    But using Alabating Strike for the Empower Combo, will generally have you waitng to use it for the Attack Vitals Combo. Unless you miss on the Nimble Slash.

    NS -> AS -> BF -> 1k Cuts -> AS -> VS -> SS -> repeat

    ...works to keep the two combo's going I guess. As 1k Cuts has such a long animation.

    Still, I'd likely do something different. Maybe get rid of Focused Accuracy, as you have Blinding Feint for +ACC. And FA is a huge END drain...though admittedly nice to have for STF.

With such slotting, Phys Perfection is actually giving you more +recov than Stamina and Health is giving you a healthy 122% +regen. If you had the extra slot, I'd drop a Numina's Heal/Rech into it so that you'd get a tad bit more +regen (138%) and more +hp. Anything over that is going to be wasting enhancement values. There really isn't a point, as far as I can see, of putting more than 3-4 slots into a single attribute power.
    Yeah, stacking different forms of mitigation is best, but maybe I just didn't notice the +Regen helping the survival of my /SRs.

    Hits that broke through the Defense on a constant basis, just seemed to out do the regen as well.

    When the defense stood, regen didn't seem to matter as much. Of course, my DB/SR had Aid Self, and my DM/SR had Siphon Life.
  3. What exactly are you going for? General PvE? AV Soloing? TFs?

    In terms of power selections, I'd have taken Power Slice instead of Nimble Slash. Empower isn't that great of a combo.

    Going for Attack Vitals and Sweep is better.

    Though on my DB/WP I went with just Attack Vitals.

    I ask all this, most because I before I'd help with the slotting, I'd just like to know if there's a reason for these power picks? Or can we put some changes into it.

  5. ...okay deciding on a stalker build for PvP. I have other toons I'm working on that I plan to PvP with, but trying to decide on the way to go for a Stalker.

    For Primary I'm thinking of either EM or ELM.

    For Secondary I'm thinking of either WP or REGEN.

    However for Epic, I don't know...should I go with Hibernate (when I plan to get Phase Shift) or is Shadow Meld good for PvP?

    Personally, if I wasn't going to slot Health with the +RECOVERY uniques, I'd just keep it 1 slotted with 1 HEAL IO, in it.

    On a /SR anyways. The Regen from it won't make that big of a difference.

    Now, if I have slots left over, then okay, I might put one or two more slots in it. But I doubt Id have the slots left over.

    And I agree. I love the effect of it. It should be given as an option to all Ice Sets, if not a new set that could possibly use it.

    RotP is great too though Don't get me wrong.

    What I really want to know is, what experiences do you all, as people of virtue, have there to give it such a bad reputation, or is this just a running joke I saw too much and got tired of seeing?

    I wouldn't say it's an always on going thing. I've been to the D, and seen none of the things mentioned going on.

    But having gone to the D, and seen it happen on more than one occaission (and seen the accidenal MT from team chat)...the D would have to do alot of cleaning up imo, to be seen as a family friendly place.

    I've also seen bar room fights on a few occaissions. In cannon, that just shouldn't happen. But from an RP perspective...well...The D is the only bar heroes and villains can hang out...so I see why people go there for it.

    I noticed it the other day on my main (DB/WP).

    I just recently started playing with a stats window...and noticed a few times the +REGEN jumping to huge amounts, for like a second.

    Doesn't really happen enough or that long to be a big concern imo.

    I've missed all targets a few times, with multiple yellows clicked (before you could combine inspirations, I clicked through them so Id have a spot for blues) and Focused Accuracy going...and miss all 8 targets. *sigh* How that would make me cry.
  13. Why not replace the Doctored Wounds END/RCH in Dark Regeneration with a HEAL/END HO?

    You lose 1.3 second of recharge time.

    But maintain the same END cost, but get a much better heal for when up against 1 target. Or those sad times you hit one target when surrounded by many.

    That's the build. Teleport/Hover/Soul Transfer/Blaze Mastery are all concept powers.

    I was thinking of trying a farm build, as I don't have one. Not sure how well I did with it though. I think the END concerns are taken care of however.

    Would love to fit in Tough...maybe I should give up Combat Jumping for Build Up as well...thoughts help..opinions...thanks

    The game is rated T for the content that already exists within the game.     Actually, it can become a habit with some people. Just because it hasn't with you, doesn't mean it can't for others.

    And some people actually use Tells ICly (cellphone, telepathy, comm, whatever)...while others say that their tells are always OOC.

    I know I have a habit of double typing paraenthesis when I just mean to use one (like above), if I'm not paying attention, as it just became reflex to double it up.

    Now usually in posts, I'll catch it, and go and take one out. But in game, I'll hit iit just out of reflex when not talking ICly.

    Mind you, if I'm in an all non RP PuG team for example, I'll use it, and then forgo it, and start using it again out of habit.

    Either way...you're telling me those who don't RP find it that bad?

    That's as bad as the RPers who complain about RPers who don't use them, and switch between IC and OOC and they can't notice. :P

    Which, I havent had a problem with, but some do...but then, my immersion in RP isn't broken by OOC chat, like it is for others who see it. For me, OOC talk is normal with RP, as I started with PnP RPing with friends...and I've never been in a tabletop RP that didn't have OOC chat going on, while RPing.

    I'd rather see it get improved (ie...have some sort of hair added to it) before it went over to redside.

    I'm pretty sure they said it would, but that it was an in house Beta to start...friends, family, people who actually work there sort of beta.

    Personally, I hope you have to lose access to the SG/VG your a member of, when you fall/redeem.

    Mostly, so people have to actually have to make a choice on if they switch, and not go..."I want all the badges" go get all the badges then go back. :P
  22. Actually...I'm pretty happy with how it is now.

    Yeah...it's the suckie in PvP. But, sometimes some sets are going to be better in PvP while others are better in PvE.

    I would like that ability too, but since we already have angel and demon wings tied to veteran rewards, I doubt they'd make an entire booster pack just to give those wings an added animation. Most of the booster packs so far have tended to revolve around origins (magic, science, etc), and since we've already had one for magic, getting another one is unlikely.     Wouldn't Angel/Demon fall more inline with natural origin? That said, we just had the natural booster as well.

    My suggestion, get the Valkyrie pack if you dont have the vet reward. They're better (imo) anyways.
