Quote:I have decided to make a themed build for fun (not really for power tanking) that is going to be based on a WP/Mace little league baseball player.
I have a pretty solid main build already set up for when I need to play seriously that pretty much soft caps defense and gets resists quite high with IO sets.
What I am looking for is fun (maybe even silly) ideas that will allow me to still tank decently but do things like hit "home runs" on mobs with knockback IOs in a couple powers to make me laugh. I am already seeing that I could sacrifice some damage and slot a couple powers with force feedback (will also give me access to two +recharge procs).
I am just hoping for some ideas to maintain tankability and yet have some laughs out of "swinging for the fences" and would love to hear if anyone has some fun ideas.
Thanks,
Kes
O' really?
Pudge Prey WP/Mace. I didn't put any Knockback IO in, but it would be fun. I do however always keep the temp power St. Louis Slammer on him. -

Am I the only one who finds this funny a Stone tank doesn't know if he can tank Rom?
We are talking about Stone here not Ice. With bad slotting he should be ok. -

Quote:MG need to recharge in 4.62What's the recharge on that character Chaos, if you get time.
SL need to recharge in 4.752
Gloom need to recharge in 5.544
Smite need to recharge in 5.684
Smite (6/5.684)-1= 6%
Gloom (12/5.544)-1=116%
SL (10/4.752)-1=111%
MG (15/4.62)-1=225% -

Ec will need 203% rech
SK will need 225% rech. -
I might be able to do this. I just got my DB/Regen to 50 so if I have her IO out before then I will bring her. If not I think I will just bring one of my other 6 Scrappers.

Just because you don't see it doesn't mean ppl don't play it. It is a very good combo and can solo AVs with the best of Scrapper.

1. What is your favorite AT?
Scrappers, no shocker there
2. What is your favorite zone?
Croatoa, I love the zone I love the story arc there too.
3. Which is your favorite story arc?
A Hero's Hero, it as a lot of AV for me to solo with my Scrappers. It is also a good story too.
4. In Paragon City, which stores do you like best?
I would say the Magic stores.
5. In the Rogue Isles, which Patron do you like best?
Ghost Widow! -
I have soloed AV with my MA/SD Scrapper, had to use Green don't have a self heal. The build I use is cheap build that was just to aim for Soft capped Def and able to fight with out stopping. My attack chain is not that great but with AAO it helps me a lot to take down AVs. I could see with the right IO and inf you could make a great AV killer.

Werner said it and Umbral will most likely said it
recharge, recharge, recharge how much recharge you got? ok now defense. -

DA
ACT=1.584
GC
ACT=.924
GD
ACT=1.98
SD
ACT=1.584
So GC needs to rechrage in 1.584(DA or SD)
(3/1.584)-1= 90% recharge
DA needs to rechrage in 3.432(GC->SD->GC)
well that would be 0 recharge needed
GD needs to recharge in 8.448(GC->DA->GC->SD->GC->DA->GC)
(12/8.448)-1= 42% recharge
SD needs to recharge in 8.844(GC->DA->GC>GD->GC->DA->GC)
(9/8.844)-1=2% recharge
As you said the only one that really needs any Recharge is GC which is not that hard to get. I was plaining on using Heactombs and Achilles's Heel in GC but didn't now how much recharge I need in GC. I had all but the Dam Hecatombs in but only needing 90% I will be switching that with the Dam/Rech, so GC can do more damage.

Ok I'm lazy right now and don't have the time right now.
So what is the best Katana attack chain with double stacked Divine Avalanche?
Thanks -
Lets see how I did
Assassin Prey DB/Regen Scrapper lvl 41-49
One Rush Elec/SD Brute lvl 43-44
Fallout Prey Rad/Kin Corr 29-31
Slayer Prey SS/WP Brute lvl 0-19
Marvelous Prey Claws/SR Scrapper lvl 10-15
Robotic Prey Bots/Traps MM lvl 8-16
Essence of Prey Mind/NRG Dom lvl 10-14
I Made Slayer Prey this weekend got him to lvl 6 and then rerolled him and got him to lvl 19.
I could of got Assassin to 50 if I could of played more Saturday but I don't care still had a lot of fun -
Quote:That depends on who you ask. Some ppl love it some ppl hate it. I like the power but yes it is Skippable. It is not an I win bottom like MoG. It gives you ok buffs but nothing great. You're not going to suck with out it and you might not even notice not having it.Originally Posted by Da CaptainAlso just a quick question, SoW is skippable?

Common IO or SO 1 acc and 3 rech. I don't care about the damage it does I just want the powers to hit and rech fast. You can slot end mod in DC but it is a waste most of the time because if you hit more then 3 foes your going to have a full end bar.
Now for set IO, it is up to you and what set bounes you like. For me I like Obliteration the best. The set bounes are very nice and it gives it good rech too. -

I see I'll have to dig into the /regen world and see what makes it tick.
Well WP and Regen are to different builds. They don't even play like each other. With Regen you don't care to much about HP per second, you care more about recharge and/or defense. Regen is now more of a click set, you have 4 click power to use. The more they are up the better. You don't need a lot of Regen when you have clicks heals to bring you back to full health. -

The Performance would have a 20%(?)chance to go off every 10 sec so it so good to put it in Stamina.
Now for Numina and Miracle it would be fine to put both in. But the Numina if slotted with other Heal IO will improve the +Regen of it. So with 2 slots I would put the Numina and a Heal IO
