I don't think it's not that all of your (and everyone elses) hard work wasn't appreciated.
I just think, that some of us don't have the numbers to put forth the great ideas, and those of you who have done the hard work, have probably done everything that can be done. -
I like the idea of getting a signature power. Seems like all the AVs have it (usually it being added resistance).

A new SG is open...and now recruiting

Requirements: Must be a scrapper, kinetic defender or kinetic controller. Haven't decided yet if scrankers or blappers will be permitted. I'm not oppossed to it, but would like to wait and see how a majority of future members feel about it.
Normal Times of my activity: 4pm - whenever pst on weeknights. Various on weekends.
Would like to get a website going, but first want to see if the SG actually gets members. :P
I plan on PvPing, and would like to get others who want to, into the SG as well.

Have you ever used fallout? The radius is so small that the bad guys have to be practicaly standing on top of the corpse for it to hit them. Fallout is the most skippable power in radiation, as far as I am concerned. I worry that your tactic wil not work as good as you think.

It works, I've seen it in action.
However, what they seem to be forgetting on their site, is that you need Recall Friend as well.
As for the costume, you do get 4 slots. Not to mention, no one is forcing you to join. I'm sure you know this...this was more just to tell ya I've seen it in action (not with them) and it works.
But then again, you could have a team of 8 RADS/ and still own, without using that method. I can't tell you if it's faster or not. -
BRAND NEW SG: Kittens Unleashed.
Requirements: Catgirls only. Yup, that's right. It's themed.Not to mention a willingness to have fun and a willingness to not runaway at the first sign of debt...sometimes it just takes getting everyone's act together to pull off something you thought couldnt be pulled off.
This SG is brand new. What does that mean? It means you will be joining a SG and helping work it's way up.
This means we really have nothing to offer yet in terms of a base tho. :P
However, on the plus side. I've been playing this game for over a year and half. I'm not going anywhere, this group will be staying around.
Website? I plan on getting one going, if the SG gets going.
Plans for the future? Everything CoH has to offer. Planned SG events (TFs, badge hunts...ect).

Playing in VG mode needed, but you don't have to use the VG colors (I myself only use them for the symbol).

Sat-Sun: Any time pretty much.
Looking for active ppl, but I understand the power of altism. Right now, no set rule on how long one can remain inactive.

I thought the scrapper "pull" was running in and grabbing one just by showing up, and letting him follow you back to your team.
But just like a blaster pull, sometimes we don't get just one. But unlike a blaster pull, we don't care. -

From my lvl40 testing so far today:
-Damage, overall, really needs some kinda boost. :/ I didn't see any kind of bigtime burst attack (LRod still was lacking against Player Characters), which really sets ElecMelee back in the current "Burst Damage Or Go Home" PvP design.
-Slotting EndMods into the first 3 powers (the two punches and Jacob's Ladder) was surprisingly effective in conjunction with Power Sink from ElecArmor.
-Jacob's Ladder is NOT something I would take home and show off as a cone. The power's icon remains deceiving, IMO.
-Powers skipped were Taunt, Thunderclap, and Chain Induction. Thunderclap strikes me as not titanically useful considering how high up the ladder it's located on the power list, and CI sounds pretty underwhelming going by other folks' reports. Perhaps these two powers could be tweaked somehow?
In the end, I'd very much like to see at least some sort of damage boost happen for ElecMelee. I'll be using it for concept reasons, but I'll likely spend a lot of time thinking "everything would be easier with Energy Melee".

All to true. However, Lightning Clap's KnockBACK seems useful enough for PvE to help get AID SELF off. -
First let me say...YUP, the damage needs to be up'ed somewhere in the ELEC/ area. It's kinda weak.
Second let me say...I'll probsbly take it anyways for my /ELEC Brute. I know EM is better, but I'll hold out 1) for dev love and 2) ELEC is just fun. -

Tried out EM/ELEC and ELEC/ELEC tonight. Must say, EM/ was the better PvP primary, but I had more fun with ELEC/.
So far, at least for PvP...
1) AID SELD needed. However even with 3 (THREE!!!) INTRED in it, I couldn't get it off that often.
2) KB resist is either not present, or so weak it might as well not be there.
3) S/L resist seems weak. Might need to grab tough.
4) I really feel like every power should be grabbed from /ELEC. This isn't a bad thing tho, as it is our secondary and I've always believed we should want to grab all our Primary/Secondary (not that we could, but we should want to).
5) Glad I took stamina. -

You were gonna have to get KB protection most likely so yes, adding it in saved you a couple powers. It didn't overpower it in anyway.
Soloing and 1 vs 1 pvp electric will be as good as any other set and maybe better in 1 vs 1 pvp. In a team setting it will not compare to basically any other set.

Actually, putting KB/Immob into Grounded only saved you a power if you had it planned to take the power even with Acrobatics.
IF people where planning on skipping it (for Acrobatics), well now they're using the same amount of powers, but using less END (if Grounded stays a passive).
However, who cares. Now I can select ANY travel power I want.That's what it really comes down to.
Also, there was a time people said make the passives more useful. Ene/NEne/KB/Immob resistance seems to make the Grounded Passive pretty useful. -
So, how has Dark Armored performed so far for Stalkers? Hard to get back into hide?
Also, has anyone figured out the numbers on the armors yet? The same or different than Scrapper/Brute DA?
How about the defense on Shadow Dweller?
Worth it to grab OG or CoF? -

Oh yes, Energy Transfer is affected by fury, you haven't really punched someone till you get near-to-full fury, pop 15 or so reds and hit ET. I've only done it once, just to see what it would do and the brave soul who let me test it upon them.. well it put the squish into squishy.
Electric Melee merely mirrors the Dev's vision of Brutes: Not in PvP - which should make you happy. Even fire will out perform it. That LR is the only attack in any of the Brute sets unaffected by Fury is a sad joke. If you don't want it to be affected by our inherent power, give it to Tankers I'm sure they'll love it.
Someone had a really cool idea for what could have been an awesome power, a real signature move of the set; and then they gave it a 3 minute recharge and gave it a penalty no other Brute suffers.

From everything I've read from the devs and the players who have gotten Lightning Rod, LR IS effected by Fury. -

Not to mention Healing Flames, while not DP has helped my Fire/Fire tanker survive long enough to tank psi enemies and survive. And I consider HF less than DP in usefullness.
Also I don't know why people takeing Aid Self will make /ELEC uber. Seeing as how any of the other brute secondaries can also take it. -

Of course they do. But they also want to be great at PvP. Which is what they're saying about ELM. Great for PvE, sucks for Bosses/AVs/Other players.
And remember, EM (considered the best PvP option by most) is also great in PvE.
I too must say I was expecting a bit better from TS and LR. I know ELM gets TS early, but couldn't they maybe increase the ST dmg of it, and lower the AOE dmg of it? Make it a decent ST attack with the bonus of hurting others in the AOE. -

but this set is missing a "brute" power, LR even though nbot being extreme made up for that fact as a aoe, i like Havoc, JL is ok, it is a little trick to get more than one mob in the cone but one can do it, TS is great, i love it. CI should have the chain dmg like TS where others get the eletrci dmg not smash ( just moderate instead of high) LR was supposed to take the set to another lvl to another but 3 min recharge is a joke, even 45 is a joke. devs are making it really hard to like these eletric sets, and when/ if it hits live, the complaints will pour in.

Actually, I think I see what they're trying to do. Looks like they're trying to balance it with Total Focus.
TF has the greater BI, but it only effects 1 target. Now not knowing LR's animation time, TF is 3+ seconds long. I'll assume they're both probably close.
However, LR gives you movement into a new spawn group, with dmg mitigation (knockdown), not to mention it's AOE.
Now assuming the AOE dmg is the same for everyone in it (I don't know)...and your doing 7.4 BI unslotted, and none of it seems to be DOT dmg. And assuming the END cost is the same as Energy Transfer...I'd say give it 90 second recharge.
Make it equal to BU. It'll either be a great finisher or an even greater opener (especially for those Brutes who want to tank).
Now if it just does ST dmg, but KD's everyone in the AOE, then oh yeah, lower that recharge even more. -

it is a good buff for your scrapper and using it will make you do more damage and use less end in the long run. The new changes make it even nicer because you can fit more into the buff, which you should perma (2acc/2rchrg/2dmg)

I don't know. Really, have you tried it without FU? Maybe I'm just running up against ALOT of lethal resistant foes, but FU always seemed to hurt my DPS more than it helped.
If you don't slot it with DMG, then your using an attack that doesn't do any dmg. And 3 slotted, it's still weak. The buff in dmg never seems that much more than without (getting only a +/- 10 pts extra out of the next few attacks). Perma it, and then it seems it's buff is only really covering for FU's pitiful dmg.
Now mind you, this was me with 3 DMG slotted FU, and you say put 2 in there.
Now on what group of foes I did see a 20ish extra dmg with FU going on the next attacks, but again, that seemed to help cover FU's pitiful dmg in the attack chain.
Could use it as an ACC buff, but then with 2 ACC + Tactics + Focused Accuracy from the Epics (I know not everyone will take those two powers), I really shouldn't need FU's extra to hit buff.
I see some of the points. Comparing my Claw//Regen (which I love either way) to my Fire/Fire tanker, my tanker can clear mishes alot faster than my Claw/Regen. Which just doesn't seem right when 1) My tanker uses a fully slotted Scorch 2) she's a tanker, she is suppossed to do less dmg than my scrapper. -

So far, at my lowly level. Loving the set. Half-tempted to run on live with just all three attacks and gang war, and forgo any pets.
Sure, I havent gotten to gang war yet, but might as well grab it if I went that way.
Loving the shooting sideways animation. Who cares how effective it may or may not be in RL. I can tell you this tho...it's fun.And like the gansta said in Mind of Mensia (sp?) it makes me look cool.
Whistle...really needs to go. Not only is it annoying, it's sad. I like the suggested ideas of finger snapping/picking up a cell phone.
And I really love the idea of the upgrades just walking in, decking the old and taking their place. Sure, it doesn't work for my concept, but it would seem to work well for alot of others.
As for the gun sounds...a little more power would be nice.
