  1. Sooooo, how many people here have been farmed to 50? Heh.

Oh, and after about a year and a few months of casual play Shimmering Entity is now 50.
  2. It's called Bodyguard mode. Suggest it to them next time.

Plus were you fighting an MM that did not take their secondary powers?
  3. Pimpsmack me some noob hoes who don't like shields, but instead want heals >_>

And yes, that sounded very white.

    And then...

Jason visited a shrink shortly afterwards to talk about his childhood. And then....
  5. "PFF now stacks correctly" More like nerfed to hell.
  6. Order of the Wolves is the name of our dual run VG, and is looking for any new members we can get a hold of. We are a relatively old, but rather small group of Villains. The leaders are "Nal-kun", "Insane Mage, and the third and founding member who has supposedly left the game since he found himself a new job.

Don't like playing in VG mode? No problem. I, Nal-kun, will mostly be the prestige hoarder until you, the player, feel comfortable enough to enter VG mode. Another issue may arise money wise, and I have this problem covered as well. I'll be there to offer any financial support (excluding high-priced IO sets) you need along the way in your leveling. We are rather laid back and more relaxed than usual, but we will most likely be running many SFs, Arcs, Flashback Arcs, Arena Events, and Zone PvP events once more members register.

We do, in fact, have storage racks and crafting tables in our base, but the base duty is up to Insane Mage until I myself learn how to work bases (more of an in-game player than a base worker, although I'm willing to learn).

Another thing I want to say, is that I'm also willing to provide any mission support I can, such as a pesky Elite Boss giving you trouble, or maybe an AV overrunning you. Don't forget that I can also help with most of your needs whevener you need me as long as I'm on, but try not to ask for out-of-the-ordinary things (such as impossible feats or absolutely unaccomplishable things).

All in all we would be very happy, and willing, to accept any members in-game. My global chat handle is "Dreamlord Kuzuji", and I'll be on tonight with Nal-kun in case any of you want to try us out. Oh, and before I forget! If you live in a different time zone than Eastern Time please tell me so that I can write you down on a schedule.
  7. "Hmm......Corn? I don't remember eatin' corn!"

  8. I know when I'm right O_ o

And I'm just gonna wait till open beta
  9. Anyone got a working link to the podcast?

Also, PvP is here, just deal with it -_-
  10. Strangely enough, WM/EA is going to be a l33t combo in i13.......fascinating

May try it over my super pretty and super strong SS/EA
  11. Greenhorn Hobo - Spend 7 days of inactivity near another Hobo NPC.

Bonus - Awards you with a 3.2% influence increase for every enemy defeat and mission complete.

Description: Welcome to the hobo family! Your beginner's scavenging skills and general loitering in a specific area of choice has made you a greehorn among hobos.

Genuine Hobo - Spend 10 days of inactivity near or at each of the following: trash bag, dumpster, hobo NPC(s), trash heap, bus stop/warf, sewer entrance, shopping cart, train station/ferry, and outside a hospital entrance.

Bonus - You gain a 7.2% increase to influence/infamy from all tasks and enemies. You alos gain a 5% increased chance for an enhancement drop per enemy.

Description: You are a master of your area, a keen eyed wanderer and an excellent scavenger of loose change and valuable items! You know many tricks to the trades of the hobo world and are recognized as a genuine hobo in the hobo family!

Sorry, I just like the idea of a hobo day job/night job

Also, for Genuine Hobo Accolade, you would need to get each of the Hobo badges for the areas you spent 10 days at each.

Sewer Rat: You have spent many days lingering around this cesspool of filth, and thus you have been awarded the Sewer Rat badge! (10 days of inactivity near a sewer entrance or in a sewer for both sides)

Dumpster Diver: A place to dump your trash, or a treasure cove for just the right hobo? You seem to think the better of the two, as you have spent many days diving for unwanted goodies. (10 days of inactivity by a dumpster for both sides)

The Hobo Dream/Stow Away: (The Hobo Dream)- For decades hobos have ridden the rails carefree, and you too sought this life, the hobo's dream. (10 days in a train station) (Stow Away)- You've dreamed of the life at sea, yet the price of the salty mistress is a bit beyond your pocket full of holes, but you've learned to "improvise" things by stowing away to live the adevnture of a hobo's life time! (10 days of inactivity near a ferry Villain side)

King/Queen of the Trash Heap: You always knew you were royalty, or at least you thought you were. Spending enough time on the top of this trash heap has given you the right to declare yourself "King/Queen of the Trash Heap".
(10 days of inactivity atop a trash heap for both sides)

The Beloved Thief: As a hobo, It's against the rules to steal wanted belongings, but you've learned everyone loves you for takin' their trash, and heck, you just enjoy a bag of trash from time to time. (10 days of inactivity near trash bags for both sides)

Just a Regular Hobo: Ah, the shopping cart, the unofficial symbol of hobos everywhere, and I suppose you as well. Spending that much time near a shopping cart has made you a regular in the hobo community and has awarded you the title of "Just a Regular Hobo". (10 days of inactivity near a shopping car both sides)

Hobo Van Winkle/A Dock by the Bay: (The Public Bed) The Hobo before you used that Bus Stop as a bed, so why shouldn't you? Public areas are your home after all, and this Bus Stop is no exception, but, obviously, spending this much time sleeping in the Bus Stop has awarded you the title "Hobo van Winkle". (10 days of inactivity by a bus stop Hero side) (Dock by the Bay) As the song goes, you're just "sitting on a dock by the bay" and this much time spent skipping rocks and dipping your toes is definetly worth of the title "Dock By the Bay". (10 days of inactivity on a dock Villain side)

The Social Bum: Wow, you really enjoy the company of your fellow Hobos, otherwise you wouldn't have spent this much time singing songs by a trash can fire, eating beans at the same trash can, and sifting through tons of garbage with them! (10 days of inactivity by a group of homeless NPCs, and is only available in Warburg)

Genuine Hobo: You're well traveled, keen eyed, and a king of the road! You've seen it all from groups of other Bums, to tons of strange strange things in the sewers, to even becoming King of the Trash Heap! For all of this the entire Hobo community sees you as a "Genuine Hobo"!

I know it sounds completely difficult, but it was just my suggestion

Although i really do want my Hobbs' character to be a hobo when he's logged off

Was thinking Day Trader or Inside Trader/Martha Stewert for logging at WW/the BM

    [/ QUOTE ]

    I'll admit it, I chuckled

Maybe logging off in Went's for about 60 days of inactivity will negate 5% of the funds Went's takes away for about 2 hours of gameplay on your character o.o

Maybe call it "Patron of Wentworth's"

Same would go for the Black Market, except for the Black Market it would be "Inside Dealer"

Construction worker: construction sites. (i.e Kings Row)

    Benefit: -10% to crafting costs

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Don't forget Faultline o.o
  14. (Both sides)Construction Worker - Log out in a construction area

Bonus - Leadership powers affect you more easily due to your precision with construction and ability to follow commands more precisely. Gives you a 2% bonus to all leadership powers affecting YOU ALONE (includes Vengeance).

(Both sides)Construction Chief - Log out in the same construction area and remain inactive for 50 days or more

Bonus - Your quick commands and excellent timing have made you a qualified leader. Leadership bonuses affecting everyone on your team increased by 3%.(Excludes Vengeance).

(Both sides)Greenhorn Hobo - Log out for 5 days around or near a shopping cart, trash heap, and dumpster.

Bonus - Increases all influence gain by 4.3%

(Both sides)Genuine Hobo - Log out for 50 days around any kind of trash heap, shopping cart, homeless NPC/hobo, dumpster, or train station/ferry.

Bonus - Your expert scavenging skills and knowledge of your area has made you an expert scavenger of any kind of loose change or valuable item. Gives you a 7.2% increase to influence gain and a very, very slightly increased chance on enhancement drop rates.

    Whadda ya think?

  20. My only ideas for this would be to give out the Hydra-Os and Titan-Os still, but hand them out at your current level with the chance of being anywhere from base level to 3 above you. Maybe I want Titan-Os for a toon of mine instead of Recipies! I don't always wanna revolve around the Invention system.

I'd just like to see these enhancements continue to be givin' out, but with the chance for a base, +1, +2 or +3 reward.

EXAMPLE: A level 47 does the Sewer Trial. Upon finishing the Trial they were awarded a random level 48 Hydra Enhancement. They do it again and get a base level Hydra Enhancement. They do it a third time and get a +2 Hydra Enhancement.

  21. Um, tough over aid self for the lose :/

It's not so strong and pretty when it can't revive its own Strong and Pretty. What I mean to say, is that without some kind of fishing hook designed for your strong and pretty you'll be stuck with your current strong and pretty that will ever slightly become less strong and less pretty over time. Your fishing hook needs to pull up your suffering Strong and Pretty and restore it to it's fullness
