The difference as I see it for Ninjutsu versus Willpower is one utility set for another. Nin is more defensive with a good heal and some tricks, where WP is over time heals/regen rate with some defense and resistance rolled in. Nin has a "god-mode" and WP has a self-rez. So it depends on what attributes you are looking more for your PvP toon.
It's not as strong as other God-modes, but it doesnt drop you to zero END either.
WP for stalkers has a burst heal, instead of the usual regen power the other (Scrapper/Brute/Tanker) WPs get. -
I don't see the problem with hoverbikes, however, why not do it as an alternate flight form?
Sooner or later, they'll get the power pools with some power customization.
You grab fly, you pick then...Hoverbike, Fly Pose 1, Fly Pose 2, Slab of Rock, Fly in Hover Position, Hover Disk, ect, ect.
They could then do all the same for Hover.
That seems the way to go imo. -
A Scythe set, this is what I've been wanting. But why just Tankers/Stalkers?
I admit, there are some weapons I don't see as belonging to certain ATs, but Scythe, that isn't one of them. -

Well, The toggles, plus Phalanx Fighting, plus Weave, gives you about 27% Defense to all positions...so, you're looking at needing another 18% to softcap.

Well, let's see...
Dark Melee syngerizes with EVERYTHING! There is no secondary that won't benefit from what Dark Melee has to offer. Even Regen. Who can use Dark Melee's self heal to help keep Regen's click heals to an even more back up use. The -to hit will also help Regen's lack of defense.
Broadsword & Katana's Parry/DA pairs well with the sets that can't cap their defense on their own...or lack any defense at all.
The other sets offer less on mitigation. But what they lack on mitigation, they make up with style, concept, whatever.
Knockdowns are handy, if you don't want to go the IO defenses route.
But in the end any combo will work nicely. -

This is likely what I would do with an unlimited budget. And sticking close to you're power picks.
Could always replace OWTS with Grant Cover, for additional Defense Debuff and Slow Resist. -

I did some work with the numbers (going by Mids)...
For me personally, I went with Havok Punch.
My planned build has an attack chain (ST) of...Havok Punch -> Jacob's Ladder -> Chain Induction -> Fire Blast -> Repeat.
That's 2-3 DPS less than using Charged Brawl, but easier to obtain.
It also gives me more DPS than CB -> JL -> CB -> CI -> Repeat, by like 20+ DPS.
Of course, Fire Blast also fits into my concept. So you may not be taking Blaze Mastery, unless you're going strictly the numbers route with your build. -

While for the ITF I find DDR to be extremely valuable. It's been the only place on any of my scrappers I ever found it to be extremely valuable. -

I would never turn away an Illusion Troller! Just for Phantom Army alone.
But yes, likely it's the knockback issues. But it's exargerrated on Illusion/. My Phantasm is slotted for additional knockback (set bonuses), and I hardly notice any knockback.
Though, that said, it makes me wonder if I know this tanker >.> -

AE hasn't been murdered. AE just isn't the PLing a toon from 1-50 in 3 hours go to area anymore. I still see people forming AE teams on Virtue.
I stay up late, I still see lots of people online, looking for teams. Maybe you're not forming your own?
And by the way, forming your own team is more that yelling "Forming Lvl ## team" in broadcast.
Use the /sea command, and then look at the list. See those names that are highlighted blue? They're not on a team. Send them a tell, asking if they would like to team. -
My Dark/Ice Defender is at 75% Psi Resist, and has yet to be taken down by any PSI using enemy, even solo.
You probably don't have to go so high on the PSI resist/Defense, and can then up the defenses in other areas. -
...okay here's the dilemma...
Making a tanker who can survive anything, easy enough (I did it with my WP/EM tanker, who tanked Lord Recluse with a few inspiration uses, with no team buffs on my tank or debuffs on Recluse, while the team took out the towers).
However, today on my SG's global channel, one member said Scrappers were overpowered (high survivability with high damage...though strangely, with Brutes higher damage and higher survivability, she didn't think they were overpowered at all).
Now, being a Scrapper player mostly (they just fit my idea of a comic book superhero the most), I said the only time a scrapper is as tough as she makes it out to be is when IOs are involved.
Now, the SG mate is mostly a lover of Tankers and Blasters, so my goal is to make a tanker (With IOs), extremely tough, and able to solo AVs.
What I don't know, is what sets to pair up to do this. Help would be appreciated.I want to prove Tankers can do all that, first hand to her.

JL's is one of ELM's best DPA attacks.
I thought they fixed CI's problem with procs as well.
I'd get both myself.
