Glad you're enjoying the game and server.

I do believe we teamed on a task force recently, as "Hextor", and in-chat bantering about awesomeness is familiar to me. I believe there was a phallic mention after the "powering up the orbital lance" prompt appeared.

You were great comic relief on that TF, if I do say so myself.

My account lapsed for about an hour last week. I hope this doesn't cost me my Vanguard business :/

As I recall, Leandro had the same bottom overlay occur not too long ago... but I do not believe anyone figured out what it was, or why it popped up.

I think we did rather well, considering a few frequent disconnects, only a handful of emps/pain doms around, and an insufficient amount of EoEs.

I hope next time people might bring a handful with them to the raid next time

Also, thank God for the in-zone hospital, let me tell you. It was only my second time on the Yellow assault team (typically, I am a yellow taunter), and I made darn good use of it.

My first attempt above was on a hero, on Champion. No problem.

Today, I tried a rogue corruptor in a VG on Freedom. No problem.

I just tried on a villain in a VG on Virtue. The animation played, a charge was used, no portal appeared.

It would seem it's a problem with villains, and not VGs. Clearly, the devs do hate villains, since they see my rogue as reforming herself.

Weighing in on the 20 temps thing... I do believe we managed to get all 20 temps on the all-Tanker run last night.

I was having the same issue.

I logged out, used the "repair" function on the launcher and now I can enter the doors.

I was much like you, and thought I would never play a game with a monthly fee. Then I tried the trial. Then I bought the game. Then I played for three years.

Somewhere along that time, I got and maintained a second account. Sure, my wife thinks it's hers, but I know the truth.

Edit... oh, and welcome to the game. You made an excellent server choice!

It took a while, but I managed to get in. At last look, it was "connecting.... #15", and I stopped watching. Eventually, I heard a click, and I was able to log in.

I was in for about 15 minutes, and I "Mapservered".

The same thing happened last night. I switched to join a Hami raid, and as I approached the Hive, I lost connection, and it took 20 minutes to be able to log back in. During those 20 minutes, the forums would not load, either. Then I got to play for 30 minutes, and lost connection again.

I've never created a character with the intent to farm.

That said, I will farm occasionally, usually when I feel like playing, but can't devote much time or focus to it. Like, doing the laundry, cooking, etc. I don't want to burden a team with frequent AFKs, and I don't want to feel I've lost any progress in missions, if I get logged out during a 20 minute journey to the laundry room (I live on the top floor of an apartment).
