    Really? o.O

I thought it was a line that fit with the character.

They've already established that Thor and Loki and the rest of Asguard are not gods. They're beings from another dimension, who are just more powerful than most humans.

As for the Spiderman trailer, the tentacle thing looks interesting, but I don't think I'm ready for another version of a familiar origin story, this one apparently retconning that Peter Parker was genetically modified as an infant, just for the sake of being different.
I haven't read any leaks on it, is that what this one is saying, or is that just what you think?

Granted HULK generally doesn't need a hammer or any other hand held weapons......

I lost track of all the easter eggs in the movie, but how cool was it that Stark was wearing a Black Sabbath t-shirt?

Also I think I noticed twice in the movie when the arc reactor inside Stark wasn't glowing under the shirt. FX error?
I don't know. I was hoping to see Hulk rage out enough to lift it just like in Ultimate Avengers.

But when it didn't happen, I thought "Yeah, best to save that for #2."

Generally it breaks down into a few camps. one is keeping the crash but making it worthwhile, as in the damage is enough that when you pop it, you -do- nuke something.

Or eliminating the crash. Archery and Dual pistols have shown crashless nukes can be well loved and very effective. In fact it's pretty much Hail of Bullets that keeps DP from being pretty bottom of the barrel.
Hmmm...but its the redraw sets that have the crashless nukes. So give the other sets crashless nukes with no redraw?

I don't know...sounds like it'd just open more can of worms!

Was it everyone, or just a vocal group on the forums?

My experience in game hears less of the "stop with the sexy" "why not give men dresses" and just more of "give males more options"

Shirts is a popular one wanted for males.

This is why I continue to hope devs don't take the forums 100%. Just because it becomes vocal doesn't mean it's the majority.

Of course, just because it becomes vocal doesn't mean it isn't.

Basically the devs I hope take the feedback and do a double check.
  9. The more I play it, the more I add alpha abilities, the more I think Dual Pistols is in need of help.

I have multiple Dual Pistols at 50 (DP/MM Blaster, RAD/DP Def, DP/TM Corr...and I can swear there's another in there) and have leveled up others.

But even with Incarnate Alpha and Interface, the DPS is lacking, and the AOE isn't all that. Now admittedly, I'm more worried about the ST DPS and the AOE is good enough for me. But I can see why people aren't that impressed with the AOE of DP either.

Now I love the set for it's animations and concepts it finally allows me to make, but it needs some improvements.

Reactive Interface, -100% Regen (Time Crawl) and additional -Resist (Slowed Response) in an IOed build that's running Pistols > Dual Wield > Executioner's Shot and I'm getting no where on tough targets :/

I figured Cap was getting sleepy in reference to him asking Thor "What are you getting sleepy?"

Like Lex wouldn't have armor that Magneto couldn't manipulate. This is Lex Luthor.
  15. I don't know. Captain America's mask can allow him to show emotion quite easily.

And Batman never seems to lose his mask.

That's true. But the arrow scenes lacked blood. So only Coulson, which isn't much to go hard PG13.

Just you. The one gore scene they could of had, they kept hidden away (Lore taking the eye). Other than that, it was beat em up violence, with enemies that seemed more like robots, with barely any blood shown.

I also don't recall any real cursing, and no sex.

While I don't agree with the OP, the mistake when mentioning end use is the use of incarnate abilities.

You can build to just play at 50 sure, but for some of us, building just for 50 is not what we care to do...I know I exemp often enough.

  20. While I knew the pack was limited time (I bought it) was it a Valentine's Day pack? I thought it was the Pocket D Party Pack. It never felt like a valentine's day pack to me.
  21. The comic has gone downhill, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Ruffalo's said in interviews that this is Banner stopping running and facing the world. And he summed it up beautifully in his at-will transformation scene.

    'I'm always angry.'

But that builds on that telling moment from the end of Incredible Hulk with Norton smirking, eyes aglow with gamma green. All of Ruffalo's acting as Banner and Hulk, even the on all-fours hunching, and roaring at Stark to wake up tells you Hulk is concerned about his friends. And that is tremendously cool. Little wonder people are saying he's the standout character in this movie.

Well, he is to me, anyways.

    S.
Yeah. It had me wondering if at the end of Hulk 2, if that smirk was Banner realizing, he was always angry.

Cap: Doc, don't you need to get angry?
Banner: *looks back and grins* That's the secret Captain. I'm always angry.

My personal favorite line in the movie

I'm sadly willing to accept the possibility that we have evolved past the days of being able to create a "pure" Star Trek movie/show that the "nitpickers" would accept that would ALSO be financially successful at the same time. It has been 40+ years after all - I guess something has to change.
The difference between Abrams Star Trek and the past movies, imo, has been that all the TNG movies have felt more like extended TV episodes/Made for TV movies, than a made for theater movie.
  24. Took my daughter to see it. She loved it from the attack on the fortress onward. She was squirming in her seat up untill that point. heh

    "So that's what it does."

She also loved the sucker punch to Thor and Ragdoll Loki.
