While browsing my favorite starcraft site, I came across the one guide to rule them all

Here it is: Guide to internet forum trolling

    [/ QUOTE ]

A truly epic and informational guide!
  2. Thugs/Poison is a very powerful combo in melee that is basically undefeated by most builds.

If you play on Infinity message Trance, he's a pretty good Thugs/Poison PvPer.

If not you can always message him on the boards with a PM.
  3. Invoke Panic will invoke panic on your build.
  4. Still no response to my challenge??

    WTF skip share pain?

You've got to be kidding me.

It's a gigantic heal with a minor penalty (-100% regen and can't heal). Pain masterminds get a +400% regen pbaoe toggle! So you still run around with 400+% regen depending on health and other bonuses, and bodyguard mode reduces the health cost for share pain.

DON'T SKIP SHARE PAIN CAUSE IT'S OVERPOWERED

    [/ QUOTE ]

Finally, someone else who realizes the -regen in share pain is weak.

Yes, share pain is a very good and very situational heal. Keeps your bruiser or any other pet alive quickly in case of emergencies.
  7. What I like most about CoX? Jeez, a lot of things really, but one thing that keeps me coming back is the community. Hard to believe, right? Well it's true, the guys and gals of CoX keep me interested, up-to-date, and laughing a lot, which really helps with my own enjoyment of the game.

Of course that goes without saying that the helpful nature of the CoX community is also much appreciated. Not only are a lot of them helpful, well, quite a few are rather insightful as I have mentioned. Lastly, without a good community I would've dropped CoX long ago since without friendly players it feels more like a snooze fest.

WHat could be improved about CoX? Well, probably, in my opinion, the thing that could use a lot of improvement are some of the old zones and stories. I mean sure they're great, but they're looooong overdue for an overhaul. Plus, furthering the stories would be something quite enjoyful to read and experience.

THat's pretty much all I wanted to say on the matter itself.

    Have a nice day!

    Non-combat pets!

Technically for the RSF I'd like a minature Recluse that follows you around shaking his fist randomly.

But I think something else other than a Hellfrost demon should be givin' for the Ice Mistral Task Force.

I suggest something more along the lines of something Psionic-ish.

Possibly even a floating purple wisp?

Storm is -not- the best 1v1 mastermind build.

Storm is absolutely the best anti-Mastermind build, though. Virtually nothing in MMs really can deal with storm. Traps -could- place its -def away from the stormie, so that it doesn't get hurricaned. This does not really work in practice. Poison could weaken hurricane (and powerboost + weaken is very powerful) but even still it does not gimp the mass knockback, whch ruins your pets' dps and in the end storm wins the war.

I've never straight up -dueled- GV's necro/storm but I've fought against it in team matchups where the teams were roughly equal except for his necro/storm and my mercs/psn. The necro/storm completely dominated that match, even though I stayed on him and kept weaken on him pretty much the whole time. I just spent so much of my time knocked around or stunned by tornado that occasionally weaken would drop and I'd be -tohit janked for ever. The big thing that eventually happened is that my pet recharges eventually couldn't keep up with the necro/storm's dps and I died.

Regarding /pain MMs, they are invincible more or less if WoP is up and they have even competent slotting. Take out their minions with AoE if you can, or just ST burst them down. You want to try and get them down to 1-2 pets if you can. If you can do that, they'll be forced to run or phase. If this sounds too difficult, let me tell you - it is too difficult.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Pain hardly ever gives me problems. They can't cause enough debuffs (-to hit, -fear, -slow) that other sets can. Sure they are a great healer, but if you strategize correctly, a /pain can be a cake walk. You just have to know which pets to take down first, and when to turn all your pets on the MM. For thugs, I take down the arsonist, then bruiser, then MM. I don't even worry about gang war anymore, they just don't do that much damage.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Hmmm, I'd like to take you on in a duel on the test server if you'd like.

I'm always up for a fight, and this is very interesting indeed.

Of course that goes hand in hand with my boredom of leveling my Ninjas/FF currently.

Don't tell your probot to attack. Keep him in defensive follow or goto, and this problem really never happens.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Wrong actually.

Even in go to or follow he will sometimes run up into melee range and fire off attacks.
  11. Tough appears to be unnecessary seeing as youy have both BG mode and the Charged Armor.

I would suggest possibly leadership, but that's just my opinion.
  12. A /Poison can beat a /Storm if Envenom hit with Powerbuild up.

Usually if you take tactics and have your pets slotted for a good amount of ACC you can overcome the -ToHit.

Yes storm is strong, but no it is not invincible.
  13. You meet me on test and I'll give you one hell of a fight.

I think Eran_ is joking, eh-heh...
  16. Yeah, I wonder why they stopped doing the Times. Seemed interesting enough to me the scoop aside.

    Kid friendly SG

Hero side or Villain side? If it's Villains you're looking for I may be able to hook you up if the lead doesn't mind.
  18. Interesting, coming in at i6 myself I never really got to see much before that (only finding out about the forums on my second account after my first was suspended).

Huh, so skills was an original "idea" Jack had, or it was probably just another empty promise used to steer people away from hating i4.

    Merc/Pain Build

The rez on a team is highly useful, as it buffs your Recovery Rate by 4.19% and your recharge rate by a whopping 75% for a minute. Very useful indeed.

I have a question for everyone keeping up with the thread.

What MM would be the best against all other MM's?

It seems like people like poisons pains and darks but can any of them keep up with the disruption from a /storm?

Seems like /storm MM would beat any other secondary MM if skill levels were equal just due to disruption?

    Thoughts?

What primary usually tops other primaries in direct battle? Thugs or Bots?

    [/ QUOTE ]

There, in truth, is no best.

Although there are powerful builds not all of them are invincible, and you will be trying to find a non-existant needle in a hay stack if you're truly seeking an "in vincible" MM build with which to fight other MMs.

    I would suggest /Storm, /Poison, /Dark, /anything but FF

That it is. Although he's thinking of burning a respec on a power, although I can't remember what it was.

I'd like a rematch with him sometime
  22. You cannot bypass them. You're gonna have a bunch of difficulty soloing that beast of a TF (and I only say that because the last mission has Ambushes on all 3 AVs/EBs).

You're gonna keep hitting that wall unfortunately :/

    CoH Olympics

I demand a sacred race through Eden to the Hive Spiral from the gate entrance through the woods.

While the runners are on FIRE!!!
  24. Numerically, is it better to team, or to solo for Prestige at higher levels?
  25. This thread literally set me up for that pun, but the only reason I wouldn't see this as a popular set would be to the animation times.

Otherwise I wouldn't mind hurling a fireball or two from my stick of power
