It really is a tough call for me. I have some really good name grabs that I was all O.O when I got them.
There's my namesake...but I think the title right now goes to my namesake when she patrol red side...

Actually, I don't think anything wrong with the trial/TF rewards, booster packs, or recipes. They're avialable to everyone when/if they want them (ok some might be level dependent, but you still can get them being a 1 month vet).
I wisht hey avoided them as vet rewards, even though my favorite is a vet reward. I asked and wanted belly shirts for so long. Was relieved I was able to get them when they were introduced.
Wouldnt bother me at all if they made them avialable to everyone tomorrow.
Still think the booster packs are a good idea. And I only use the cyborg belt fromt he first one. -

Super Tailor is the Super Science power (like Self Detonate and Fortune)...so, as is right now...nope. -

In superhero comics, how many bird winged heroes can you think of?
I can think of 4 (Angel, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, and some other marvel guy I can't remember the name of >.> But I know he had them).
Really. In comics, winged super heroes arent all that common, sooo...why make them more common now?
That said, personally I prefere the Valkyrie wings to the feathered vet reward wings. The Valk one's just look better imo. -
If you don't want to take Stamina. Don't.
Had a discussion about this the other day. People thinking the devs need to fix the need people have for Stamina.
No one needs stamina.
People want stamina, because CoH is usually played at a fast speed by everyone.
Slot EndRED, do some TFs get those +END uniques, use Rest!
Then there's the arguement "We're superheroes, we should be fit!"
You are! You're just more fit if you actually take the fitness pool.
Do I take fitness on every toon? Pretty much. I do have a Dark/Regen scrapper I'm hoping to get away with skipping it on (SM->MG->SM->SL attack chain, and gains END while using it...I just don't know how the heals and hasten will work with it yet)
So, I can't agree with this suggestion. You don't want it, don't take it. Slot and use rest. -

I can believe that this is a potentially difficult skill to learn, but if getting a SB ruins your ability to line up cones, I think that's an excuse to SB you more so you get the practice you need. Again though, rather than be a jerk and insist that people who are less effective with the buff take it "so they can L2P n00b" as you say, wouldn't it be better for all involved if you just showed a little common courtesy to the people who politely ask to not be SB'd? Or is "common courtesy" a foreign concept to people who think that all buffs are good all the time?
Less frustration for the people who do have issues with it. Less time arguing on teams about why someone should or shouldn't have to take the Speed Boost. As others have noted, not everyone needs the extra End recovery, Recharge, or especially the movement speed of Speed Boost.

Come on now DH, there are times everyone could use the extra Recharge.
That said, if I have my recovery taken care of, and my recharge taken care of or if it won't help the team as much (like when I was on a team with my tank, with the right amount of damage already, and I was just needed more for my taunting than actual damage output), when asked, I've told the SBer to keep at their judgement.
This was more because SB lasts 2 mins, and on a full team, it can get annoying to keep 7 people SBed.

My first thought is the ressurection of an old toon I had.
1st costume slot was her at her normal self (5ft 6in tall, shortest legs possible).
2ndd costume slot was her at her giant self (RPed as 75ft tall, longest legs possible).
Now...I just might bring her back. She was fun to play. -

Assume 50% Lethal Resist and 0% Everything else.
Assume you're hit for a 50% Resist Debuff
If I'm not mistaken (which maybe I am, but I can swear this is how it worked)...
Lethal Resist would now be 25% (not 0%) and the other resists would be -50%.
Am I wrong? -

With my experience with a lvl 50 WP/EM Tanker.
Personally, I love what was done to Barrage! Does it recharge as fast as it used to? No. But I love the animation (1 - 2 Punch) and glad it does more damage now.
I love Energy Melee's Pink Pom-Poms.When color customization comes out, I will not be changing the color.
I hate Energy Transfere's new animation. They wanted a longer attack. Fine. I understood that. I hate the animation they made for it though. :/
Turn it into a replica of Eagle's Claw with a glowing foot, I would of been in heaven.
The turn of Total Focus from a mag 4 stun to a mag 3. Didn't bother me.
But here's the problem with the set...
Before ET's animation was made longer, I was hitting at dropped targets on teams already. Now it's more apparent, and doesn't even have a nice cool animation to go with the miss.
WHen they did this to EM, I tried it out. My tough as nails tank (IO'ed out for survivability) has now had her IOs taken out.
I'm tempted to try my hand at Energy Melee on a tanker again (I love the pink pom pom effect...yes Id love it with other colors too...still keeping them pink though), but I'll settle for the EM/WP Stalker I made instead.
I keep hearing Energy Melee is suppossed to be this high DPS set, I still don't see that either. Or maybe I just don't know the right attacks to string together in the right order.
So yes, I think EM needs some work still. Do I think it will get it? Nope.
Slot the attacks like normal. I personally skip Stun. The other attacks are up to choice.
Oh...one other bad thing about EM, that I lived with before, but never liked (and this go with other sets with the same problem)...Bone Smasher looks just like Air Superiority, so if you grab AS, it just feels sucky to use the same attack twice :/ -
2 ACC SO's is all you need in your attacks.
Slot Blinding Feint like any other attack (on my current DB/SR, it's slotted with 5 Crushing Impacts and a Touch of Death: Negative Energy Proc -

It is. They get the base 10% chance to critical even when solo (and, although it tends not to matter on minions, this is double the critical chance for Scrappers out of the box). Add the controlled criticals, the increased chance on sleeping or held PCs, and the increased chance on a bigger team and I would say they have a lot better inherent.

Actually, that boled part above, it got removed when Stalkers got buffed.I liked it on my Elec Melee Stalker.
That said. Would I be oppossed to such a thing? No. Of course not.
But really, I find scrappers just fine as is.
Buff Defender and possibly Tanker Inherits. Scrappers don't need the added buffage. I say this as a mostly scrapper player (see that sig...working on three other Scrappers as well). -

True - Assassin's Impaler, Build Up, and Placate don't have the DoT. Just all of the other powers in the set.

This is actually a more complicated question than it may first appear. While Assassin's Impaler, Build Up, and Placate are the only powers in the set that do not have additional toxic DoT in PvE, NONE of the Stalker Spines powers have any toxic DoT components in PvP. It's all lethal and no DoT. I have a lvl 50 Spines/Nin stalker and she's my main. I have some experience with this.

I don't have an issue with Dark Armor's color or the saturation of it's effects; it's the fact that Cloak of Darkness turns the character completely invisible that drives me crazy. That doesn't strike me as something that color customization will fix.
It will be nice for all those Energy melee types to be able to modify those pink pom poms.

Going for a PvE build here...want alot of DPS and alot of defense.

No. Not really. Yeah, you'd likely see quite a few of them the first couple of weeks. But it'd die off rather quickly.
I mean really. Just the other day I sat outside in AP, and saw ONE Huge build. One!
In my SG, there has been TWO huge builds, and I'm only thinking, I'm remembering right on one of them (I know for sure on the other).
It'd be to much work for Sexy Jay to do, that only a handful of people would use. And of those handful, most would likely grow bored of it and disregard the toon, never to use it again (he would have to go thru every costume option to make sure they fit on the new build).
When instead he could be adding things for the three builds that are there...LIKE, Fox tails, hair for the Katie Hannon TF witch hat, 1 cybernetic leg option, ect...ect...ect... -
Here's a build I plan on experimenting with. It'll be my first character to use lvl 50 IOs. I have no plan's for exemping with this one. My only real goal was added survival in melee.
I think this build only uses 4 really expensive IOs (1 LotG: +RCH, Numina and Miracle Uniques, and PvP IO for +3% Defense IO)...the rest I believe rather manageable.
Still slightly expensive yes...BUT...not the 100mil those 4 are (but yeah, a few 20mil in there).
I figure 12 mag KB resist is enough as well.
Again, just what I was planning on going with for right now, unless someone posts a better build *shrug*

I've given this alot of thought...not that I perticularly think Shield is all that fitting for a stalker (but then I dont think Stone Armor/Stone Melee is fitting for a stalker or scrapper either)...
...that said...
What would Shield give? It would lack a heal. It would lose it's +DMG taunt aura for Hide.
Sooo...it would gain what? 2% extra defense over Scrappers/Brutes sinse that's what Hide gives when suppressed?
It would seem to have alot of the same resists as WP. WP would have less defense, but a self heal.
Shield however, would have the shield charge. And that seems the only reason to take it/want it.
Now I'm not saying someone couldn't come up with a concept for it (when I say this...I mean a real concept...not..."Hey I have a shield and AS youse!"...you get what I'm saying).
So, I'm not going to be against it anymore (I'll continue to stay against Trick Arrow for Trollers though >.>.
But, if the only reason people want it, is for Shield Charge (game play mechanics) rather than concept, I'd rather it stay away.
But then...I hate seeing "I OWNZ YOU" and "Underwear Man" type toons.
And this comes from someone who can see how Electric Armor, and Energy Melee can work for Stalkers.
Even that said, I'd rather see Ice Armor for Stalkers before Shields. -
Wait. Aren't you able to attack them, if you yourself have phase shift?
I only think of that because I have just one character with Phase Shift. And I don't see that power on many, so it doesn't help for the most part, but I would think a few could attack the DS'ed mobs. -
I'm be sticking with my Mind/Elec. No new Dom for me. No reroll either.
As for Proliferation, those who consider themselves Mastermind should learn that they don't have a Primary to be proliferated.
I would hope those who identify themselves as Trollers would know they have no more PRimaries to be proliferated either.
