ALL dmg types are resisted in PvP. Everyone has resistance to all types of dmg once they enter a zone. You could catch a few squishies that don't have kb protection with focus but anyone with any kind of protection will shake it off since its only .67 unenhanced.

Mind/ does lack dmg since it only has three damaging attacks which are all ST(Dominate,Levitate,Mesmerize). It does, however, have Mass Confusion to make the enemies dmg themselves. Unfortunately that you don't get anything out of it if they kill each other and you don't dmg them. I suppose slotting dmg procs into Mass Confusion and Terrify could up the AoE dmg. In the end it will still come up lacking in the dmg department since it sacrifices dmg for control.
I'd say if you are looking for dmg then go with the blaster but if you want good control with decent ST dmg then go with the troller. -

I've always make some kind of plans for every dbl xp weekend. First and foremost it involves staying up just about the entire weekend. That has been a tradition for the past 3yrs for me.

I'm shooting for two more 50's and getting plenty of inf and prestige.

I'm in no way shape or form a good PvP'er but I do decent in zones solo and of course with a team I do much better. I have a lol rad/son def that only has kb io's and a few +hp sets and I hold my own unless I'm against multiples while solo. Also before the dom "buffs", I used to use a SO'd Fire/Elec dom and get kills. IO's help get an edge but not really necessary to do decent. -
Freaking awesome. Did you let him dig in himself or did you cut him a piece and give it to him? I gave my niece and nephew their own cake to dive face-first into and that was hilarious.

Fire does the most in PvP out of all the scrapper primaries with Broadsword in second and Spines(IIRC) in third(not to mention it has ranged dmg). Unless your opponent stands still Dark and claws aren't going to kill someone.

Very true. I had a PUG today on my same Mind/Therm that was pretty hard to keep everyone upright. Everyone was doing good but +3's against Nemesis was pretty rough. Also +3 against an AV Ice Mistral in a bank mish was humbling.

So your saying it's better to hire a financial advisor to tell you what to do?
I'm sure I can amass a hefty sum if I tried since I have plenty of toons on virtue that aren't using their market slots and plenty of room for crafted stuff in the base. The only bad thing is for me to get anywhere I have to actually log into the game more often first. Maybe my next goal is to turn that 300mil into 1bil instead of making even more alts and not finishing their builds.

I read Laev's thread already and it was a good read. I still do make inf for myself, albeit slowly since I don't check it often enough. I figured I'd offer someone the chance to make both their's and my wallet fatter. Either way it goes inf will be made.

I'm to lazy, as far as the market is concerned, to get into making some cash on the market.
I've been trying my hand at it a bit on one toon and so far he has 300mil and over 200mil more in bids. I wouldn't mind lending someone that 300mil to make us both richer. So anyone more market savvy than myself feel like making smart investments for me while making a profit(blueside, Virtue)?
I know I could just do it myself but my playtime is severely reduced lately and when I do play I'm on long enough for a few mishs with some friends and then I'm off again. So when I am on I really don't feel like spending that little bit of time at the market.
