    Hi Virtue

    Hai War. I kinda started playing more toons on virtue recently. I don't mind doing any tf/sf/gm hunt or even PvP. I've got a few 50's over here as well that can join ya if you need a hand. So far the 50's I have here are a Widow, Rad/Son def, Ice/Em blaster and a Ma/Regen scrap.

    I remember when you're base raiding group moved from Protector to Freedom. I followed suit and joined up with Vindictive but since they canned raiding they kinda moved to WoW.

    I agree with everything you've posted but this. A Scrapper may not be able to reach it since its HP cap and Resist cap is lower but a Brute OTOH will. A Brute has the same caps as a Tanker and will be just as durable with outside buffs. The only tradeoff is Brutes by themselves will do more dmg since they have a higher dmg cap while Tankers will survive more by themselves due to initially higher HP, Resist and Defense. With both equally buffed the Brute will be better offensively and with equal survivability but will never be able to manage aggro like a Tanker any day of the week.

    I have the avatar I do cause I belong to the ARRL. I have one of my Tribe also that I use sometimes.
    I was debating on getting a new one but it's hard to get rid of the awesomeness that is MB1.

  11. I haven't done anything of merit on a scrapper but I finally got around to leveling one to 50 and loved it. I'm not fond of the blue side but I do enjoy playing my MA/Regen. Now I have 2 more lowbie scrappers I'm leveling, a Fire/Shield and a Dm/Regen. The more I play /Regen the more I'm enjoying it and I'll most likely make even more /Regen scrappers in the future.
  12. I was fairly happy with this dbl xp weekend. I managed to pick up 3 new 50's, ran quite a few different arcs, made lots of cash and even did a hami raid. All in all I'd say that was a good weekend.
  13. I'd have to say MoG is alot better than SoW.

    MoG gives alot more +def and +res than SoW, can affected by rech buffs(so it can be up almost every min vs. 3min) and has no crash.

    Take that as you will.

    Help me decide.

    Instead of making a new thread I figured I'd just post a build idea for my scrapper here. Any thoughts on how to improve this toon? I'm having a hard time balancing def while squeezing out as much +rech as possible. Money is no object since I can already have everything except for the hecatombs and 2 lotg procs.

    If they're anything like the science booster then it's not. The science booster doesn't have anything in it worth spending money on. Hopefully the new ones will.
  19. All of the hero zones with the exception of Croatoa. They're just to plain, overly bright and most of them are just to damn big with nothing in them.
  20. I was going to suggest that too but he's set on his build so meh. If it were me, I'd slot a few things differently but everybody has different tastes.
  21. I'll still level the thing and give it a go. If it comes down to it, it can still be usefull in team arena. Never emp'd before since I mostly play villains and used to /kin and /rad so it could be interesting.
  22. My favorite thing to do with bonfire is to play "bowling" on the ITF. On the platform in the last mission I love to throw bonfire in the middle of them and see how many I can make fly while they're in formation.....

    I rarely use Bonfire as an area denial power since it can do nice dmg.

  24. I usually play squishy toons both in PvE and PvP and I've decided to make a support toon to roll on Freedom till I16 comes out. I was thinking of maybe a Mind/Emp but with DR and heal decay I'm not really sure anymore. I could roll a blaster for just offense but I'm waiting to do that when Rad/ comes out and I don't need another villain 50 since I've got enough of them as it is. That being said what is a good support to roll now?
  25. Left out the PvP io part. 2 Gladiator's Javelin and 4 decimations is pretty good slotting for ranged attacks. I'll take a better look when I get home.
