It's worth thinking about Frankenslotting Siphon Life.
[/ QUOTE ]
Couple things about this
He need the Mako to be over the soft cap
He neve said he was going to solo AV with this build
Only 17.4% heal is not a lot and if he does want to solo AV you want that heal to be higher. That is why I don't like the proc in there at all you take away a slot from SL. It might be great for normal play but for AVs as a /SD you will want that heal to be better then 17.4%, and you want the attack to do damage. -
[ QUOTE ]
I'm disappointed they didn't change the animations for the 2 ugliest kicks in the set, Thunder and CAK. I hope they'll add alternates for them once it hits closed beta.
[/ QUOTE ]
It looks like you can change Crippling Axe Kick but not Crane Kick. -

Here is the link,
I love the new KOB and the new Footstomp. -

That looks cool, but is it me or does EC look a lot fast as a punch?
-
Best Dark Melee attack chain is
MG/Smite/SL/Smite
MG need to recharge in 4.488
SL need to recharge in 4.62
Smite need to recharge in 2.112
Smite: 6/2.112-1=184%
SL:10/4.62-1=116%
MG: 15/4.488-1=234% -

Wow, I never thought I'd see the day when we got Silver Mantis spines.

Were not, this may look like them but they are not Silver Mantis spines because BAB didn't think about her when he made them

If spots arent full then i'd like to try a TF. Heh you thought that wasnt as fun as the TFs then i wonder what a TF is like then. But great run i agree, good to be on a team with only great scrappers.
[/ QUOTE ]
We did an all scrapper STF last week and anal scrapper ITF the week before. I guess it didnt seem as fun because it was so short. it was like starting a TF then going right to the last boss.
[/ QUOTE ]
I must have been asleep or something cause I didn't anal anything during that ITF
[/ QUOTE ]
Good I wasn't the only one who saw that. -
Well I've look at it some and the best DPS attacks for it are Jacob's Ladder, Chain Induction, Charge Brawl. Havoc Punch is the worst DPS of the 4 attacks.
So it looks like the best attack chain would be
Chain Induction/Charge Brawl/Jacob's Ladder/Charge Brawl
CI would need to rechrage in 3.96 which would be 250%
CB would need to rechrage in 1.056 which would be 184%
JL would need to rechrage in 3.3 which would be 143%.
The DPS for that chian will be around 130ish DPS. -
-
Well for 7min fight that would be 420 sec
If she had 28270 hit points like most AVs do
28270/420+94.24=161.5 DPS -
Wish I could of stay the hole time, but I had a blast for the time I was there.
-
They have Inv and SR but it seems like most of them are Regen
-
[ QUOTE ]
Unfortunately the only bonuses of electricity are Thunderstrike and Lightning Rod. Both are great but most of the damage is comming from the Brute's Fury and the Stalker's Assassination inherents.
[/ QUOTE ]
Assassination doens't help Lighting Rod at all, because it can't Crit. -
[ QUOTE ]
Broken Prey mentioned something about BABs saying the alternates are all punches, so...
[/ QUOTE ]
Yes I do and Here is the post by BAB
[ QUOTE ]
As for Martial Arts, the alternate animations we have right now are mainly punches. The idea was to provide you guys with a way to make the classic, fights with their fists and feet, super-hero that many have been asking for. That includes a new animation for assassin's strike (Assassin's Blow?).

[ QUOTE ]
Thanks for the reply.
That is a very interesting build. Have you taken down a pylon with this current build? I am curious what DPS you can pump out.
[/ QUOTE ]
I have not solo a Pylon yet with this build, I'm too lazy right now, but as Gaidin said it should be around 170DPS.
Also I use this attack chain now because it as better DPE then Inc/GFS/Cre/FS. -

*sigh*
I think I'd bet that a thread containing this very subject comes up more than once a week. Maybe on average, once a week. It's getting ridiculous.
[/ QUOTE ]
Hmm, I did a search for +regeneration and +willpower in the Scrapper forum for the last year and only saw two threads. I'll concede though that there are more than that with slightly different titles, maybe calling it "regen" or "wp." Still, that's two topics in one whole year vs. 1 a week on average.
I agree in that it's a [censored] topic and I doubted it was started for spurious reasons till I saw the OP responding "how so" to the proposition that his question was based on a BLATANTLY false premise of a blanket statement.
[/ QUOTE ]
Well a year doesn't help when they purge the forums. It was in May when this happen, so that was 2 months ago. Now you said you found 2 post of this and this makes 3. So this comes up about once a month. Not every week but it does come up a lot. -

CAK
ACT= 1.848
Damage with 95%=220
220/1.848=119
DPS of 119
EC
ACT=2.773
Damage with 95%=319.8
319.8/2.773=115.3
DPS of 115.3
So CAK is the better DPS attack.
[/ QUOTE ]
Also, it had a big chunk (3 seconds) of 115.3 DPS... bringing the whole chain down... where as a shorter animating attack allows you to use your higher DPA attacks more often.
[/ QUOTE ]
While the DPS may technically be lower (by all of 4 points per second) doesn't the higher chance to crit ultimately make up the difference in EC's favor though? Since the highest DPS chain is most important against tough targets (Bosses, EBs, AVs, GMs and Players) the greatest benefit would be in average damage over time in most those cases. Though CAK would likely still have some advantages in PvP for mobility reasons, in PvE against bigger targets that you don't need to dance around EC would have a higher DPS.
The real argument for CAK would seem to be that, since both it and EC bring down the attack chain's net DPS, CAK just activates quicker, letting you get back to your "real" attacks as soon as possible, but that assumes a massive amount of recharge to get them back up and in the fight often enough that there isn't room in the chain.
In lower recharge builds you might still be better off using EC over CAK, it depends on how much time you need to burn while SK and CK recharge.
[/ QUOTE ]
So I did the math of the 2 attack chain with Cit at 10% for all other attack and 15% for EC
SK/CAk/Sk/CK
AcT=5.808
Dam=885.3
Dam with Crit=973.83
973.83/5.808=167.7
DPS=167.7
SK/EC/SK/CK
ACT=6.733
Dam of SK/Ck=665.3
Dam with 10%crit=731.83
Dam of EC=319.8
Dam with 15% crit=367.77
Dam total=1099.6
1099.6/6.733=163.3
DPS=163.3
Now for Recharge of the builds
SK/CAk/Sk/CK
Sk needs to rechrage in 1.848 which is 225%
CAK needs to rechrage in 3.96 which is 102%
CK needs to recrage in 3.96 which is 153%
now
SK/EC/SK/CK
Sk needs to rechrage in 1.848 which is 225%
EC needs to rechrage in 3.96 which is 203%
CK needs to recrage in 4.885 which is 104%
So after looks at this it is not only easy to run the first, but it does more DPS. -
[ QUOTE ]
Will Thunder Kick, Storm Kick, Dragon's Tail and Eagle's Claw all have alternate punching animations?
[/ QUOTE ]
Well BAB said the most of the new animations are Punches. -
[ QUOTE ]
Eagle Claw has a slightly higher DPA than CAK, and it is easier to get enough recharge to use it. It also crits more often and has a mag 3 stun. Why not use it?
[/ QUOTE ]
Well lets see
CAK
ACT= 1.848
Damage with 95%=220
220/1.848=119
DPS of 119
EC
ACT=2.773
Damage with 95%=319.8
319.8/2.773=115.3
DPS of 115.3
So CAK is the better DPS attack. -
Well here is my Fire/SR Guide
Here is my new build that I solo AV with. It is almost like the last build in my guide but I switch the attack chain. The attack chain is Incinerate/Scorch/Cremate/Scorch.

There are 4-5 spots in the lake that she wanders around/near. She does spawn pretty often, and she is NOT part of the bulletin message "Unusual monster activity in Croatoa".
She will just be there, and if you're above the levels for the zone, she's going to appear gray.
[/ QUOTE ]
I Think she always cons yellow unless they changed it recently
[/ QUOTE ]
No, she's always been a "Monster" at a specific level (30?), so she can con anything from Purple to Grey.
[/ QUOTE ]
Sally always cons as Yellow. I'm on a lvl 50 toon and she is yellow.
