I just think making a huge deal about it the way you are is pretty lame. It's NOT a big sound, it's NOT a big graphic, and it's NOT a sizable buff. Don't be such a whiner about it.
If aspects of the buff don't bother you, fine. Obviously it does bother others enough for them to wish a change. Doesn't equate them as lame.
I'm sure there are things you find annoying that others do not. Someone shouldnt jump out of nowhere and call you lame and whiner for it. -

Seriously, why shouldn't people have choices? Why call people that want a quality of life change whiners? Do you not want people to be able to decline something you know annoys them just so you can be a little RPG bully and get glee from inflicting it on them? -

I'm looking for the demon roar that goes off constantly, and the mystic fortune "glow" tone that goes off every 8 seconds-ish as the card symbols float around my body. And thanks much for the list of car horns.

At least make it so that it has to be a team-mate, and not some random stranger doing a driveby, and I'll not make madface at you.

A very enjoyable team. I was suprised and grinned like crazy the first few missions as we zoomed around with all those AMs applied and things melted in droves. Fun!

I strongly feel they should not tie the incarnate system to dieties officially.
Leave it up to the players to explain the power how they choose. Anyone can incorporate it into their backstory as they wish.
A ton less work for the Devs without the hassle of people nitpicking and kvetching for thier favorite mythos, or how nothing they have available to choose fits their character concept. -

I ususally blame Portal Corp. for opening too many cross dimensional rifts without caring about any side effects this may be causing.. invisible temporal storms swirling about that cause a variety of random effects.

A little silly maybe that heroes and villains got announcements to defend their cities by.. "Eventdude" and "Eventchick".
But still fun enough, in spite of the server lag. -
