  1. I haven't read through everything but I will say slot end mod into static field while leveling up, it helps.
  2. Boomie

    I did it.

Doesn't help that new sets come out and I have to try them out, with various combinations.

You sir are awesome. You make my 20 50's look like one. One day I'll get around to making a PL'er but I don't see it in the near future unless someone decides they'll PL one for me.
  3. Hmm that beast set reminds me of the druids summoning tree in diablo 2...

I honestly prefer to refer to my characters as toons. Regardless of how much effort I put into costumes, builds or even back stories I still will call them toons. I think it's because I never get fully immersed into the game or toons while I play. I love this game and the characters I create but I will always have a certain disconnect while I play. I do try to use the word less on the forums but until I leave the game I will always use toon in most instances instead of character.
  6. For me, no. Back when I first started I was unsure what AT I wanted to level and what server I wanted to play on. After I settled on Triumph I deleted everything else I had and made a Ice/Therm corr. He was my main for awhile but I got bored by the combo so I canned him and keep rerolling him but have yet to keep a reincarnation of him. I then rolled up a stone/stone brute and he was my main(and my forum name) for a long time but I ended up moving to Virtue and retiring him. I have yet to have a new main and just jump between a couple of toons and make a new one when I get bored and retire one.

    New thread

Sir I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about....
  9. SB PLZ. Oh and make sure it's slotted with +runspeed, I really enjoy running around near SS levels while destroying everything.
  10. Color me interested. If enough joins up, I just may have to participate.

Also I don't understand why SB catches so much flak. It's an awesome buff and I can't seem to get enough of it. I also enjoy the +speed buff along with the +rech, +recov. Sure the +speed throws you off initially if you were already moving but once you realize it's on you I don't see any downsides besides how much quicker everyone can finish the task at hand.
  12. During I18 I created a spreadsheet that was for calculating how DR affected attacks but scrapped it after I finished all of the scrapper sets. I just ended up losing all interest in pvp.
  13. Man after reading this, I'd pay ALOT to have a RTS version of city. I've put in so many hours into C&C ever since the first one came out it ridiculous.
  14. I'd say play on Virtue since it's the unofficial RP server, which is the server I call home. Pocket D, Atlas Park and a few other places has groupings of RP'ers. There are also RP themed super groups running around there so it's not to hard to find people for RP.

Hmm I came here expecting a Union version of Triumph's "New Thread"(pony edition). Now I am depressed good sir.
  16. Nah it doesn't look moldy, it just looks different from what you are used to. It's like the green ketchup, it looks weird but it tastes like regular ketchup should. Black bun aside they look pretty good.
  17. I'd like to add that the chance for placate works........ really well in static field. If you like to have enemies on you and not killing your gremlins, DON'T use that proc. I had it in SF on my Elec/Cold and I ended up replacing it because my gremlins died ALOT if the enemies weren't focused on me.

  19. Once upon a time I used to collect power rangers and beast wars. I had just about one of everything power ranger related, up to when they went into space, and a good chunk of beast wars. They were all packed up in a storage building on my grandparents property until one day some jerk decided to set the building on fire. I lost all of it except a morpher from the first season of power rangers. I had it with me because I was fixing a broken wire. When I get home I'll have to see if I can dig it out and post a pic of it.

I have to disagree with that one. See Tenzhi's post below. That's exactly how I feel about blasters.

Honestly if I want to play an AT that is all about offense and not any def/res, buffs/debuffs, I'd just play a dom instead.

Nice. I came from the land of Triumph about two years ago.
  22. On Topic: Brutes used to be the perfect AT for me. I've logged ALOT of hours on my stone/stone brute before IO's. I have 3 brutes at 50 but have since quit playing them. I used to only play melee AT's but I grew bored of them and now I just play squishies. I only have one non-squishie that I play(TW/EA Scrap) while the rest are mostly controllers.

Off Topic: I have 3 AT's that I refuse to play and those are Tanker, Mastermind and Blaster. I hate the low damage of a tank and I'd gladly trade slightly lower survivability for alot more damage of a brute. I like teaming with masterminds but man I can't stand to play them since they bore me to death. I would like to play a blaster but they feel to one trick pony to me.

    Pretty much this.

It depends on the AT and what its build is really. For shiggles I keep a tray full of small greens on my troller and everyone else usually two column of greens, two of purples and one wakie, one breakfree and two blues.
  24. Both actually. I've done a few tips and the midnighters arc solo on +0/x2/bosses and haven't had any problems besides taking longer to take down smashing resistant enemies. I ran DFB to 22, picked up SO's and PUG'd the last few levels. I'm thinking of just running DFB to get to 32, then after I get singy that'll help with solo'ing speed.
