Hhehhh - I'm all for building bridges with my euro chums
  2. Commander Longfang is closing in fast on level 24, can someone enlighten me as to what I am supposed to do, or who the contact is that allows me to re-spec into a crab build?

I would also say how fantastic the VEAT is, I have really enjoyed it so far, and have had a tremendous amount of good reports from 24 onwards, which really helps to spur you on.
  3. In many ways I agree with this, but before we loose the EU community we should at least merge all 4 server we have on this side of the water. And we all know how that move would be viewed across the MMO community at large.

    Test Bug

It seems to me now that every time a new event is rolled out onto test that bugs like rubber banding, lag, and delays in power execution occur. I am wondering if any one else has noticed this ?
  5. Twisted Metal - lvl 50 DM/EA Brute - for 'da Badge
  6. Biscuits – You should post more often, I agree with a lot of what you said. But remember the “Forum” voice is sometimes not the best voice to listen to….

To the OP I do not see melee AT’s becoming redundant. I think they keep getting hit because there is so little risk whilst playing them, every other AT has its kryptonite. To be honest I play my controller and I feel that the game is more challenging. Yet when I play my Brute (I agree with the Col. It is one of the best AT’s in the game), I roll effortlessly through missions. there is a kind of Zen to them.
  7. Perhaps you could only use your tier 1 or 2 attacks ? i.e. you are too knackered to do any thing else!
  8. I'll be doing it with Quantum Flash - lvl 50 Ill/Kin Controller to round the team out.
  9. Sign me up Spawn, not sure who (alt wise) needs to do it, but I'll be there.
  10. Try the one out you like the look of the most. Then keep £5.99 handy for an immediate respect. Other than that I am sure you will do fine, choose the patron that suits the character.

  12. One central storage unit, eg the vault per account. Which would allow the free transfer of any and all items including INF between all characters of that account. How simple is that ?
  13. Has to be Don't Stop Me Know - Queen, it should be the COX anthem...........

    Oh wow, cool!

Is there a list anywhere with these sorts of arcs. I know the Freak Olympics is great and I remember the Final encounter with Dr. Vahzilock being special. There should be a list of the unique must do story arcs by level.

This is bad news as far as I can see, what next ? Badges, Influence, Prestige and the Big Fella in heaven forbid, Levels. I can see it now “Statesman’s special power leveling offer of £5.99 for levels 1 to 20”…………woot

They should also re look at the respect trials, I mean what is the point ??

The End is Near ! The End is Near !

The point of the TF trial : a badge, a respec, xp, salvage, recipes.

The list of your "what next" gives an ingame edge to a player next to an another, a paying respec token does not ( IMO ).

Doom, no mention of doom in my thread. But lets be absolutely clear, the more cool services you offer with a $$ attached to them the more disillusioned and disenfranchised those that can NOT afford them become. Me personally, not a problem – moved a load of alts recently re-named half of them with out batting an eyelid. But for those that can’t, well let them eat cake ehh ? Vive La Revolution !!

That’s a good point, but we are talking about the mythology here. It may have a bearing but it has no place in a modern setting. It should have remained a myth.

    [/ QUOTE ]

But superheroes and time travel go together - it's a major source of plots and retcons
I'm hoping for a lot more non-modern zones we can travel to - like the Middle Ages or ancient Egyptian - stuff like the pyramids are just asking for a visit - it could be in a zone with the sphinx, and a temple and some of those tombs cut into the rocks.
Or a medieval place with a castle and a town and a forest to explore.
If a villain could time travel, then it's only logical that he would try and alter history to help him in the present - it's what villains do
The game is a sci-fi fantasy, where mythological people and creatures exist alongside modern and futuristic people and creatures, and as time travel is a well-established part of the game, it makes sense to visit periods where there is a lot of strong mythology, like the Greeks and Romans, or Egypt or medieval times.
And don't forget, the costume creator has given us plenty of knights and witches and Egyptian priests and priestesses running around in a modern city - they must have gotten here somehow - it'd be nice forn them to visit home again

    [/ QUOTE ]

Over the many years and now several hundred comics that I have collect I can not once re-call a contemporary story line that ever had time travel with in it. Please if you could point one out I would appreciate it.

Further one of the main attractions of this game is that it is firmly entrenched in science fiction NOT fantasy. The very thought of blurring these lines sends shivers through me. These super-cala-fragalistic fatasmagorical flights of fantasy dilute the core of this game and should be left well alone……………I thank you!!
  18. I would have to say that Ill/Rad has long since been established as one of the better choices for the solo controller. My own Ill/Kin is also superb, a real Swiss army knife. But as you are new I would be tempted to go with one of the new choices Plant/Rad for instance looks great. Also given the choice between a controller or a defender I would go with the controller.
  19. I agree with Nightmarer, go for either Rad/Sonic or Rad/Ice. Oh and there was a time that a dark/dark/dark or D3 defender was almighty.

Because in a nut shell it is dull zone, as dull as dish water. Let me see Space Stations vs the Canary Islands.

[/ QUOTE ]Have you done the TF? Because the zone was created solely to support it.

It is a fine task Force – one of the best, all of which could have been accessed through either the Midnight Club or why not even Ouroboros ?
