I had thought of this idea for snipes to, but in the end I think it's a bad move. At least, if the suggestion is anything like I was thinking.
Turn the Snipe into a high damage attack, like Assassin Strike!
Even if it's not high damage, but still a really good attack, I think the sets without a snipe will get shafted.
OH hey, look, the sets with Snipes just got an awesome attack to throw into their attack chain!
Oh...sorry Ice Blast, Dual Pistols, and Sonic Blast!
This may also be what's keeping them from getting changed. -

Not on in so many years. I say free the names. If they come back and leave again because the name is taken, they likely weren't going to stay around anyways. -

Shhhh. Spines is one of those sets that when (if) it gets changed, will cause a mega-thread of how evil and stupid the devs are and how stuff shouldn't be changed after being in the game for years and how other sets should be improved rather than...
Well, you probably know the drill.
That said, I think we'll see more people rolling Spines when it gets ported to Brutes. -

Oh, and I misread, in my haste to try to accomplish work and post. Dp should do ok with executioners shot with incendiary. And the level 32 power should be up as much as overcharge would be on beam. And use piercing to add to the damage. I play my DP just like my beam guy. My AoEs are integral. Anything left after the initial strike shouldnt take a lot to kill. With the two AoEs there should only be a couple seconds in recharge before cycling again. Stuff should still be in your distortion field. It should play fine. I don't really know what you are seeing. I remember the combo being pretty good that's why I ended up rolling a DP/kinetic after.
Bosses I'm fine against. This is strictly high end targets that I'm finding the combo lacks against.
So was wondering if anyone else had better luck with it than Ive had. -

First of all the cottage rule can no longer be in effect with changes to Stalkers and Gravity. Good riddance.
Devices: Change Time Bomb into Hand Grenade. Use the animation from the temp powers that already exist. Adjust damage to be appropriate.
Devices: Add a defense bubble to Gun Drone. For gosh sakes the set gets no Build Up and Drone is a level 38 power.
All Blaster secondaries: toggles like Chilling Embrace, etc should not toggle off when you get mezzed, just suppress.
Devices: Smoke Grenade and Taser should accept Range enhancements. It's a ranged AT, these are ranged powers.
The upcoming Summer Event IOs looks like they will make Dark Blast: Umbral Torrent a much more team-friendly power, so no complaints there any more.
No cottage was broken.
Can't say anything about Gravity Control, as it never really caught my attention. -

Just curious here, but wouldn't playing someone who walks on two legs period be inappropriate in that example?
I'm curious as to realisticly proportioned as well. How is the minimum slider not realisticly proportioned? Not that I'm against slider going more to the left, I have a character who I want that option for. But am baffled by the wording.
Also, is the body sliders even in Dink's area? -

I always think they should have done some kind of Praetorian epic power pools, with Dual pistols (Maelstrom) and Demon summon (Desdemona) the 3 whip attacks, the pet summon and the buff.
Same powers for all the archetypes.

If they could give Super Jump (and even Super Speed) Ninja Run's animation, I'd pay for it! Not only that, I'd have an actual travel power again!
Ninja Run may not be to everyone's liking, and admittedly, I don't care for the idle stance, buuut, it's run position doesn't bother me at all, and it gives a good feel of "run and jump from rooftop to rooftop" that I want

Furthermore, Spines is going to be one of those that needs a lot of work. Kinda like Energy Arua, the Devs will need to rework the existing versions as well as proliferate it. -
I have plans to reroll my Spines/Dark -> Kin/Dark Scrapper to StJ/BioArmor Scrapper. If I'm not mistaken the set looked to have a self-rez, which is good for concept, more so when it doesn't require a target.
And while he doesn't have a symbiote, I think the idea that he has a personal dimension for a heart (like the Nuclear 90 have fusion reactors for hearts) I think it can fit easily with the concept! -
See, I'd love to play the DP/TM as a single target beast, but it's not even close, and sadly, I found it only has (imo of course) better animations than alot of the other set than really any more AOE.
Just trying to make it work for me, and so far failing. heh So was just hoping. If no one has, then I'm not suprised, but maybe I was missing something. -

I mean really, Executioner's Shot is just a great animation! And so what if the set would give you nother PBAOE, it's Hail of Bullets! It's needed! Lower the damage, longer rechare, and let it be in there!
I'd settle for something close to your suggestion purely to get the concept though Don't care for the idea of Targeting Drone though.
Maybe go with a passive +tohit power. Call it palm link or whatever it was called in the cyberpunk/shadowrun RPGS.

Can we just make this happen now? I'll gladly payout 800 points for the option if it includes a Hail of Bullets animation power (dont think it would do nuke level damage).
But after failing to get my DP/TM to do much of any damage, I could just take it as an Epic Power Pool for fun and concept!

Has anyone been able to make this combo put out decent ST DPS?
I'm up to tier 3 Reactive Interface, and the ST damage is still sad. Throwing out Time Crawl and Slowed Response when needed, and just can't seem to get any decent ST damage going!
So maybe it's just my build. Has anyone gotten it to put out decent ST yet? -

Yes Wonder Woman is no weakling, but Superman is supposed to be the strongest, most powerful of them all. At least that was the case before the stupid DC reboot, now I don't know where he ranks in terms of power at the moment.
The writer/editors on JLA/Avengers weren't out to disrespect any character. I remember the uprising of THOR fans when Superman easily decked THOR, only to see them all laugh it up when Superman couldn't lift the hammer at the end. The creative team said it was all part of the story.
I'm also not saying Superman would go corrupt instantly if he wielded the hammer, but the hammer may have sensed Superman's power levels and realized it would be far too dangerous to let Superman wield the power of Mjolnir. Think about it, a quasi indestructible weapon that grants instantaneous control of the weather to the wielder, plus the wielder is endowed with the strength and physical might of THOR. Now picture that wielder as Superman.........not necessarily something that would make many feel comfortable. In the past as I recall he has also passed up membership in the GLC for pretty much the same reason: too much power. -

As to Superman, THOR did allow him to use it at the end of JLA/Avengers but after the big fight was over Superman couldn't lift it again. THOR assured him that the hammer was in good hands when Superman did use it and explained that in times of dire need the worthiness enchantment can be temporarily bypassed.
As to why Superman can't lift it......perhaps the hammer deemed him unworthy because he already has a lot of power? Power does corrupt after all if one isn't careful....
Going with your suggested idea, then the power of Thor's hammer could corrupt anyone. Wonder Woman lifted it and she's no slouch in power, same with Storm.
And I can't imagine Superman not passing the worthiness enchantment. -
Would it be possible to get thin striped disco stockings?
We have Disco as an option in Tights with Skins, can we get it so they come with black stripes (and white stripes) automatically, and you can add another color? -
I'd like to see sets that include more Defense ALL like Gaussians in the tier 6 spot.
I'd like to see new non set IO DMG Procs created. All equal in damage, but allow for different damage types. 100% chance to go off, so likely does less damage than the procs with a chance to go off, but Im sure there's a way to keep them equal to added DPS.
Oh hey, I want my Invulnerability/SS Tanker to have fiery fists of doom! Well I'll just have to slot this Proc into every attack so I can!
Either that, or create more sets with various damage procs that covers the vast variety of damage types. -

He's Staff Fighting/Energy Aura, which are the de-factor power sets for Gambit. The only alternative would be "Energy Weapon Throwing", which doesn't exist. If he also shares the hair, and the nickname? Yeah. We know what you were doing. This isn't even a Captain Erzats or a Proxy; you made Gambit.
And considering Paragon's history with Marvel...

What the GM's are supposed do in those cases in reset the costume to default. The names should be safe unless it also violates copyright or if they determine it is offensive in some way.
