Yes, it's a competitive tourney, I see no reason why some people should be penalised for having spent the time to make their characters better. They could make a division for non IO set builds however.

I should point out that I have Zero purple IOs, but then I think most people should enter the tourney to have fun and not because they expect to "WIN!", you try your best and that's the cool bit.

Mind if inquire why? I love radio and newspaper missions, I would be especially disappointed if I lost the ability to do repeatable missions on my 50s, one of which has done every other arc in the game.

-Add Pistol Primary to blasters.

-Add Pistol epic power pool to scrappers.

-Add spear power set to melee ATs.

-Add shield power set to melee ATs. (hopefully that is coming soon)

-Give us the mission creator but make it brilliant and with the ability really customise everything, including create our own EBs, so we can make arcs with recurring villains.

-Make PvP zones global, meaning when I enter the zone it takes me to one with people from Virtue and Defiant, kind of like the system WoW BGs have, that would be grand.

Great guide Alvan, however you did not state the cryptonite of most good empaths in a good teams, get in a solid experienced team after the mid 20s and if the tanker knows his job you are in danger of falling asleep as you are delegated to buffing people every few minutes.

I agree with a lot of your points, but the above is either a flat out lie, a statistical anomaly or you should see a doctor to have your memory checked man. You can have your eye on the tank the whole time, do your very best and the nut will still die horribly as he decides to agro the whole room in an eightman having forgotten to switch on some of his toggles or just not having taken them.

I just realised that I was talking out of my posterior, I actually did some research, my problem with Maestro was always the fact that I don't have a UK Maestro card, if you have one from the UK it seems to be mostly accepted, just checked on world of warcraft, amazon.co.uk and play.com.

Maestro is generally not a recognised card by most online shops these days. Also I'm guessing that their discontinueing Maestro might have to do with the Switch merger, some cards in the UK use Switch technology and are called Maestro, this has resulted in a lot of confusion and problems with International Maestro cards not being accepted in the UK. It's a banking mess that comes from not having a good standardised system and totaly understandable that NC might block their use.

PS: Incase people missed it, NC was weird that it accepted Maestro in the first place.

Just a small note, most of the competitive market out there does not accept Debit cards.

Expressing your opinion in certain ways like "suck" at least in my book can be confrontational and aggressive, which is fine in my book because I -am- confrontational and aggressive.

To put it to more extremes, you might not like RP or PvP, or a certain subtype of the above, like for example the kind of RP that tends to happen in Galaxy Girl, and I think it is fully in within anyones rights to say "I really dislike GG meets for so and so reasons." however saying "Galaxy Girl RP suck!" that's just flamebait and a bit rude.

So loyalty schemes used by companies all over the planet are the marketing people being silly and frivolously giving away stuff?

That's just ridiculous, a product is successful for various reasons, never just one. The quality might be good and it might be reasonably prised, it might be marketed well and have good return customer policies (loyalty schemes). If several aspects of the product are horrible then the product is most likely to fail.

The same thing is true for our product CoH, if the gameplay becomes horrible or we get tired of it , loyalty bonuses might not save it, but they are likely to make a small difference.

As previously mentioned they are also a great scheme to keep some customers from cancelling their subs while they are on a planned break.

Normally I would agree with reporting the name and then seeing the response of the GMs.

However last year I had a very bad experience in LotRo, there was this whole crazy thing about reporting names that had RL meaning on RP servers, which I found stupid and was because of a badly thought out EULA about RP servers. Even the GMs where not sure how strongly it should be enforced, what ended up happening was a small minority of people where reporting left and right, GMs felt pressured to act so they punished players they might have ignored normally.

I think what I am trying to say is that if it's not -phobic as you say and does not have actual curse words in it, I don't think it should be reported, or at least think twice before reporting it.

I need to clarify, I meant the Liberty Girl In Game reminds me of Powergirl, while the Catz Liberty Girl does indeed remind me of Supergirl.

Liberty Girl mostly reminds me of Power Girl (or Power Woman) and not Supergirl so much.

((I think there might be an IC reason for their choice of targets, also it -is- a player created thing so it only makes sense it would be used for their characters mainly if not only.))
