While I wish we had two healthy English speaking servers, it's better we have one healthy and one struggling then two average. Ideally the situation would be solved by merging the PvP BG and Arenas WoW style, since I don't see it happening soon (Issue 12 anyone please?) I would rather have one unofficial PvP server where I can actually find some good action. Ideally for me this would be Union, mostly because I'm an RPer and a PvPer and I like to PvP with my RP characters, if Defiant became the PvP capital I would still move some characters there of course, just not my mains.

I agree with FFM, I find the basic Wiki layout very handy since I'm very used to it.

That said very pretty.

I love PvP and I love RP, I think the reason that there is no official RP server in CoH is that they did not want to get all the trouble such a server would have, that said they could have gone the WoW way to it and just not enforce anything on it.

PvP servers where not created because when the servers came to be, there wasn't even any PvP in the game, since the server traffic numbers never warranted new servers I doubt much thought was ever given to creating one.

For me the solution to the empty PvP zones is to create a system like WoW, where the PvP zones are not linked to one server but all servers, this is probably something that requires a lot of effort on the developers part, but if they pull it off, it will be a huge boost.

Basic story goes like this, Pious and some others create a wiki for Union since it's where they play. It's free which is very considerate of them, any objections you might have on it's functions will probably be noted by these lovely people and if possible will be ratified. The obvious solution is to have a couple or more different templates, personally I rather like the one used by our Wiki currently since it's detailed nature might make people think of mentioning things they might have forgotten to write down.

Hm... I should actually make it clear, I was not bothered in the least by the sexuality tag, I was bothered slightly that it was added to my char without anyone asking me so fast. That said it's a wiki so I expected editing to happen, just not that fast!

I don't mind the sexuality tag, I actually had some fun looking out of curiosity who else is bisexual, was kind of disappointing, for every six female bisexuals one male.. *sigh*

PS: If I really wanted my characters sexuality to remain vague I would not have included it anywhere on the profile

Great Work folks, that said I was surprised that in Shadowplays entry the categorisation Bisexual was added, I kind of left it out on purpose because SP is not in the least defined by his sexuality.

Nothing wrong with starting fresh, I'm very much in favour of such a wiki, it would also be a great asset to try and gather cannon information about CoH in a way that anyone can search and find them easily.

The posters have a strong propaganda flavour, they are made to instil fear and vigilance towards the Rikti and possibly other extraterrestrial threats. This means they might propagate xenophobia but it says nothing about the organisation itself.

Anyway, part of my point was that as ugly as discrimination is, it makes perfect sense that it would exist culturally to some extent considering the destruction the first Rikti war brought.

Peacebringers/Warshades are a bit of a special case within itself, the fact that they are part human and might still have brothers, sisters, spouses and friends from the time they where still fully human makes their case interesting.

Earth for humans is a reasonable sentiment considering, plus the Vanguard cooperates with Peacebringers and Warshades. Hard military and practical is what I get most from the Vanguard.

In my teens I was a big fan of the Marvel Mutant titles, that said I think the kind of prejudice seen there is not prevalent in the Paragon universe.

As Crimson Archer said I think most prejudice is from normals towards super powered beings in general, I would venture to guess that Natural human heroes are far more accepted.

Generally speaking one of the things I really like about this setting is that it seems to have properly integrated the reality that there are super powered beings. In the USA heroes are registered and accountable for their actions from 1937 with the Citizen Crime Fighting Act.

I think this suggests that all meta humans are a lot more integrated in society then in most comic book settings, that said a lot of suspicion and distrust can still foster in some groups.

Brilliant work, captures comic book feel perfectly, buxom women who can punch the [censored] out of you! Damn nice!

Personally I think it's a brilliant event, I'm very hipped about it and how it will effect my characters.

I am especially looking forward to Doctor Storm (my CoV char) fighting side by side with heroes, on the other hand it's a great opportunity to showcase just how ruthless Shadowplay (my CoH char) is.

The effects can be all the things mentioned above, but I'll try to stick to and mention whatever can be supported by the IG environment, meaning I'm not going to comment about food rationing unless there are missions or something similar that mention it. On the other hand if another RPer uses something like that and it makes sense to me I'll play ball with it.

Brilliant idea man, made my own version, since I have the skills to do it myself without bugging ya. You should definitely get this months creative award for this!
