Here's a thread I made for my Mind/Therm build http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=192563. It is similar to the Rad/Son in slotting except I took Leadership instead of Concealment. The only reason I had to slot so much kb is because of how much kb protection gets diminished in PvP.

As far as the build nerfing goes, I did have to make some sacrifices to get where I wanted it but the Mind/Therm I didn't. Actually I could probablly get more kb protection in that build since I had slots to spare and just started slotting sets to get extra bonuses.

Right I know AS doesn't break hide. I was figuring someone on one of the teams would have something to flush you guys out or at least try to figure out a way once they noticed it was an all stalker team. I'm not doubting your team I'm just curious why some kind of trap like that wasn't set.

I really don't think yellows would have been all that necessary but they couldn't have hurt. I do decent vs stalkers in zones with just tactics these days so YMMV I suppose.

Someone with phase could have been the bait to lure the stalkers into wasting BU+AS and that would have allowed the other team a chance to spike one before they went into hide again. That tactic, however, wouldn't have prevented a triple BU+Shark from hide.

Hmm the only question I have is are you on the ground at all times? Since it only works while you are on the ground I'd hazard a guess that the game isn't recognizing you as being on the ground and thus no protection.

As far as the part about LR kb'ing you, I'd not be so sure. I have a Rad/Son def that I use in PvP and in his PvP build he has 37kb protection counting accro. With that build he still has yet to be kb'd by anything I've run across while playing him and that includes LR.

Doms used to be my favorite AT hands down but not anymore. I honestly had alot more fun on my doms pre "buffs" than I do post. They play alot different to me somehow now and I just don't like it. If I were still into playing doms I'd join you.

That was strange but that's not the first time I've heard of it. The same thing happened to me the other day when I decided to turn the diff back down so I could run through a few mishs I wanted to skip.

As for the dom scenario, it now makes sense why it went so badly.

Also that dom story was pretty sad. Even pre dom buff, a team of 7 doms could hold anything and destroy anything they wanted.

That's "leet" or "133t" speak for healer. Whoever originally came up with that wasn't to bright IMO...

Good guide. There's only one thing I'd like to recommend. Since I finally got Herostats to work with vista I really enjoy using it when I play my therm or some other buffing AT. When you buff the ingame display will let you know the duration left on what person and how long it has left before the power recharges. The same applies to all your other powers and buffs casted on you.

The other day I'm on a team with two scrap's on my mind/therm troller and after a quick scanner mish in Talos we decide to pick up some more. After the leader picks up a few more one guy asks "Do we have a healer?" and jokingly I reply "i r h341z0r my badge says so"(I just received the Medic badge the previous mish). After the team fills up the last recruit checks the team makeup and replies "Don't blame me if we die because we don't have a healer" and to that I reply "wat's a healer?". His response made me laugh, "r you serious?" and he said something along the lines of a defender and a corruptor are healers, I forget the exact comment sadly. My knee jerk response was of course "I didn't know that city had healers".

The only thing he was right on was that we were buff light seeing as the team consisted of two scraps, one pb, one troller, one def(traps/ something, I forget), two tanks and one blaster. Anywho the mish was a warriors one set for +3 and I was kept busy mezzing, buffing and keeping people on their feet. It went fine until the top floor of the office map we were on where the pb accidentally(I suspect on purpose but I couldn't tell) aggro'd the whole room onto our group. After we all faceplanted the last recruit quits, the pb logs and one of the tankers dc'd mid fight. After they left the rest of us finish the mish with little trouble, end up filling up the team again and had alot of fun.

Anyone have any other "healer" stories to add?

I'm am really happy about my "MA Babies". Without it, I would never have lvl'd a few different toons unless I forced myself to play them through the really boring early lvl's. I would have never lvl'd a tank by myself and the bad thing is now that he is lvl50 from MA I actually play him.

This doesn't have anything to do with MA but still relevant. I still PL toons of mine, when I farm, to somewhere in the 20's. I PL'd a mind/therm troller to 25 a few days ago and now it's 32 and I really enjoy playing it. I've come to loath the lower lvl's these days so skipping to powers I enjoy make me want to play the character even more. YMMV

Oh and if anyone remembers any of the others that weren't originally on the first page lemme know and I'll add them.

Depending on your play style. You could go leadership and keep a temp phase on you or you could grab concealment and slot some +Acc.

Anyone else notice that LH almost has the lowest -rep? That's slightly amusing in a sad way.
