  1. Thanks guys btw. I already like the look of the new version. I think that it will bring my AV soloing times down some. I will respec into this and give it a whirl asap.

Use that 5th slot to add the Kismet rather than another Acc to Benumb.
That works even better thanks for the advice.

I use Electric Fences+Tesla Cage+Poisonous Ray for attacking. Elec/ does ok damage but with the amount of debuffs I'm tossing out plus the pets and procs more than makes up for it. The first two attacks do the same as any other primary but after that the other attacks are pitiful. I skipped the AoE Immob and Jolting chain and have never missed them.
  3. Ok so I took a thing or two from both of those builds and came up with this version. The only reason why I want two Acc in Benumb is for the AV's. I could get away with one but that is a power I want to hit.

  4. Hmm I just may need a full set. If I do I'll get back to you soon.
  5. Hey again fellow scrappers I'm in need of some help. My Elec/Cold troller build needs some fine tuning and I'm stuck. I want to get Benumb and Heat Loss perma but I'm not sure on how to shave off those last few seconds to get it to that point. As always I appreciate the help guys.

Here is the link to the build:
    http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showp...1&postcount=10
  6. I like this. I've always had a love for all things mythology and Gilgamesh is one of my favorites.
  7. What are you trying to accomplish with this build? It looks like it's supposed to be a cheapish build but I can't tell what direction you're trying to take it. I have to say you are under slotting for +Acc in some powers though. The 142% is because the Gaussian's proc is firing off and inflating your Acc/Dmg. If you want to hit an AV/GM you need alot more accuracy, the closer to 200% the better. IMO the Kismet proc and the Rectified Recticle proc aren't worth it in this build both due entirely to Tactics. Also the Tarantula needs recharge badly unless you really don't plan to use it and have it as a set mule. I personally never slot the ST Immob for duration since it lasts long enough and that the power is on a very short recharge timer and thus very spammable.

I love that. Two friends and I leveled some electric powered toons together and that was a blast since everything never had any end. We 3-manned the majority of the hero tfs for the heck of it.

How does /TA play better at range? It doesn't have any cones so you can easily get right in there and debuff with your arrows. With Static Field, Flash Arrow and if you slot IO's Synaptic Overload will be up every spawn allowing you to get right in there and get a chance to unload first. With that much safety men without hats just might hunt you down for copyright infringement. Barring a /Sonic with Sonic Repulsion, a /FF with Repulsion Field or even a /Storm with Hurricane on is there any controller secondary that you would consider that plays better ranged than melee?
  10. Even if you are going /TA I'd vote taking Elec/ to match your friend. Between two sets of Conductive Aura, Chain Fences, Static Field and Gremlins there will be no group that can you since they will never have any endurance. Elec/ may be damage light but the amount of tools you get makes up for it. Paired with /TA that'd be quite the swiss army knife IMO. Even though the Gremlins will wake up everything in a Static Field patch it is still can either be a good area denial patch or used offensively to sap a groups end quicker.

Hmm now I'm going to have to make ANOTHER Elec/ troller to test that out.
  11. This bug has been randomly occuring in that SF since that SF was put into the game. I've had that happen several times over the years on that very mish and each time had to get a GM to come and force the enemies out of the walls.
  12. You know at first I thought Elec/ didn't have the power either for this stuff but I figured I'd try. This build is softcapped to s/l/e/ranged. Anywho I don't mind letting others look at the current build so........

  13. To OP: yes yes I would.

Personally since we are summoning a pet granted by the well I'd rather have the power randomly summon a boss class pet from any lvl50 enemy group. It'd be like the Secondary Mutation or Mystic Fortune power, sure you get good stuff but there is bad mixed in to balance out the good.

All in all, almost everyone in game has farmed something.
    This.

I do have a total of two farming toons(one is retired) but rarely ever play them except when I just want to log in and relieve the stress of RL by wading through tons of enemies.
  15. And bought. Thanks for the quick reply.
  16. Hmm anything KB, Stalkers, Tanks without taunt, man builds, petless MM's and /FF'ers that skip shields....

The only thing I have come to dislike in this game, powers wise, is KB. The amount of people that don't know how to use it is alot greater than the ones that do and that has made me hate it over the years. Now I have a reflex cringe when a friend talks about KB or if I see I end up on a team with an energy anything.
  17. Just like the title says I need to get ahold of a gladiator's armor +3% def proc and an Apocalypse triple. Please either PM me here(prefered) or send a tell to @Boomie and we'll work something out. Thanks all.
  18. Most likely I'd get absorbed into the massive amounts of manga I've been putting off. I'd also start back MTG seriously and finally do PT's once again.
  19. Not sure if it was in patch notes or not but it's been there since not long after GR was released.

Hrm I don't think I have anything on Pinnacle anymore. I used to run over there with some friends but we all moved to Virtue to join some other friends.

.....probably not gonna happen, because everyone is going to speed run it for the Notice.

Oh well, maybe I'll just form my own, specifically inviting non-50s who want the bonus merits and half a lavel of XP that we get at the end.
What server Claws? I enjoy running SP and I never mind doing a kill all of anything.
  22. While I have a KM/SR at 50 I have to say it's just not as good as KM/Nin or Elec/Nin sadly.

I'd say go Elec/WP it's a fun combination regardless if you can easily cap your hp. I've tried Elec/Nin but for some reason it just doesn't do it for me like Elec/Wp does. Now for /Nin I LOVE pairing it with DM/....

    No, just no.

I really like the SP tf. It's not that long of a tf, it's loaded with freakshow and gives good merits, whats not to love? I've trio'd it before for shiggles and we killed everything and it only took around a hour and a half. Now a Numina OTOH........

    Burned Out

I'm haven't burned out on them yet but I've been organizing kill all ones coupled with a kill all ITF for the sake of shards and drops for all. Having a team of people that has a sense of humor goes a long way.
