it takes to long, and it is difficult to properly use.

    On the matter of the Triage Beacon I think making a moving version of it will look funky I admit it would make it more useful on a team environment where your moving around a lot. However on my L50 its up every other spawn any way I would rather see it stay a place able and have it's duration shortened along with it's recharge time, possibly with a small boost to its +regen rate.

    Or we could get really funky and make it like a reverse Acid Mortar have it shoot syringes at random teammates or your own pets with a moderate Heal Over Time (HOT) and minor damage resit buff. And like the AM give it 10 charges before it disappears.

Pity well I spose I'll just have to roll with it and RP along in my head as allways maby once I16 comes out and if we do get PC I'll just make them all diffrent colloers and say that they all have differt versions/jobs thus I woulb be able to justafably say that theres no need to change the numbers becasue all the red ones are the first seares green are 2 seares and black is S3 and and the proectors can be light green with chrome trim and the ASbot can be green with black trim and chrome highlights ... yes YES IT ALL MAKES PERFECT SENSE!
