woohoo, i've come to a decition about my dear WS, i'm not gonna plan it out at all!!
at least not for now, i'm gonna go at it with the never failing trial and error way of life and just whing it! ^^
allthough i will be taking all the advice given with me when i do so, WSs are just to complex to plan out and rather than getting a headache trying to do just that i'm gonna take it as it comes and see how it turns out, like in the good old pre-planner days... .ftw!!! -

Never really thought about this as a damagedealing power, atm i'm mainly using it to put an opening hold on voids before i start bashing them to bits. but i'll think about the damage next time i use it

I even think Stygian Circle is over-slotted, I run on just the default 1xEndmod. That'll completely re-fill my Health off about 2-4 minions, and my End off about 4. If you're going to slot it for something, slot it for Recharge.

i've found that the slotting i'm using on stygian right now (1 heal 2endmod) is pretty much perfect (for me) especially when soloing and the mobs are smaller/goes down slower than when teaming.

Hasten not 3 slotted? When you get the big recharges like Extract Essence, Unchain Essence, Quasar, and Eclipse, you'll want Hasten up as much as possible. Consider trying to find 2 more slots for this.

i must admit i didnt take those high-recharge powers into consideration, usually dont slot hasten more than that 1 original recharge but i agree i'll have to for this

you might be right on this, when i thought about it at first i thought that endmods in dwarf will help it overall while endreds in the attacks would be a bit tied down, i'll have another headscratcher on that one

Is the Superspeed to stack with Shadow Cloak? If so, consider swapping it out for Nebulous Form. It's also got a stealth component, but is about 300 times more useful for you as a WS than SS will be. It's not going to save your life, it's not a panic button. BUT it will enable you to get to the centre of a mob, avoid the alpha, and position you nicely for Mires and Eclipse. Worth a thought.

Yes i am using SS to stack with SC, and as a travelpower (hate TP) and imo having invis in the form i get is better than the stealth+phase from SC+NF since i can still get smack into the middle of a mob but i dont have to detoggle in order to pull of the mire and such thus containing full invis until i activate the power.

Gravitic Emanation is a great tool aswell, nice Cone disorient, with a high mag KB. So pretty much Energy Torrent with disorientIm currently trying to find the slots on my 44 to finish this off to give it the slots it deserves. Try picking it up a bit earlier.

this is indeed what have been confusing me the most, trying to decide what to do to get the blue stuff to add up, and i'm still not sure, will probably go with stam, dropping the endreducers. -

nah its constant @ 50 have a mix of white/green SO's still miss like a bint. and the toons i have in the 30's area are again white/green.
the only char i never missed on (much) was the ngy/dev, but that was because of 2 acc in attacks and 3tohits tactics, 3 tohits drone. every other toon, such as, say my fire/elec, misses a fair bit, hes got 3acc/3dmg etc >.<

thats just wierd, my "main" atm (spines/invu) is running 1acc in each attack, just as all my other toons, and i hardly ever miss running on invinc...
and my 50 scrap (katana/regen) doesnt have any accs slotted at all, running purely on FA and hits almost everytime....

in my opinion you're wrong here Shannon, as my WS is now (around lvl27 still 3form) i use Dwarf form alot both when teaming and soloing and i find the damage quite good and slotting it isnt gonna make it worseWether or not you think dwarf has good damage comes down to personal opinion, so saying its rubbish is kinda politically incorrect

you could just use the in-game Demo Recording, cant remember the commands for it atm but i'm sure someone else knows them..
Or you can use Fraps, its a free program for video capture, available from www.fraps.com.
Note on Fraps: To do "videos" from the game your gonna need a very good comp spec-wise or it'll lag you to death even when running on the lowest setting.
Not sure about the in-game Demo Record though, never used it myself -
as _Finn_ said /sr is quite strong in the higher lvls, its the lower lvls you gotta qorry about

personally i'd ditch the /dark one, having res on a stalker doesnt really fit in (my personal opinion), as you say having a non-def set does make things a bit harder, allthough harder can mean more fun too
but as said, personally i'd ditch the /dark and keep the /nin if those where the choices.
the stalkers i have are both /sr (took /sr bc of the more complete mezz def and Quickness), /nin on the other hand has the in-set heal wich is a very nice bonus and the lack of KB protection can ba taken care off with Acrobatics if its found to be a big issue, another "bonus" /nin has is that it only has 2 Def toggles with the same Defs as /SRs 3 toggles... not to speak of the prettier colours in /nin -
i reckon i can throw in a vouch for them too, was in DHP for a while when it had just started out before i went on vacation, forgetting to tell them, and when i came back they where gone
but the time i did spend with them was a good one.

actually sounds interesting to join an SG again, especially one that isnt all "high and mighty" but i dont know if i wanna pull a toon out of my "one-man" sg that i've worked so hard on.... i'll think it over and give you a /t if i decide to commit

Just thought i'd give some info about Stone/Super Strength, going from personal experience...
When i played mine i took him through 3 "stages" when it comes to the build and i dont remember them all so i wont be posting any.
I think this combo is good allround, good for staying alive when tanking at the same time as the damage output is very nice thnx to rage. only Tanker set with def to psi afaik, wich gives it the upper hand in such situations.
Loved playing my stone/ss both in teams and solo and had fun all the way to 50...
[u]Stone Armor:[u]
Rock Armor - Defense to smash/lethal, pretty essential power imo, take at lvl 1 slot 3def (1-2 endreduce if you have spare slots)
Stone Skin - Auto power, Resist to smash/lethal, nothing really fancy about this, i didnt take it until i got Granite since this power stacks with it. Take it or dont, not a must have (slotting 1-3 dam res)
Earth's Embrace - Increases your Max HP for a while and Heals, take it and slot it asap 3recharge 3heals
Mudpots - Damage/taunt aura, good power to have for holding aggro a bit better, especially when in Granite and all the powers recharge slower, its a bit heavy on endurance so might wanna wait with getting it until after Stamina. it does minor DoT damage and slow. slotting 1-2acc 2-3endreduce.
Rooted - Mezz protection and +Regeneration take it and love it.. dont have to slot it if you dont want to but if you do put heal enhances in it for +regen survivability goodness(3heal SOs = roughly 194% increase in Regen)
Brimstone Armor - In the midst of all the +Def in this set we have this power, gives Resist to fire/cold damage, yes resist, while lvling my stone/ss i didnt take this at all, managed fine without it. allthough when i took it in a respec after hitting 50 i really enjoyed having it, personal preference really, slotting 3damres (1-2endreduce if you have spare slots)
Crystal Armor - Defense to Energy/Neg. Energy, nice power to have this one, take it when you have room for it, slot 3def (1-2endreduce if you have spare slots)
Minerals - This is a real beauty, Defense to Psi-damage! no real need for it until 40+ though, take it when you can, slot 3def (1-2endreduce if you have spare slots)
Granite Armor - Now here we are, the toggle of all togglestake it, slot it, love it!! gives both Defense and Resist to Smash/lethal/fire/cold/energy/neg. energy as well as mezz protection (mezzprotection stacks with Rooted for extra resist), there are however some "downsides" to this power, due to the "shapeshift" into a huge stoneman you get -Recharge -Speed and -Damage but its nothing a few outside buffs cant handle... slotting can be varied in alot of ways, i first slotted it 2def 2res 2endreduce wich worked really great for me, later on i changed to 3def 3res, make endurance a little more of an issue than before but survivability was increase quite much...

Jab - cant avoid it, dont slot it...
Punch - kinda semi-good power imo, take it or dont.. slotting 1acc 1-3 dam
Haymaker - good power, high damage + knockdown, slotting 1acc 3dam (1end if you have a spare slot)
Taunt - main aggro tool of a tanker allthough not a total must for tanking i'd say take it as a stoney as you'l be slowed down and cant run around as much without someone giving you Speed Boost. slot 1-2 recharge
Handclap - this power is really pants imo, does PBAoE disorient and knocks the enemies away from you wich kinda negates the whole point of tanking.. dont take...
Knockout Blow - awesome power, extreme damage and foe hold (minions and lts) take it asap, 1acc 3dam (1-2endreduce if you have spare slots)
Rage - "build up" power, gives +dam +acc for 120 seconds followed by a 10second "downtime" when you cant attack and a drop in endurance, i LOVE this power.. slot 3recharge
Hurl - kinda meh power, not much of a damage dealer but gives -Fly with can be useful since you cant jump while Rooted or in Granite. take it if you want it, slot 1acc 1-3 dam
Footstomp - very nice power, PBAoE with good damage and does knockdown, great to have for keeping aggro while doing damage, take it, slot it, love it... i slotted 1acc 2recharge 2end..
Pools:

Swift; take this instead of hurdle, slot 3runspeed to negate the -speed from rooted and granite. Health; gives +Regen, take it, slot it if you want/can.
Stamina; take it asap, slot 3endmod
[u] Speed: [u]
Hasten: nice power to have to negate the -recharge from Granite
Super Speed: Travel Power, if you want it go for it
[u] Teleport [u]
Recall Friend/teleport foe: either of these can be used really, doesnt matter imo.
Teleport: nice to have for vertical movement while rooted or in granite, no real need to slot unless you use it as your allround travel power in wich case i'd slot 3range 2-3endreduce

okay, i've been thinking in the lines of 1acc 2recharge 3dam, having both hasten and siphon speed i thought the recharge would be pretty nice like that.. think that slotting would work? -

on Brimstone i slotted 1acc 2end 2recharge, with rage up the damage is nice enough without slotting imo whilest the endurance cost is a bit nasty ( endcost is 18 iirc )

imo, this is wrong, i've played witha katana scrapper and a spines scrapper (anda spines stalker) and Ripper is a huge cone compared to GD, on gd they pretty much have to be standing on top of eachother to get the cone effect and ripper is pretty much like any other meele cone. /O-Brim
